Chapter 7: Alpha Would Be My Mate
Just as preparations were going on in the Pack castle hall, and the Alpha house was accommodating a lot of guests who had come for the occasion, Lora was also not left behind.
She was busy making her own preparations too.
Ever since she was young, she had set her eyes and mind on very high goals and she had been getting what she wanted so far, her father the Beta made sure of that. But this time, her father couldn't help her
As much as she appreciated the efforts of her parents, there was so little they could do, now that she had already turned eighteen years old a year ago, she knew it was time to grow up and take matters into her own hand.
"Lora aren't you excited for the Finding ceremony, I heard that so many Alpha blooded wolves would be in attendance today, Can't wait to finally meet my Prince Charming too"
Khalistan her friend said with dreamy eyes as she fantasies being mates to an Alpha blooded Wolf as a mate.
Lora just looked at her with indifference in her expression.
She wanted to portray it to her and everyone that she did not care about finding a mate and was not affected by it.
After all, she was eighteen years old a year ago and should have found her mate by now already.
For a while year had she waited on the moon goddess to pair her up with her Alpha but it never happened.
It seemed to her that maybe this moon goddess did not exist and she would have to take matters into her own hands if she must not stay lonely forever.
It would be a pathetic thing for her to end up spending the rest of her life lonely and desolate, her parents may be okay with that, everybody who cared about her was okay with that too, they kept saying the goddess knows best, but she was not okay with it.
She cringed and her body shivered sending goosebumps to her body when she just envisioned herself with grey hair and tartary cloth living in a lonely hut if it happened that she ended up to be one of the unlucky people who did not get to find mates in their life time.
Khalister finally stopped talking about her charming Alpha when she noticed the mood of her friend who had attended two finding ceremonies already and at the end came back with just her shoes on her hand, nothing to show for it.
She stood from the bed and went to comfort her.
"Lora, I am sure you will get a mate this time, l have a feeling the goddess would not be so cruel to refuse you mate for three years, who knows, she might be saving you for a certain Alpha"
She said the last part and winked to her friend.
Since she was very close to Lora, she knows how she doted on him.
To the rest of the people, Lora might just be catching cruise with the Alpha by being his duck buddy.
But in reality, Khalister knew that Lora had feelings for him and secretly hope that one day his feeling for her would change, not only would he see her as a sex object or friend but someone worthy of being his life partner.
A warm smile made its way to the mouth of Lora exposing her thirty two white teeth. She was really happy with what she had said just now.
"Yeah, I also think the Alpha would be mated with me, why else would I miss the two year, of cause I was waiting for him to reach the rightful mating age for an Alpha"
"Yeah you girl"
The two ladies laughed out of excitement and shook their hands.
"So are you sure you don't wanna go to the saloon with me, you know you wanna look good when the Alpha acknowledges you as his mate right?"
"Yeah I am sure, don't worry, I have already booked a home service so I might end up going late for the ceremony, don't wait for me."
Said Lora waving her hand to show that she did not take it as a big deal.
Khalister wanted to paster her, but in the end, she only bowed and excused herself.
"Whatever you say my Luna, I am sure you know what's best"
Lora laughed at the playful behavior of her friend before waving her bye.
She quickly dismissed her friend because she knew exactly what was best for her.
She quickly took a quick bath in Lilies scented water which happened to corporate with her scent and then put on the new lacy lingerie she had bought for this particular reason.
She applied a lot of beautiful scented perfume and even applied some stimulating oil on her body.
When she was done, she took a long kimono, covered her body and headed out.
"Dad, I am going to the salon to get my hair done, don't wait for me, you and mom should just go to the hall."
After clearing with her family, she sets off for her journey.
But instead of following the road that led to the saloon or the one that led to the Castle Pack hall, she headed for the Old Alpha House.
Originally the Alpha family lived in the house before they moved out to the new one which was very close to it, now only some homeless omegas stay there, and right now, they are all occupied with the ceremony, everyone is.
No one really knows why they moved out or why the new one was built very close to the old one, but Lora was going to use it for her own advantage.
Once she entered the room that used to be Alpha Adams's, the decorations that she had earlier put in place were still in order.
She took out a stimulating potion she got from the medicine man and sprayed it in the room.
She took out the expensive wine bottle and emptied it into two glass wine cups that sat on the stool by the corner.
She proceeded to light up the aromatic candles to add more glow, light and good scent.
To crown it up, she took off her kimono before proceeding to sit at the king size bed with white sheets spread and a pastel of roses so that she sat in the middle of it.
Once again, she took out the portion spray, only when she was satisfied with the arrangements did she pick up her phone and send him a message.
"I need you Alpha, am in trouble, come and save me at the old Alpha pack house"
