Chapter 6: The Mate Finding Ceremony

Meanwhile in the Castle Pack Hall, the ceremony was going on as originally planned.

The guests were busy helping themselves to the special delicacies being served by the omega slaves who seemed to be looking more presentable than they usually did.

Because of the occasion, Oksana Mesh the Luna of Shark park had instructed that a new outfit should be created for all the omegas that would be serving that night.

She did that in an attempt to hide the bad living condition of the place, and how uncared for the omega and servants were.

Instead of that,people that came from far and near would not disrespect them because of an untidy outfit of the inferior in their park, not wanting to give anyone anything to talk about.

With many guests already making their arrival, it was already time and the party had already began.

This time, food was served first to get the attention of the crowd away from the fact that the man for which the party was originally organized had not made an appearance yet.

"Everyone, I hope you are enjoying the meal, there's a variety of food from all over the world here, feel free to dive into any meal of your choice, only when you are full will you get the strength to behold the presence of my son, Adam Mesh, the future Alpha of the Shark park"

After the wonderful speech by Luna, the crowd roared and cheered for her, she really knew how

To coax people very well.

Everyone believed that the future Alpha was somewhere in his quarters hiding from the crowd until it was time for him to make a grand entry and be introduced to everyone and his mate.

They were otherwise appreciating the decorations that had been put in place for the event.

The very big hall was decorated in soft colors that gave the place even more intriguing look, black and golden color.

There were drapes of silk that covered the chairs and tables that were decorated with red rose flowers.

Even the walls were sprinkled with glitter and more art work had been imported to give it a more vintage and remarkable look.

Dim lighting, hanging lanterns, and aromatic candles that served as decorating tools also contributed in creating the right ambience for the occasion with the dim colored lightning provided by the lanterns and candles to compliment the glowing chandelier

The decorations were simple, yet spoke a lot of volume and elegance with a nod of tradition.

The Shark park really went all out for this year's finding ceremony because it was their Alpha's turn to find his mate.

Those that were not carried away by the beauty and glamour of the reception were watching the entertainment place in front of them as a group of people acted a play that was centered on the supremacy of the moon goddess.

While others followed her advice and went to take from the lazangya or steak provided for the feast.

like she had said, there was a lot of food provided and many things to do to take the mind of the people from the absence of the Alpha.

Even though the attention of the crowd has successfully been drawn to other engagements from the empty seat at the right hand side of the Alpha Mesh, Adams father.

There was still tension in the air as other Alphas that had been invited felt insulted that the Boy Alpha did not acknowledge their presence by coming to greet them.

Luna Oksana noticed the look on the Alpha of Blue Moon and Forest Pack, she also did not miss the way they exchanged looks and talked about it even though they used hushed words.

Alpha Mesh tried to pretend everything was alright and even ordered that big stakes and corn to be brought to the Alphas, bringing out his best wine also so that they did not feel so hurt by the action of the young Alpha.

He now normally carefree and does whatever he wanted whenever he feels at will, but one thing that was certain as that he still respected his parents enough not to leave them standing and embarrassed at such a meaningful gathering such as this.

Luna Oksana remembered the conversation she had together with her son the other night.

"Son, you will be twenty one in three days, I know you are ready to be an Alpha, please I beg you, don't do anything to jeopardize it for yourself"

"Mom why do you talk like that, more than anything I want to be an Alpha, what could I possibly do to jeopardize it"

After saying that, he raised his head to look at his mom who was looking at him with a skeptical look like he should not have said what he did.

"Sorry Ma, no offense to dad though he's a great Alpha"

"Haha yes my son, and he is a great Alpha only because he got a great Luna, I want you to get that too"

Understanding what his mother had said, he could only sigh.

"I know that ma"

"And I know you are aware that during this season you ought not to be physically engaged with any lady that is not your mate, it will really spoil everything for you"

She remembered the determined look in his eye when he said;

"I know I'll refrain from it all for now, I promise"

And so far he had been keeping that promise.

He did not seem to have any objection about finding his mate, even promising her that he would not fuck any lady at least until after the ceremony, so far, she thought he had been obedient because he did not sneak any lady into the Alpha house for two days or was she wrong?

She was even told by Lisa that he had been here in the morning, so what was the problem, where was he now?

Many thoughts crossed her mind as to why he did not make it there,

"Could he have been attacked?"

Omg her heart skipped a beat before recalling who she was thinking about, it was her son in question, the Future Alpha of this pack, no, he could not be attacked in this pack and be defeated.

"Cold feet?" No he is not just any ordinary man, he is the Alpha of Alphas, and he wants to be Alpha really bad, he would not have cold feet

"Party with friends? He really does live parties.

But all his friends were here, some even helped in the search for him.

When she could not come to a clear and favorable conclusion as to where her son was, she finally stood from her throne seat and set out to find him.

Thinking how useless all the guards were, they would definitely be eliminated and replaced by more compute net once since they could not secure the whereabouts of her son.

"Excuse me Alpha, I will just be back"

She excused the three Alphas her husband inclusive with a very warm smile on her face representing nothing that was in her heart.

"Where the hell is my son, your Alpha" she roared as soon as she stepped outside the Pack Castle Hall, hee aura very strong and weighing them down.

"We have the men in search for him everywhere ma, he would soon be found"

The head guard Azemoh immediately answered her to calm her down because he knew if the Luna loses control and make a mess in the place, he would be at the receiving end of the repercussion

Her heart was beating fast, she started walking without thinking of the direction of where she was going.

She walked a good mile away from the hall before she started telling the guards her mind.

Just when she was still roaring, they heard a loud thud and it appeared to be coming from the garden.

The Luna did not care that she was wearing high heels or the fancy Luna robe, she had a feeling that it had something to do with her son, immediately she followed the direction of the sound.

Indeed it lead them to the garden,

The Omega who was in charge of guarding the garden gates also heard the cry coming from the back of the garden.

He did not know what the sound was, but before he could find out, he saw Luna running together with some guards and soldiers with her. They must have heard the sound too.

"Good evening Luna"

He tried to acknowledge her presence but she was not in the mood to stay back and tend to the greetings of the mare servant, right now she only cared about her son.

"Where is my son, where is your Alpha; is he in the garden?

" I… I. am not sure , I was here all night"

He stammered lost at words to say, he had been at the gate all night and had not come across the Alpha which was strange because he heard the sound just now, and it might be the Alpha so he did not want to implicate himself or the Alpha.

Luna Oksana shifted him and followed Azemoh into the garden.

She was surprised by the sight she saw before her.
