Wayne, Bruce Wayne

While all that was going around the world, a man was walking in a trench coat in the Streets of New York.

This man was, of course, none other than the Genius, not-so-billionaire, presumably playboy and philanthropist in all but his heart, Bruce Wayne.

No one made a fuss watching him walk the streets of New York, after which he left his mask and got into the Christmas vibe, everyone was into this week.

'I am not on my Earth' He had realized this in the first thirty seconds he had glided over New York, courtesy of the missing Wayne Tower branch of New York.

Bruce did not take much time to realize that he had been thrown into an alternate universe, as that was the main use of the Null void projector, to throw the victim of the weapon into the Null void, or in the case when triggered without any ammo, to a random universe.

'The technology is early to the mid-internet era, so it is safe to assume that many spy agencies and the government are onto my back. Plus the amount of blood that followed me tells me my DNA has been compromised, in the worst case, my fingerprints too.'

Bruce had to take measures against what was in his hands, thinking of using a razor to precisely alter his fingerprints. It was a horrid, but effective way to alter his identity, in a way he could enter society invisibly. But that was the second option the first was a much easier way, but driven by a lot of luck.

'There is no Gotham or Metropolis in this world, no Batman or Superman. The best I could find from the public library was Captain America whose mention was sixty years ago or the cheap knockoffs that other countries got after copying the US,'

'Also there is no mention of Superman or Batman, as the multiverses had in form of fiction unlike most if Constantine was speaking truthfully about his adventures.'

'Well at least some things do not change even in the multiverse' Bruce thought as he read about the World Wars.

'There was also this Hulk, looks pretty similar but at the same time different to Doomsday, the last sight being recorded on June 13, 2008. Just months ago.'

Bruce now had to get some sort of ID, and set up his base of information, as by the looks of it, Steppenwolf was still at loose, and someone who could not forget about his loyalty even after the time he was subjected to the mental torture, would definitely return, not alone in the worst case scenario.

Bruce had easily recorded time in his utility belt, which informed that he was some 150 years in a coma, a large amount of time for which Batman had remained without his guard up.

Unfortunately, while he was subjected to healing in the comatose state, his body deteriorated over time, albeit by a small margin, it was above average for an athlete, but very inadequate for Batman.

'Nothing I could not regain over time.'

For now, the priority along with the ID was to have a good background, as Batman had to have a famous yet laid-back persona for him that could prove his alibi in time of need, someone plain in the sight of the authorities, yet invisible to them.

Someone like Bruce Wayne.

Making a legitimate background was a big deal, much more in the digital era, where one could just pull up and check the alibi of the past life of someone.

Also, he needed money, for his base and his nightly activities, and that was one thing he could easily access, as he had mind no short of the best businessmen out there.

'That is another reason to have a good, legitimate ID with no mishaps in Alibis.'

And so Bruce left for Hell's Kitchen, an anarchical place, much like Gothaam, a smaller version of it perhaps, where it was somewhat easier to hide due to the lax police and lacking surveillance.

"I have not received a word from anyone of you. Where is the man that fell from the sky?"

Sitting there was the US president, asking all the authorities under him for answers, but no one spoke.

"Our unit thinks the person to have some shapeshifting abilities, as no one could blend into the crowd this professionally, this is the work of some alien tech or some ability of his."

The FBI head answered, seeking a way to pass the guillotine from his head to someone else's.

Just then, joining them one of the leading S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, agent Phil Coulson, to answer the doubts and report to the head of the state where their international organization was doing their investigation.

"Mr. President, we are looking into not some highly advanced race or a shapeshifting demon of some sort, the Director is leading the investigation himself, and what we could affirm is that this is the work of a human, a very capable human."

President Obama looked at all the officials at the table finally sighing away some of his worries.

"At least the target is a human. Report this to the World Council or they would again pester us for withholding information when they could already access this due to all the spies they had placed. "

"Already on it Mr. President."

"It has been a month it has been peaceful, I hope it remains this way."

For the previous month, Bruce had been in a hospital Hell's kitchen, applying his plans as he went forward to action. (no daredevil until 2015, or maybe...)

For his identity, he had to search the US database for someone of his age, visible similarities, and isolated background. It was a very rare chance for all of this to happen, but one with a lot of success.

Ben Tucker, was a man, born and raised in the UK. He was in an underfunded orphanage there, after which he was adopted by an American couple, mostly for the fun of it. In some twisted ways, it was to show their superiority against the non-Americans.

After that, Ben, now with the last name Tucker, immigrated to the States, with his parents. He did not pursue any higher education in America, aiming to inherit the small family Pizza shop his adoptee parents had in New York.

After his immigration, he lived a life of a Neet for seven-something years, given minimal activity has been recorded on the official and unofficial platforms from him.

With the godsend luck, this young man looked 95% similar to Bruce, except for the muscles his Batman activities had demanded from him.

At the time Batman had been summoned on this earth, this man, along with his family had gotten into an accident, where a car rammed into their Pizza shop, burning the adoptee's parents alive and Ben alive.

Bruce effectively carried the dead body of this 24-year-old man, giving it a makeshift yet worthwhile grave, and replacing himself inside the fire.

The next few days were in a public hospital, where he remained injured due to the fire, losing some of the muscle he had with him, to make it believable to anyone who may visit.

The hospitals were having a campaign where anyone who was admitted had to have compulsory blood donated, violating the basis of human rights

A very small amount, a step that Bruce had already estimated being taken on behalf of the authorities.

Compiled with stealthily replacing the blood with that of the initial person, and having a backup in cold storage, Bruce had successfully sneaked into the system, without tweaking any of the authorities.

The last month had gone by while he surfed the background of the role he was playing, surfing all the videos, the activities the previous Ben Tucker had indulged into, being incognito, to avoid any mistakes in the journey he was getting into.

He had taken over all the social media accounts, replying to the nonexistent friends and posting stories as Ben had, without his face showing for the last decade.

He had surfed all the porn and updated all of the games Ben had played to stay up to date. A large time period of Ben's life hosted a vacuum, which Bruce had to investigate further to know about the second persona of Ben Tucker, a small-time hacker of some secretive organization, which Ben had traced to be Hydra.

On the other side, he had given the rest of his attention to the history and economics of this world had, to get more informed about current events.

Finally, after a whole month of bed rest, his burning of himself in the unrelated fire paid off, effectively discharging him from the hospital without any suspicion.

With the lowest muscle mass Batman ever had, now he was to enter society as Ben Tucker, a man who was a very anti-social person, now a changed man after nearly dying and losing his beloved family in the fire.

But first...

Bruce entered the public office, filled out and printed FORM DS-11, Social Security Number Proof of U.S. Citizenship, and One U.S. format color passport photo, Supporting Documents and their Photocopies, Passport Application Fee from the 1200 dollars from his bank account and set up an appointment.

"My name is Ben Tucker, and I would like to change my name to Bruce Wayne."
