Meeting John again.

<General perspective>

The next day, Ava, Elena, and Regina spent time together as usual, enjoying each other's company and recording songs. That night, after dinner, Ava decided to work on her project. She created one large arc reactor and seven additional smaller arc reactors from the remaining materials she had.

Ava installed the large arc reactor as a new energy source for the lab in the villa, ensuring it could handle all their high-tech experiments and needs. The smaller arc reactors were carefully integrated into the armors she had previously designed, enhancing their functionality and efficiency.

Finally, Ava used the power of the large arc reactor to create a virtual Earth.

Next day, as usual, they spent time together, recording songs early because Regina's mom had been hit by a bus. Her dad called her back, so she left, saying she would transfer to Los Angeles after the exams. Ava and Elena insisted they could join her, but she rejected the idea, saying her mom was alright, with just a small fracture in her hand.

Ava gave Regina an ET-ZAL, which can help Regina's mom recover faster now that it has been approved by the government. Regina nodded with a smile. Ava and Elena dropped Regina at the airport and bid her farewell.

After getting back, Ava told Elena about the gate, saying it was an element she discovered that could open a portal to another Earth.

Elena first thought it was a joke, but when she saw Ava creating a portal, she was shocked beyond comprehension. Elena looked at Ava and said, "You are not human."

Ava replied, "Of course not. I am not human." Elena's eyes widened.

Ava chuckled, "I am a superhuman."

Elena sighed, "You made me believe you were a god or an alien for a second there."

Ava nodded with a smile and said, "Okay, back to the topic. The Earth on the other side is under attack by alien creatures."

Elena frowned as she looked at the portal in horror. "Those aliens won't come out of that portal, right?"

Ava shook her head. "No, they can't. I can control who is allowed to pass through the portal and who can't."

Elena sighed in relief and said while looking at Ava, "You know, sometimes you do things that are unscientific."

Ava chuckled as her phone started ringing. She answered the call, "Hey John. Oh, you got here? Just a minute, I'll be there." Then Ava hung up the call.

Elena asked, "Who is John?"

Ava nodded and said, "Yeah, he is your coach for marksmanship."

Elena was surprised and asked, "What about Regina?"

Ava replied, "Well, I was going to tell her, but because of her mom's accident, I didn't."

Elena nodded as Ava went outside to pick up John.

Outside, John was with Ares waiting for Ava. Ares said using sign language, "So, who is this chick I have to work for?"

Before John could say anything, he heard, "Hey John, over here."

John turned and saw Ava. He asked, "So, boss, why did you call me urgently?"

Ava replied, "Well, we can talk about it inside." Ava looked at Ares up and down, "So, did she pass your test?"

John nodded, "Yeah, she passed it."

Ava said, "Okay then, let's go. We have little time."

John nodded and followed Ava to the underground lab with Ares. Ares was amazed by what she saw.

Ava then introduced Elena to John and informed him to train her in marksmanship in a virtual world with a time difference of 1:15.

While John was training Elena inside virtual reality, Ava took a blood sample of John and said while looking at Ares, "So, what did John tell you about?"

Ares replied using sign language, "He said you will be my employer. That's all he said."

Ava smiled as she put John's blood sample inside a machine. "So, what do you make of everything you've seen until now?"

Ares replied using sign language, "From what I guess, you are the boss here, while John works for you."

Ava chuckled, "Yeah, you're right. It doesn't take a genius to guess that." Ava took out two applicators: one orange and one purple.

Ava said, "Follow me to the bathroom. We have more people coming."

Ares nodded and followed Ava to the bathroom. In the bathroom, Ava injected Ares with Extremis while informing her about the pain Extremis might cause.

Ares just said she could handle the pain. After injecting Extremis, Ares felt that her body and throat were on fire. Ares growled in pain for a second but controlled it as Ava injected her with CH-24.

After a minute, Ares sighed and said, "The pain was like hell," as tears started falling from her eyes when she heard her own voice. Ava hugged Ares and said, "It's okay, just let it out."

As Ares stopped crying, Ava said while giving her a towel, "Get fresh and meet me in the lab, but try to control your body as I don't want my lab to be destroyed."

In the city of London, Andy was sitting in a coffee shop when she received a call from Ava.

Ava informed her to find the best and most trustworthy people in two days. Andy sighed, "So I have to meet her again," as she walked out of the coffee shop.

<Magdalene Shaw perspective>

I was just enjoying my day, having borrowed some jewelry from a jewelry store and a supercar from a rich guy who had left it on the road.As I got to my house, I felt something was odd. I took out my gun and stepped inside. The room was dark, and I saw a woman sitting on a chair, smoking. I couldn't see her face clearly.I pointed my gun at her, but she disappeared and reappeared behind me with her hand around my neck."Your skills have gotten rusty," she said. Her voice was familiar, but I couldn't place it. She released me and said, "It's been a long time, Queenie, or should I call you Meg?"I looked at the woman, my eyes widening. No, it wasn't possible. I tried to confirm, "Are you Andy's daughter?"The woman started laughing. "Meg, do you think I would marry someone after Robert?" I was shocked to hear that name. I muttered, "But... how?"Andy looked at me and said, "Do you wonder why I look like I'm in my 20s or 30s?" I nodded. Having known Andy since childhood, I knew her better than anyone.Andy chuckled and continued, "You could say I made a deal with the devil." I also chuckled, knowing she was joking.Andy then told me everything about how she met this Ava girl and that she was working for her.I nodded, understanding everything, and asked, "So, what do you want from me?"Andy replied, "Just this morning, Ava informed me to gather the best and most trustworthy people for a task. You and your son are the best I know, and I trust you both."
