Where am I?

Somewhere deep in the heart of a forest, a child stood near the edge of the lake, holding a fishing rod made from a slender branch with his small hand. The boy wore a green shirt and pants, which matched his hair color. His knee-high brown boots slightly dug into the muddy ground as he threw the fishing line into the water, causing ripples to spread on the pond's surface.

Yes, as you might have guessed, that cute little handsome boy is yours truly. I am 4 years old, and it has been a week since I became self-aware of my pervious life. The theory I came up with is that my brain was not developed enough to handle all the past memories.

Dragon Ball is an extremely dangerous world. So, the moment I remembered everything, I made all sorts of plans to help me get stronger. My first thought was to find out which year I was born in. Knowing this would help me plan and take advantage of future knowledge. Second, I planned to train with Master Roshi and become a skilled fighter. Maybe, I would even become one of the Z Fighters. I mean, who wouldn't want to fight side by side with their childhood hero? But the moment I set foot outside, I couldn't help but curse my luck.

'No matter how much I see, I still can't get used this orange sky.' I couldn't help but smile wirily at my current situation as I stared at the foreign sky. As you can see, I have no clue where the fuck I am? This is anywhere but Earth.

Luckily, I am still humanoid and look the same as Earthlings, and most importantly this race is incredibly special because of their racial ability. I have been in this world for 7 days, but I did not waste it at all. After I became self-aware of my previous life, the first thing I could feel around me was some sort of energy that was within everything, which I assumed to be Ki. Me, Animals, Plants, and even water, everything you could think of contained some level of Ki.

I could feel the Ki inside me as well, but it could not utilize it properly. So other than interacting with people this body knew and looking at the gamer system, I spent most of my time meditating. Knowing some of the strongest people in the verse mediate, it didn't hurt to try it. And guess what? I sure am glad I tried it.

"Status" Once I mutter this, I see a holographic panel Infront of me.

Gamer's Body and Mind. These skills are very useful as they let me live in the real world like a game and gives me immunity to mental disorder, while observe allows me to see target's information if they are not 100 levels above you.

One of the interesting things I found besides my name being Sirius is the Evolved right eye. Every Cerealian seemed to possess this ability, which basically makes them natural born hunters. I pull up my skills section and tap the into the 'Evolved right eye' mentally to see details.

[Evolved right eye – Lvl 3/50]

[This ability allows the user to see targets from a far distance, their blood flow, and muscle movement. The higher the level, the stronger these ocular abilities become, making it easier to identify the weak points of stronger foes.

I wonder if the Cerealians were ever introduced in the Dragon Ball series. This ability makes them formidable foes, especially if they have trained their evolved right eye to a high degree. I only watched the anime, so perhaps they might have appeared in the manga.

Honestly, I would have really liked to be born on Earth so I could use future knowledge to my advantage, rather than Cerealian, who may just be fated for extinction, no matter. Being a Cerealian still gives me the potential to become more stronger, maybe even more than a Saiyan. Who knows?

Next, I shift my attention to the skill I have been focusing on the most.

[Mediation – Lvl 6/100]

[An ability that Increases Ki control and reduce ki consumption.

Effect: 3% reduction in Ki consumption.]

As I was lost in deep thought, my fishing rod, which had been quiet for a while, suddenly bent sharply towards the lake. Without wasting any time, I poured all my energy into pulling the rod upwards. This struggle lasted for 30 seconds until the fish couldn't hold on any longer and was pulled up high on the surface, straining my small hands against the force in process.

Jawox, A hypercarnivorous fish, Lvl 3

Now that I see it properly, this thing sure is ugly. It had a brown rough scale with marble sized white eyes which did not match its size. The fish was enormous, about 14 meters long. If I were to compare it to something back on Earth, it was roughly the size of a bus. "Looks like I'll have a feast tonight," I grinned. I went fishing 4 times since I went fishing and this is my biggest catch yet.

As it fell towards me, its exposed its bony sharp teeth, a clear sign of warning. But this wasn't enough to make me back down. As the distance between us closed, I tightened my legs and jumped upwards with my clenched fist. "Haaahhhhhhh!" Green Ki surrounded my fist, and the moment I reached my target, I punched it with all my might on its head, sending it flying back into the lake. "Boooffff!"

30 Exp!

"Easy Exp is always welcome," I smiled, seeing that I was getting closer to level 7.

Once I landed on the ground, a brief shower of rain fell for a few seconds. The fish then slowly floated upwards, revealing its lifeless body. I wiped my drool just thinking about the way I will cook this fish.

 - Short time skip -

The sun in the sky slowly began to descend, signifying the sun set. I stood up and took a last bite of the fish as I extinguished the fire with a satisfied smile. Seeing as it was the night was about to come, I made my way back home. By home, I meant the orphanage. In this life, I had no family. When I asked the caretaker about this, they told me I was left alone in the basket Infront of the orphanage in the middle of the rainy night. Frankly, I liked this situation. No one would really want to call someone you barely know Mother or Father.

Soon enough, the city where I live, called Frugra, came into view. It is not far from my usual fishing spot, as I can see the city after a 15-minute walk. Tall, unique buildings, with flying cars hovering above, gave the city a futuristic vibe. Once I entered the city, I made my way back to the orphanage. It is a three stories high building with a playground in front of it. In the middle of the playground, there is a small fountain. There were Kids around or below my age playing in the playground with Sister Martha, a caretaker watching over them.

She is a young woman who appears to be around 25 years old. She has wavy, short green hair and wears a light pink long-sleeved shirt with beige shorts. Over her long-sleeved shirt, she wears a brown apron, which highlights her kind and warm face.

When I was about to go to my room, she caught sight of me.

"Sirius, you are in such a mess. Look, you are all wet." She pouts as she sees my state.

I glanced down at my drenched clothes and said nervously "Haha, it won't happen again."

"Go take a hot shower to warm up, or you want me to help you?"

"No thanks." Seeing her innocent face, I immediately refused her offer to avoid taking advantage of her. I am still an adult mentally.

She ruffled my hair with a smile and patted my back. "Don't be shy. Go get yourself warmed up. Oh, also the dinner will be ready in one hour."

"Thanks, but it's okay Sister Martha, I already ate." I waved my hand at her and made my way into my room on the second floor. Sliding the door to open, I enter my room. It was nothing too crazy. Just a single bed with sofa, TV and a bathroom.

I took my clothes off and stepped into the shower, letting the warm water wash over me. After a few minutes of relaxation, I came out, put on new clothes, and threw the old ones in the washing machine.

Looking outside the window, the moonlight shone on my face as I stared at the bright beautiful moon. The short period of time I have been in this world, the big fish is only thing I fought. It has not given me any challenges. 'I need to fight something stronger to get more fighting experience.' I mentally noted before I sat on the floor and fell into a deep meditation.
