Chapter 3: 24 Hours are up

Being in the marvel world was just crazy, but as I remember my meeting with Stan Lee, I couldn't help but sigh a little.

I might be rational now, but I don't know how I would behave.

Binge eating, alcohol, drugs. I just don't know how will react.

The only thing I could think of to keep my future self calm, is to explore this world.

The reason I asked for so much money from the other guy is, I know in the MCU anyone willing to pay off someone and not outright kill them just has a lot of money to spare, either that or they want to stay in the dark.

If not they would have just waited to get sued and won the lawsuit later.

It didn't take long for a contract to come in front of me, with all sorts of different clauses.

The main thing was the right to forfeit to sue the person who was on the opposing side of this lawsuit, and that if I ever told anyone what had happened, I would have to pay them back 10 million dollars.

Right now, I really did not care about that. I need to find out more about my situation.

I was able to get all my ID's later on, in addition with a debit card with 5 million dollars inside it.

My name is Ben Reilly, I was born in the year 1998, June 8, and am currently 16 years old.

I then quickly got myself checked out of the hospital, but not before doing some pesky paperwork.

Mainly about not wanting to go into an orphanage, and wanting to live byself.

The only problem I would have is that a government official will come to meet wherever I live in the future to check on my well being, once every 3 months, until I am 18.

According to the addresses printed inside of the government database, the house of this old body was already situated in Forest Hill.

A huge upside to this was I can remember a character that lives nearby to where I do. Or at least in the same neighbkurhood .

Also, knowing my normal self, the only way to cure my own depression would be to meet the Marvel cast and explore this world. Only after a couple of days would he get a hold of himself, and try to desperately find ways to go back to his original parents.

But if what 'God' said is true, it will eventually sink in that he can't do it.

I then surfed the net, made some arrangements, and was able to do a number of stuff within the 24 hours.

I didn't really know how insurance proceedings would work, but it seems like I should look into if I can get insurance money from this situation.

But from what I found out, the money will probably be placed inside of a trust until I can get full access at a later time.

And I also did some read watch for some other not important stuff.

Have to say this skill is useful, only if I could keep it for more than 24 hours.

Now, I only have 15 minutes left, and have the most important thing left.

I opened up the system with my mind, and saw my status page.

Even Though I clearly mentioned in the survey that I did not want anything related to a system, it seems like whoever made the system did not care about my opinions.

Right, as of right now, my main goal is to find Peter-Parker. This place is not that big, I should be able to find him soon.

I have a simple plan to make myself not be depressed. Be constantly working and avoid reality. While not completely effective, it will be the most efficient way to find a way back to my original universe and meet mum, dad and my brother.

I then pressed the notifications and saw 1 line repeating millions of times.

I have some theories as to who this is. The TVA and the ancient one are the main ones though. The time stone used by the ancient one to analyze what's going on in the timeline, and me not being seen on it, and the TVA trying to figure out where the sacred timeline is changing.

I thought as the timer for the skill hit 0, I lost the skill, and I fell asleep due to exhaustion.
