Akeno tried asking the demon some questions as she was the one who was using magic on it, so it made it more servile toward her.
"Where do you come from? And how many people are there?"
The demon opened its mouth and spoke in a hoarse voice.
"From Sherada, the town in the east from here. There are about thirty thousand living beings in total living there."
Ryuu came near Akeno and whispered in her ear. She nodded and asked again.
"Hmm, what races are among them?"
"There are mostly demons, with slaves of different races like humans, elves, dwarves, and others."
They both looked at each other before Ryuu sighed and again whispered in her ear.
"And, what about the security? Who rules the town with how many soldiers?"
"Our tribe, Bullross rules the town of Sherada with about two thousand soldiers."
Ryuu nodded as he felt good knowing more about them.
'Thirty thousand people...that includes the various slaves of other races with two thousand soldiers. Our only choice is to sneak into the town and make contact with the other races there.'
"Akeno, are there any questions you think we should ask it?"
Ryuu asked Akeno as he wanted to know more but didn't know what to ask.
She looked intently at the demon before asking.
"What do you do with the slaves of other races?"
The demon replied motionless.
"We kill and eat them for fun. They are used as sex toys by us and are always oppressed under our rule."
The mist around the demon tightened for a bit as Akeno clenched her teeth and looked angrily at the demon.
"H-How could you do that!"
She tried using her lightning magic as she raised her hand but Ryuu interrupted her as he held her hand.
"Stop!"
She turned and asked him dubiously.
"Why are you stopping me? This demon did so many awful things! It deserves more than just death!"
Her voice almost turned into a shout as she waved her hands around jiggling her bountiful chest.
'Wow!'
Ryuu got captivated by her bouncy movements before he shook his head and turned serious.
"It's not that I'm telling you to spare him. But it's not the time yet. We need to stay calm and not alarm them. Because in case they get to know about our existence, then we'll be among their target list to become the next slaves."
Akeno stopped her actions and realized what he was trying to say.
Yes, if they caused trouble and the demons came to know about them while they were still unknown beings in this world, that won't be a favorable situation for them.
She lowered her head dejectedly and apologized.
"I'm sorry Ryuu, I-I was just angry at..."
Ryuu interrupted her as he placed his hand on her head and smiled gently at her.
"Don't worry Akeno, I know you weren't trying to cause any trouble. What these demons are doing is not something to be tolerated. But I promise you that we'll make these demons pay for what they're doing."
Akeno raised her head and smiled seeing that he was assuring her and promising with getting back on the demons.
"Umm, thank you Ryuu. What do we do with this demon then?"
He glanced at the hypnotized demon and contemplated what to do with it.
Killing it was out of the option, as the other demons would notice it. So, letting it go was the only choice.
"Just let it go. But make sure he would not remember anything of what we conversed."
"Okay, I'll do that."
Akeno manipulated the demon to walk away toward where it came from and they both hid again.
"Tell all your imps to come back,...or better just undo their summon."
She did as he told and broke the magic with the demon and undid her summons as all the imps disappeared into thin air.
The demons were confused with the situation before they gathered together and discussed their plan.
Shouting and almost fighting among themselves, the demons started to go back to their town.
Seeing that they were going back, Ryuu narrowed his eyes before telling her.
"We should follow them to their town, and if possible make contact with the other races."
Akeno nodded and used her stealth magic as they both became slightly covert and followed behind the demons.
The demons went about in different directions and finally after an hour of slow travel arrived at a town.
The town walls were made up of dark brown stones with a big gate in the middle for people to go in and out.
There were demonic-styled buildings that were irregular in shape which could be seen through the gates.
The heavy scent of blood made the people with low willpower not approach the town. Some shouts and screams echoed out regularly even though they were a bit far away from there.
Looking at the group of demons going into the town, Ryuu gulped from fear as they finally reached the place where the demons stayed.
He turned to Akeno and asked with an unwilling expression,
"Is infiltrating the town the only way to meet with the other races?"
She in turn nodded her helplessly as she didn't know any other better way to do that.
"Most likely yes. We don't know whether there's anyone from the other races outside the town, but that demon clearly said there were slaves inside. So, that's the only way for us to come into contact with them."
Ryuu nodded and turned to look at the town before asking,
"Do you have any idea how we can do that?"
"Unfortunately no."
Akeno shook her head as she didn't of a way for them to sneak inside.
They both were stumped with no options to go.
Suddenly, Ryuu remembered Akeno's ability that could help them.
"Akeno, can you use your flight ability that can make us fly over the walls and enter the town?"
She became surprised and thought of using her power. Slowly, she started to float up which made her fly above the ground a bit.
"Yes! I can do that, it seems this ability is not sealed."
Akeno excitedly nodded her head and went back to the ground beside Ryuu whose eyes lit up as he thought of a plan.
"We'll have to search for a spot among the walls that's the lowest with the least public and fly into the town from there."
Making up a simple plan, they both circled around the town and quickly found a place where they could infiltrate from.
Coming out from the forest trees, they swiftly ran toward the walls and stopped at the bottom of it.
"Now Akeno, use your power and sneak us in."
