Chapter 107
Jun's eyes were narrowed into nothing more than two slits, and his entire body seemed to emit a menacing, cold aura.
"Uhm... I... I'm..." Ji-U stammered.
For some reason, the glare Jun was directing at him had taken away Ji-U's momentum. As his elation dwindled, Ji-U's eyes drooped, and his entire body seemed to have deflated.
He remembered seeing Jun in Hanam while he stayed at the Kisaeng house with Yu Yeong. However, it seemed that the man didn't recognize him. Granted, Ji-U had been away most of the time and didn't interact much with Yu Yeong's group. It was even possible for Jun to not see his face once, let alone recognize him now after all this while.
Just as Ji-U was pondering on how to present himself, Yu Yeong's voice came just in time to save his friend and colleague.
"Jun, there is no reason for you to be so mean, now is it? This is Kang Ji-U. I work with him at the Road Management Office, and he is also a good friend of mine."
