The Doomsday (Part 1)

Zootopia is in great peril as the diabolical megalomaniac Zack Wolfward is just one step away from unleashing downright chaos upon the city with the groundbreaking bio weapon. He reached the skyscraper with Commander Ravendoom and now they are awaiting the dropship carrying the bio weapon itself.

Commander Ravendoom: Finally! We've reached the point of no return!

Zack: What an admirable view....

Commander Ravendoom: Yeah....enjoy it while you can. Those animals down there have no clue about what's waiting for them.

Zack: They will soon find out. There's no denying that this was the home of the Odynhood Empire once. This city is nearly indistinguishable from Gryphonia.

Commander Ravendoom: We built Gryphonia by using the same architecture. It's no wonder why it is akin to Zootopia.

Zack: Except Gryphonia is a much darker place than this.

A huge dropship carrying the bio weapon arrives at the top of the skyscraper...

Zack: There it is! It's time! We got this far, we cannot fall back.

Commander Ravendoom: You made a resolution to help the Odynhood Empire regain control of this city after all.

The dropship lowers The Doominator and gently drops it in one place. The Doominator is a giant weapon with the shape of a dish, which is pointed right into the sky.

Zack: It's majestic! Let's see what it can really do!

Zack contacts the HQ of Onyx Technologies....

Zack: This is Wolfward to HQ, The Doominator is all set! What's the status?

Onyx HQ: The connection between our HQ and the Doominator has been successfully established! We are activating the shields now!

Zack: Perfect! Now we can begin with creating a barrier around the city!!! Let there be no escapees!

Onyx HQ: Activating landscape lockdown.....

The Doominator fires a bright red ray up in the sky and a barrier of deadly energy spreads over Zootopia. It engulfs it entirely and now there's no way out or in. The mammals start panicking all around the city as they see nothing but a red barrier up in the sky covering the city. The traffic is halted. Everyone gets out of their cars to observe the sky. The ZPD starts receiving dozens of calls and the ZDF is stuck right outside of the city. The convoy of armed vehicles including tanks stop right outside the barrier. They are unable to get in, some of them risk it and head straight into the barrier. Upon touching the barrier, their vehicles instantly disintegrate along with their passengers which results in instant death.

Commander Ravendoom: That impassable barrier will keep all of our enemies at bay!

Zack tries to get in touch with Brutus but he cannot be reached....

Zack: I've lost contact with Brutus. I hope his part of the mission was successful....

Commander Ravendoom: That's not a good sign. If they brought him to his knees, then this operation can be easily compromised by the ZPD. We must not fail now!

Zack: Then what are we waiting for? Let's begin with the great purge! That order is in your hands....

Commander Ravendoom speaks to the HQ of Onyx Technologies....

Commander Ravendoom: This is Commander Ravendoom, you may proceed with releasing the virus!

Onyx HQ: Sir, The Doominator must be fully charged in order to perform this operation! The estimated charge time is 60 minutes!

Zack: Wait, what?

Commander Ravendoom: 60 minutes?! There was no word about this charging thing at our briefing!

Professor Gyzmoo connects to the radio....

Professor Gyzmoo: This is a little oversight on my end commander. I should have informed you about this beforehand. The Doominator needs approximately an hour to fully charge itself so it can function properly during the virus discharge. But don't worry, the barrier around the city remains active while it charges.

Zack: Is there anything else we don't know about?

Professor Gyzmoo: This is less than important for you to know but The Doominator cannot be damaged or disabled by any means.

Commander Ravendoom: Just keep monitoring the weapon! We must succeed! The whole empire is counting on us!

The Doominator has begun charging in order to have all the power necessary to unleash the deadly virus.

- Back at the ZPD –

Chief Bogo and the entire police force are already aware of the barrier and the panicking mammals in the city. He assembled all of his men in the hall of the ZPD. He is planning to deliver a serious speech about the recent events. About one hundred officers are standing in front of him, ready to see their chief make an official statement.

Chief Bogo: I would like to address you, my dear colleagues and friends who fought bravely against this unforeseen extreme attack on our station. The result of this attack was highly dependent on your undeviating perseverance thanks to which we managed to repel this attack in spite of our technological disadvantage and losses. I have sent out a distress call to the ZDF and we have tried to get in touch with them but our communications have been interrupted and jammed by an unknown source. It must be that barrier that's covering our city. All communications are blocked. So, for now, we are on our own! We are what stands between Zootopia's future and its ultimate destruction. The fate of this city rests on our shoulders! We've always been here serving for the citizens, maintaining justice and order! You know, the little things. Every one of us is ten times better trained and skilled in every way compared to those terrorist hellhounds who are out here to cause devastation and slaughter innocent lives! Today, the ZPD will face its single biggest adversary it ever had to deal with. Now, I don't want to sound pessimistic, but this may be my last speech and we might not survive this great turmoil. But we will fight to the end, or die trying! Current objectives are the following: Secure the perimeter around the station, make it safe, and make it a stronghold. Objective two! Terminate any terrorist bastard that you stumble across! Next! Evacuate as many civilians as possible to this station or other shelters! Lastly, dish out everything you've got! Make sure all of your efforts are worth everything we fight for. We may be lesser equipped than our military, but we won't be sitting on our asses in our offices trembling in fear waiting for rescue because of this! We ARE the rescue! We will rise as champions or die as heroes who fought for their city! For their nation! None of you will be scared to fight the enemy! You were not trained to fail! You were trained to fight for our civilians and justice itself! They are going to face dire consequences! Our retribution begins with the raid on their base Onyx Technologies! We are going to use everything we've got to save our city! Do NOT bother apprehending these terrorists when you come face to face with them! We have enough on our plates already! We will strike back, and when we do we strike HARD WITH MIGHT AND MAIN! HOORAH!!!

Every officer at once: HOORAH!!!

After Bogo finished his speech, his officers began preparing for their biggest challenge yet. Due to the city being under lockdown, the only defenses and hope that Zootopia has left is the ZPD itself and perhaps one more mammal who has fallen.....

- Onyx Technologies –

It's been an hour since Blake got saved by Zack's forces on the Memorial Bridge of Zootopia. He was rushed into the medical sector of Onyx Technologies. He is in one of the emergency rooms in a critical state and it looks like it is too late for the doctors to save his life. He is irresponsive and his pulse is feeble. In the meantime, Regina recovered from her injuries after her confrontation with Zack. She came in to help the docs save Blake.

Regina: Blake! What did they do to him?

Doctor: His intestines are badly impaired and he suffered a heavy blood loss. We are trying to keep him alive but we are.....losing him....

Regina: It cannot be....

Regina comes closer to Blake. Her eyes slowly survey his injuries and she begins to contemplate a not so great idea. But it is what stands between his death and life.

Regina: I'll save you....if you can hear me...I hope you'll forgive me for what I am about to do....

She grieves over his dying body when he takes his last breath....

Doctor: Oh no.....

Regina steps back from him with tears in her eyes....

Regina: I have to do this....

Doctor: Miss Quinn.....what do you mean?

Regina: Do not touch him.....just.....stay away from him!

She exits the emergency room and goes back to her room. She pulls out a briefcase from under her bed. She opens it and grabs two UZI submachine guns.

Regina: C'mon you crazy girl, you can do this.....

She hides them in her lab coat and leaves her room. Her goal is putting her at a great risk. She reaches a place where the vaccine called Reinvigorator is held. It is being kept in a room with a couple of Onyx guards and security cameras. She walks in the room nervously and encounters Professor Gyzmoo doing a checkup on the vaccine. He is hovering in the air on his personal drone.

Professor Gyzmoo: Finally! I can confirm the Reinvigorator is serviceable. Emperor Odynhood's grand return is near! What brings you here Regina?

Regina: Oh....I just...came to say goodbye Gyz. I am leaving for good. I was suspended don't you remember?!

Professor Gyzmoo: You really want to leave Onyx Technologies while Operation Thunderbolt is being executed? Chief Wolfward has given you a second chance. Be warned, you won't cling onto life out there for too long.

Regina: I'll find a way.

Professor Gyzmoo: You think you're one of the clones that are immune to the virus?

Regina: That vaccine right there, have you thought about making more of those? What is it?! What does it do?

Professor Gyzmoo: This? It is made for Neyla's father, who has fallen in the battle for Zootopia about 50 years ago. Developing such a vaccine is extremely laborious. There was only one made thus far. The ingredients of this vaccine are atypical and very hard to find. Upon injecting someone with this vaccine, the subject becomes partially immortal, it completely changes the cells in the body and forces them to regenerate whenever damage is inflicted on the subject's body. That makes all wounds heal within seconds. The subject will also no longer feel pain. This extremely rare vaccine is capable of resurrecting dead subjects too but only if their death is recent and their body hasn't decomposed. This creation right here has been brought into existence by the ingenious Gyzmoo!!! It's what I invented! I was always the only one here with prodigious ideas! Nobody can compete with me and my intellect hahaha!!!! The best perk it has to offer is immortality even if it is just partial.

Regina: Partial? Could you provide any more details?

Professor Gyzmoo: Everything that comes with advantages may have its disadvantages as well. Explosives will serve you well against subjects affected by this vaccine....and I think I just spilled the beans! I should have kept my mouth shut tight about this vaccine....

Regina: It's your boastfulness that gives you that irresistible need to talk about your achievements and these inventions. Thank you for the information! You couldn't have been more useful!

She pulls out her UZI submachine guns and mows down the guards around Gyzmoo.

Professor Gyzmoo: Oh darling! I knew it! I knew it all along that you would try to do something so thoughtless and foolish!

Regina: Don't act like you know me more than anyone else!

Professor Gyzmoo: Just take the vaccine, if you must. Using the vaccine will not suffice, not when it comes to surviving Operation Thunderbolt young lady!

Regina: I am not using that on myself.

She grabs the vaccine and starts walking away from Gyzmoo with it.

Professor Gyzmoo: You are gonna walk away just like that?

Gyzmoo pushes a button on his hovercraft and the door of the room closes and locks in front of Regina's face....

Professor Gyzmoo: I serve my master and I promised not to fail him. I cannot let you walk away with that vaccine! Do you have at least a snippet of an idea how crucially important that thing is that you're holding in your hand?

Regina: You all only care about exploiting it!

Professor Gyzmoo: I am NOT gonna squander this chance to paralyze or even kill you to retrieve the vaccine from you!

Regina: You wanna kill me? Be my guest! What can a small weak rodent do?

Professor Gyzmoo: I may not look menacing but instead of terminating you personally I will let my trusty hovercraft do the dirty work!

Gyzmoo grabs the control levers on his hovercraft and fires a couple of electric bolts at Regina who rolls to cover behind a table.

Regina: It's a big shame you're working for the wrong people Gyzmoo! They are using the technology you invented for the wrong purposes! Your research could have been admired by many Zootopians if you used it for something worthwhile and beneficial, like for their well-being!

Professor Gyzmoo: Nonsense! I never got the recognition I deserved among the Zootopians! My research and technology could have helped the Zootopians a lot but it seems like they show no interest in my work of considerable merit.

Regina: And you think you'll get what you deserve from the Odynhood Empire? You think they will courteously reward you for your hard efforts and work you made here and accept you as their supreme scientist?

Professor Gyzmoo: It's not about becoming the supreme scientist. It's all about my research that I want to deliver to the right community. I found out that the Odynhood Empire and its inhabitants are the only ones who are entitled to make good use of it. If Zootopia's government doesn't permit me to propose my ideas and creations, then it will be the Odynhood Empire where I shall instigate a demonstration of them in front of millions of people!

Regina: Gyzmoo! The Gryphonians will not bring out the best in you!

Professor Gyzmoo: That's enough!

Gyzmoo fires even more electric bolts at Regina, she crawls under the tables and hides from his sight.

Professor Gyzmoo: You want to play some hide and seek? I ain't got time for this! I expected you to show off and do some badass sick moves!

She emerges from cover right behind Gyzmoo and throws a chair at him. He gets knocked off the hovercraft and plummets to the ground.

Professor Gyzmoo: I should have expected the unexpected!

Regina: Please don't make me use my guns against you and trust me, you will not be renowned for your excellent intellect and research in Gryphonia. Please stop trying to kill me! We really don't have to do this.

Professor Gyzmoo: Are you really gonna set your face against a whole organization and empire? Regina....this is a top grade treachery!

Regina: I grew up in Zootopia! It's my home and I will try my best to defend it against barbarous people!

Professor Gyzmoo: Why? Why do you need that vaccine so badly? I spent years on developing it! Neyla's father needs it more than anyone else in this city!!!

Regina: Blake...Blake passed away.....I can't let him out of my mind....I have to save him while I can. Please Gyzmoo! I am begging you! Let me go! This is the only way I can bring him back....

Professor Gyzmoo: You put your life in danger so many times before and now you did it again just to save someone you find very important in your life. You love him, don't you?

Regina: It's hard to describe my feelings right now but I can say I really do care about him. If only you knew what love means or how it feels like to be loved and wanted.

Professor Gyzmoo: That's something I once felt in my early life....

Regina: Do what you think is rightful Gyzmoo.....

Professor Gyzmoo: You had so many chances to shoot me with your guns but you haven't used them against me. Why?!

Regina: Because I don't want to kill the greatest scientist I know...

Professor Gyzmoo: That was deep....

Regina drops down to her knees in front of Gyzmoo and tries to bring him to the light side of life....

Regina: I'm so sorry about this Gyzmoo....forgive me for turning against you, I was never a good friend to you. Please Gyz...it wasn't your fault back then. You've had your invented technology judged by the wrong party consisting of cynical mammals. That's just a small portion of the population of Zootopia. The other rest will undoubtedly support your ideas. Trust me. We are not like the Gryphonians. Don't work for the wrong organization, please! Millions of innocent lives depend on you right now...

Professor Gyzmoo: You.....you are telling the truth. My technology is being used for bad intentions. I never wanted them to use it for animal eradication.

Regina: It seems they have driven you crazy Gyz. You've forgotten who you once were. You can still become a successful scientist in our kingdom. It's never too late to make a change. I want to save Blake from death and make sure this city doesn't fall into evil hands. Just know that I've always admired your work Gyz....it's just a shame you're working for the wrong people. You can do so much more at our side.... They will only bring out the worst in you. Look for the right audience, someone who will bring out the best in you.

A bunch of Onyx guards arrive at the closed door. They're unable to get in...

Onyx Guard: Professor, is everything okay? We have identified a security lockdown in this area. We will breach the door if you don't respond back!

Regina: Please....don't let them take me....

Professor Gyzmoo: Sentimentality has always been my weak point. I'm not gonna let them touch you. You are right with everything. I realized I've presented my works to the wrong portion of people back then. Maybe I can still change Zootopia, in a good way.

Regina: Admit it Gyz, you never really wanted to work for this organization...

Professor Gyzmoo: I had no other choice. Take the vaccine and move out of the way. I'll deal with the guards...

Regina picks up the vaccine and steps aside while Gyzmoo pushes a button and activates a swarm of drones made specifically for his own defense. The drones fly out from the ceiling. A special hovercraft lands next to Gyzmoo, letting him get aboard. He pushes a button on it and the security lockdown gets disengaged. The door opens and a bunch of Onyx guards barge in.

Professor Gyzmoo: Take cover Regina!

Regina gets to cover while Gyzmoo puts his drone squadron into offensive mode. They all target the Onyx guards and start firing at them. They all get terminated in brief seconds...

Regina: You did it!

Professor Gyzmoo: Regina, you made me realize that I was barking up the wrong tree all this time. It's all my fault. I shouldn't have developed the Doominator for them. Look what I've made. I've endangered this animal kingdom.

Regina: You know they forced you to do this. I saw you during your work. You weren't enthusiastic and happy about your biggest creation that you call the Doominator.

Professor Gyzmoo: True that. I did this for the recognition and Zack's approval but the truth is I never felt any satisfaction from inside. Well, time to make a change. How about we go and render the Doominator inoperative?

Regina: That sounds absolutely brilliant! But first things first, please tell me this will bring back Blake to life....

Professor Gyzmoo: I took a sample of it and analyzed it. The results were positive. It should be able to bring him back. Now hurry up, more Onyx guards will be here soon! You know how to apply it right?

Regina: I got a medical degree Gyz....

Professor Gyzmoo: Good, I can't believe I am doing this....Empress Odynhood will be unbelievably furious!

Regina: She is the last thing we should worry about....

Regina heads out from the room carefully and rushes back to the emergency room where Blake is. She points the guns at the docs....

Regina: You! Step back! Get outta here right now!

Doctor: Just take it easy! We're leaving!

The docs leave the emergency room and Regina quickly approaches Blake's body. She grabs the vaccine and administers it.

Regina: Please.....work.....

A minute passes and the effects of the vaccine haven't kicked in. This makes Regina feel despondent....

Regina: It's not working....he's...gone....

She sits down on the floor leaned against a wall and starts sobbing....

Regina: I couldn't save him in time....

Then she hears a familiar voice....

Blake: You couldn't save who?

Regina stands up as she can barely believe her eyes....

Regina: YOU'RE ALIVE!!!!

Blake: Of course I am! What just happened? What am I doing here? I remember being on a bridge with Jack....

Regina: That rodent is a natural born genius! Blake.....you died. I brought you back to life....

Blake: Nonsense! How is that even possible?!

Blake sits on the bed....

Regina: Remember that vaccine that was strictly made for Neyla's father?

Blake: You used that to revive me?!

Regina: Yes....how.....how do you feel?

Blake: I feel....rejuvenated. It's like being reborn. Why would you do that? And are those tears in your eyes?!

Regina: Because you mean so much to me. I know we just met but there's something special in you I can't really seem to explain....

Blake: I am asking you because....

Blake stands up without any signs of difficulties nor pain....

Blake: Death is pointless. There was nothing. Just utter cold darkness, a black void. I thought I would reunite with my family....

Regina: You had this subjective belief that you would meet your family again after death?

Blake: Yes.....but like I said there was nothing. It was like floating in space, without any feelings or thoughts.

Regina comes close to Blake and hugs him strongly....

Regina: I am so happy you're alive!

Blake: And I am happy to have you this close to me. Nobody is gonna touch you when I am around. I swear it. Now, I have unfinished business. Where's Zack?!

Regina: Operation Thunderbolt has commenced. He is on top of Zootopia's tallest skyscraper, overseeing the course of the great purge. Blake, we have to stop him!

Blake: That's what I am trying to do, but the real question is, HOW? Let's hope it's not too late.

Shooting sounds are heard coming from outside the emergency room....

Blake: Okay, what's going on out there?

Regina: I think someone's already wiping out the bad guys for us....

Blake: I could really use a gun right now, you know? You got something?

Regina gives Blake one of her UZI submachine guns....

Blake: Where did you get these?

Regina: I had them hidden under my bed in case of an emergency....

Blake: Don't tell me you obtained that vaccine all by yourself....with the help of these bad boys.....

Regina: Kinda.....

A swarm of drones fly into the emergency room with Professor Gyzmoo on aboard his personal saucer....

Blake: Shit! Get to cover! I'll take them down!

Regina: Blake! Wait! He's on our side!

Professor Gyzmoo: That's right! It was me who helped Regina resurrect you, at a cost of losing my alliance with the Odynhood Empire. And oh my....my life saving creation worked! If it wasn't for Regina....or ...ME.....you'd be as dead as a herring!

Blake: Just so you know this wasn't my idea....

Professor Gyzmoo: Of course it wasn't! It was Regina's! You should have seen how devastated she was when you passed away....

Blake: Can you now all stop talking about dying or death in general? Now I know how it feels like to be dead. I prefer to be alive now.

Regina: Our world cannot lose a mammal like you Blake....

Blake: Do you have any idea what I did in the past? It's something inexcusable. This world doesn't need me anyway and why would you....revive me like this?

Regina: I.....I'll tell you when the right time comes okay?!

Blake: I hope it was for a good reason! Gyzmoo, how do we disable this doominator thing? And how in the hell are you in control of that drone squadron?

Professor Gyzmoo: Before we are able to disrupt the weapon, you must help me get to the HQ. It's gonna take a while to gain control over the Doominator.

Regina: Gyz, there are still the Onyx guards who can easily interrupt the process and eliminate us.

Blake: Not on my watch! They will learn fear and regret once they face me.

Regina: I believe Gyz's knowledge does not revolve around scientific research only, am I right Gyz?

Professor Gyzmoo: That's right! I will endeavor to hack all the drones in this facility by reprogramming their systems to make them hostile against the Onyx guards.

Blake: That's just what we need! We must cause as much damage as possible to this facility. Let's get to the HQ.

Regina: Guys! Wait! Zack promised me to escort my family to this building. Please tell me they're here somewhere....

Professor Gyzmoo: Why didn't I think about this sooner? Fear not, they're here safe and sound! If I am not mistaken, I've seen a pack of Onyx Guards take them to the holding cells.

Regina: Thank goodness!

Blake: He ain't such a monster like we all thought he was....he is just.....delusional and he needs to understand that the Odynhood Empire is manipulating with him. They are just using him to their own advantage.

Regina: Blake is speaking the truth. The Odynhood Empire always treated him unfairly. He is not a bad person....just misguided. Blake....can you fight your way to the HQ or you need my assistance?

Blake: Are you serious? I am a terminator. I'll get there under my own steam.

Professor Gyzmoo: You'll not get past the security doors without me. Reaching the HQ requires someone authorized, like me!

Regina: This is where we will separate. I had to get to my family. You two head to the HQ to attempt to deactivate the Doominator for good to save our home.

Blake: Fine. Gyzmoo, you are coming with me then. You may even bring your drone squadron if they come in handy. But Regina.....be careful okay?

Professor Gyzmoo: Once I hack all the drones, this whole facility will turn into a safe heaven. I know this girl more than you do Blake, I know she can resist and fight if her family is in danger.

Regina: I have to check up on them Blake. Family comes first.

Blake: I understand. We'll head to the HQ in the meantime. See you soon!

Regina: And Blake, try to not die again....

Professor Gyzmoo: Hah....that's not happening ever again, right?

Blake: I was expecting something encouraging from you but I'll try to survive at least.

Regina: When this is over, I'll take you to somewhere tranquil and gorgeous to tell you something important okay?

Blake: Looks I really do have a reason to stay alive....

Regina: Best of luck you two!

Regina leaves the room and the fox and the little rodent are left all alone in one room, accompanied by some friendly drones, of course.....

Professor Gyzmoo: Before we go, that vaccine made you partially immortal. A couple of ordinary bullets will not be enough to take you down Blake.

Blake: Good to know. So, you're telling me I don't even need any guns to defend myself. I can just use my bare hands to slaughter those assholes...

Professor Gyzmoo: Don't get so cocky. Too much damage can still neutralize you. Let me demonstrate the effects of the vaccine....

Blake: How in the bonny ass you want to demonstrate that?

Blake gets shot in his chest by one of the drones. He is struck with intense shock but he doesn't feel any pain at all. The wound slowly heals and disappears leaving only a bloody mark behind on his clothes....

Blake: You stupid rat! You shot me! Are you crazy?! I am trying to save this damn city and he frickin' shoots me. I put my damn trust in him and he shoots me!

Professor Gyzmoo: Did that hurt you? No, so kindly stop grumbling about it. Let that serve as a solid proof that you are perdurable, which means your body can withstand a certain amount of punishment from projectiles and cuts.

Blake: Good!!! I'm a demigod! Now I am truly aware of my new ability, smartass! You made a hole in my shirt! Was that really necessary?

Professor Gyzmoo: I did that for fulfillment purposes just to see that vaccine in action. That marks another momentous accomplishment in my scientific research! I'll be able to save so many lives with it.

Blake: Alright you mad scientist, let's get this job done. There's a whole city that needs to be saved. How do we get to the HQ without being overwhelmed?

Professor Gyzmoo: Use your durability to your advantage. But be smart about it. I'll be right behind you with the drones!

Blake: I see what you did there. You're gonna use my ass as your shield. That's not happening. You're flying ahead with those flying turds to clear the way to the HQ for me.

Professor Gyzmoo: These flying "turds'' will show you how impetuous they are. They do not negotiate. They just engage on my command and shoot till their target is eliminated.

Blake: Fine, smartass, I'll go first....

Professor Gyzmoo: Would you kindly stop calling me a smartass? You're being impertinent towards a little rodent with immeasurable intellect....

Blake: It's just like they say, if you want something to be done right, you gotta do it yourself....just get back to your lab, I'll do this on my own.

Professor Gyzmoo: We'll do this together as a team.

Blake: Let's end this madness once and for all!

Blake and Gyzmoo head to the HQ of Onyx Technologies. They run into many Onyx Guards on their way but Blake takes them all out with Gyzmoo's aid. Several minutes later of intense shooting and killing, the duo reaches the door leading to the HQ of the facility. Gyzmoo checks the security camera footage of the HQ.....

Professor Gyzmoo: There's too many of them inside. Let me handle this one. I'll send in my drone squadron...

Blake: NO! They're mine! Open the door....

Professor Gyzmoo: Go ahead Terminator....

Gyzmoo has complete access to all the rooms and sectors of Onyx Technologies. He presses a couple of buttons on his hoverboard and unlocks the main door leading to the HQ. Blake bursts in and begins shooting the unaware guards and officers with their own weapons that Blake picked up from the guards he killed earlier. Only a few of them are able to counter attack before they are put out of action. Less than a minute later, the HQ is clear and it's only Blake and Gyzmoo who are present in the room.....if we don't count all those dead guards and officers of course. The giant monitor shows the current status of The Doominator which is just about to be fully charged....

Blake: We're in. Gyzmoo, can you lockdown this whole place to prevent anyone from entering this room? And the security systems too....

Professor Gyzmoo: Sure, no sweat!

He approaches the main terminal where he can manage everything that is within the complex. He activates a heavy security lockdown of the HQ. The doors get locked and automatic turrets activate on the outside to protect the entrance. The security cameras also get shut down....

Meanwhile, at The Doominator...

Zack: It begins.....

Commander Ravendoom: It's charged! Now we can finally set the ball rolling!

The Doominator fires another ray of high energy directly into the clouds which turns them into forbidding killer clouds with a dark red color.....

Zack: At this point, there's no going back. Zootopia's destiny led its animals into inescapable chaos....

- Back at Onyx Technologies, the holding cells -

Regina reached the holding cells where her family is being kept. She takes out two Onyx guards patrolling the area. This is where she finally reunites with her family when she sees her dad, mom and her fifteen years old sister standing together in fear.

Regina: Mom! Dad! Sis! It's me!

Mr. Quinn: Regina?! Sweetie I am so happy to see you!

Mrs. Quinn: Darling! I thought we would never see you ever again!

Claire: Sister! I knew you'd come and save us!

Regina disables the electric barrier that's blocking the way out and into the cell.

Regina: I thought they left you at home to die....I haven't felt this strong relief a long while. Seeing my family alive and safe is all I needed during this hard time.

They all get out of the cell and hug each other...

Claire: You're the best sister in the world!

Mr. Quinn: Is that really a gun in your paw?

Regina: Yeah, dad. I need something to defend myself here or my family in general.

Mrs. Quinn: What are we going to do? There's something horrible going on outside....

Regina: The person whom I thought was my friend is behind this. It's Zack and his followers....

Mr. Quinn: He needs to be stopped before we'll be all doomed!

Mrs. Quinn: Do you have any plans?

Regina: We'll discuss this at the HQ.

Mr. Quinn: Darling, are you sure about this? This place is crawling with those dangerous guys.

Regina: Just stick together, I'll lead you all to the HQ. You'll be safe there. Follow me!

Claire: Sis....be careful....

Regina: Don't worry, I got this far all alone. I can take care of myself. We just gotta avoid all the Onyx guards and we'll be fine.

Regina leads her family out from the holding cells and they sneak past many of the Onyx guards. The security cameras have been all disabled by Gyzmoo himself before. So sneaking past the security systems is really a walk through heaven....

- At the HQ -

Professor Gyzmoo: Oh no....

Blake: What?!

Professor Gyzmoo: The Doominator.....it just fired another beam into the sky...

Blake: Which means?!

Professor Gyzmoo: Which means it's too late to stop the genocide. It reformed the water particles in the clouds. The beam it just fired into the sky just made the clouds metamorphose into deadly reddish clouds of high energy that will deal massive damage to the city with devastating thunderbolts! That's just the prelude to the main scenario. The second sequence will make the clouds unleash their virulent toxic gas that will progressively turn all the mammals into savage beasts just like it was proposed by the authorities from the Odynhood Empire. It's thanks to me why this is all real now and I regret it.

Blake: Why would you work for those evil freaks?!

Professor Gyzmoo: I know what went wrong. I was selfish and all I cared about is recognition and approval. It's something I never got from the Zootopians. I....I have never given them a second chance....nor a chance for myself to try again to see if they find my research and ideas impressive and innovative. I know I've improved a lot since then. I can still make things right I hope.

Blake: Everybody makes mistakes, but what really matters the most is what you'll do next. There has to be a way to stop it or at least diminish the undesirable effects of that virus.

Professor Gyzmoo: We can still curtail the process. I am the creator of the weapon after all. I know it more than anyone else on this planet. I got some bad news and good news. Which one do ya wanna hear first?

Blake: Just start with the good stuff...

Professor Gyzmoo: I can disable its shields to make it vulnerable to any kind of attack. This step is of paramount importance if we want to suppress the operation. And the bad news....The Doominator has already released the Onyxide virus into the clouds, there will be casualties and I can't really accurately determine the amount, but all I can say is that there will be many. This place will remain unaffected by the virus or The Doominator's devastating attacks hence the protective barrier that covers this whole complex.

Blake: For real? This is not happening....we must act quickly. How about the barrier? Disable it so the ZDF can get into the city!

Regina enters the HQ with her family interrupting the conversation between Blake and Gyzmoo.....

Professor Gyzmoo: Regina! You made it! Make yourself comfortable everyone! You'll be safe here!

Regina: Thanks Gyzmoo! You're so welcoming!

Blake: That look on your face, I feel that happiness in you. You deserve it....

Regina: Oh...yeah.....Blake.....meet my family....

Mr. Quinn: Blake? Blake Thunder?!

Blake: You got that right!

Mr. Quinn: They still haven't put a bullet in your head! Regina, why is this criminal here with us?! Give me your gun. I will make this world a better place by removing him from existence!

Regina: Dad! Take it easy! He is on our side!

Mr. Quinn: On our side? Is that a joke? He is one of Zootopia's most wanted criminals! Why should we trust him?

Blake: Ah shit, here we go again. I am in no mood to be dealing with someone who just wants to pick a quarrel with me due to my infamous name.

Mr. Quinn: I just don't want you to be near my family, that's all.

Blake: Whatever....

Regina: Dad, cut it out already.....

Blake: Gyz, that barrier....can you disable it? How come you cannot shut down the weapon from this control center? It would make things a lot easier...

Professor Gyzmoo: Sadly, The Doominator was designed to carry out this operation efficiently and we did not implement a feature in it that would allow us to force it shut down during the process. The barrier around the city however can be deactivated. But it will require some time to do so. These steps will only make the weapon vulnerable, they won't stop the process though so the only way to stop this operation is by destroying it with any kind of available weaponry. You'll have to travel to the top of the skyscraper to nip the Doominator in the bud and confront your friend while you are at it....

Blake: Why me?! There's the ZPD too. Zootopia's last hope, it's not me who is gonna save the day I am afraid....

Regina: Blake...listen. If it's not you, then nobody. The ZPD will not stand a chance against Wolfward's forces. You know their weakness, you know how to fight and most importantly, Wolfward can still be brought to the light side and there's only one person who can do that, it's you. His best friend. I doubt he will hurt you. You must go there yourself, you're the only one he is going to listen to. The lives of millions of animals depend on you.

Blake: I am telling you, whatever I will do, I will not be the savior of the day nor the hero of this kingdom. You see Regina, I can't simply become the hero of Zootopia because nobody trusts me, and they all see me as a bloodthirsty criminal doing some dirty work for money. I've done some really nasty stuff in the past during my journey to vengeance. Those dark deeds cannot be undone and let me assure YOU Mr. Quinn, I'm done with that life where killing was my sole job. I am no longer a threat and since I got nothing more to lose, I am willing to save this city but after this is over, nobody will ever see me again.

Regina's dad remains quiet after what just Blake said. Gyzmoo checks the hacked security cameras and sees a pack of Onyx clones approaching the entrance door of the HQ.

Professor Gyzmoo: You won't be leaving this place so soon it seems....give me a minute, I gotta override the security systems and hack the drones all around the facility to give you the most protection.

Blake: Then hurry up, I am a very impatient fox and it won't take too long before I take them all out myself. No drone intervention is needed.

Gyzmoo successfully hacked the drones in the facility and deployed the majority of them to wipe out the Onyx guards.....

Professor Gyzmoo: And done! Say hi to some friendly drones!

The Onyx guards get jumped by a swarm of hacked drones that mow them all down right in front of the entrance to the HQ.

Blake: Gyzmoo, whatever happened back when you tried to present your life-changing ideas and tech to the officials, this day will make them reconsider their opinions about your research.

Professor Gyzmoo: Thank you for the support. Now, prepare for departure Blake. There will be great havoc in the city. Getting to the skyscraper will be a helluva dangerous ride. Try not to get struck by lightning....

Blake: I carry the name Thunder. I have the power of the God of Thunder! I cannot be stopped by thunderbolts!

Professor Gyzmoo: Jokes aside, the ZPD just arrived!

Mrs. Quinn: Excellent! Now we are truly safe!

Blake: Let them in! They will protect you while I'll be gone.

Regina: But aren't those drones gonna attack them too?

Professor Gyzmoo: I've reprogrammed them. They will only attack the clones in the facility. Since each clone has a unique identification number, it was fairly easy to make them hostile towards the clones by adding their numbers into the drone target database. The entrance to the facility is now open.

Blake: Alright, there's no time to lose. I have to go now. Stay safe everyone.

Blake gears up by taking a couple of weapons from the ground and lots of ammo. He walks towards the HQ entrance....

Blake: You may open the door now Gyzmoo....

Gyzmoo disables the security lockdown and the door gets open. Behind the door there's nothing but a pile of dead bodies and some destroyed drones. More shooting sounds are heard from a far distance. Regina makes a tough decision and runs after Blake after shouting his name....

Blake: Regina?! Where are you going?!

Mr. Quinn: Regina! No! Come back! Where do you think you're going?!

Mrs. Quinn: It's too dangerous to be outside! Come back immediately Regina!

Claire: This is not a wise move sister! Don't go....please!

Regina: He needs me. I can feel it. I'll go with him just in case he ends up in big trouble....

Blake: Regina....you can get easily killed out there. I don't want to be responsible for you. Get back to your family. That's where you belong after all. You can't fight side by side with a zero....a nobody. It seems like you still haven't understood who I am and what I've done.

Regina: I know what you've done and guess what, it doesn't change anything. I know that sounds weird but it's impossible for me to treat you like a worthless animal or something just because of that past you keep running from. I just know that you didn't do that for your own pleasure. Someone took something precious from you and you were only trying to find the people responsible for that by cruel means, through blood and murder.

Blake: Regina, that's enough. You're going overboard.

Mr. Quinn: Regina get back in here or you'll seriously make me mad. When we get out of this mess and continue living a happy life, I am gonna keep you grounded for weeks!

Regina: Is that so? That was so childish dad, do I look like a kid? I have to help Blake with this task....

Blake: Your help is not needed. I can do this on my own. I thought your family is all that mattered.

Regina: It still does but since their safety is already assured and the ZPD is nearby, I can now go out there with you unconcerned.

Claire: Whatever you're about to do sis, just promise me you will come back so we can all rejoice at our reunion....

Regina: I promise....

Mr. Quinn: I am really not fond of this stupid idea but if it is what your instincts are telling you to do, then keep on following them.

Mrs. Quinn: This is a really heartbreaking moment for us sweetie, we'll pray for you to succeed.

Regina: I'll be back fam! Gyzmoo, make sure nobody gets through this door except the ZPD.

Professor Gyzmoo: You can count on me with this. Unfortunately, the system indicates a low drone activity around the facility. The Onyx Guards must've destroyed most of them already so this is gonna be yet another tough encounter for the ZPD. I won't be able to hold this place under lockdown for too long unless the ZPD gets in here just in time. I hope your paths cross on your way outside so you can inform them about our whereabouts. Be very careful out there. I'll try my best to disable the barrier that covers the entire city.

Gyzmoo activates the security lockdown once more and the door to the HQ closes and locks.

Blake: You're seriously out of your mind with despair Regina....

Regina: What? I am just trying to be helpful. Do you really hate companionship?

Blake: It's not that....let's just go.....

Blake starts walking with Regina in a long hallway....

Regina: If it's not about that, then what?

Blake: I don't want to lose someone I care about. That's not happening....I can't let that happen and now that you're on this mission with me, I got a reason to worry....

Regina: C'mon we're going to cover each other. Let's stop this madness once and for all!

Blake: Your dad is going to kill me if something happens to you.

Regina: About him....I am sorry about that. He can be pretty harsh sometimes.

Blake: It's alright! That's how everyone else would treat me if they came face to face with me. I've been living a pretty solitary life all the time due to my past related to criminality. I've been trying to stay away from public areas to avoid being exposed. But you.....you don't mind what I did and what everyone else thinks about me.

Regina: I'll tell you why when we this will be all over....

Blake: I hope you'll finally tell me why you are so different from others.

Blake and Regina reach the end of the hall. They get through another door with extreme caution. The door leads to the main hall of Onyx Technologies and it's a complete mess now. There are several destroyed drones and dead Onyx Guards. Blake and Regina see the ZPD investigate the area. The whole squad of the most proficient officers is here. Blake tells Regina to quickly hide behind a wall.

Regina: Okay, what now?

Blake: You go ahead and talk to them.

Regina: Why are you sending me to handle the talk?

Blake: Because they will shoot me on sight. I am the most wanted criminal in this city after all!

Regina: But you're nearly immortal! Go out there and negotiate with them! They might come to terms with our mission and let us go.

Blake: It's way too risky!

Chief Bogo: Stay frosty everyone! We are at our enemy's territory!

Nick: Chief, something's off.

Chief Bogo: I know.....I know....

Nick: Someone took out these dudes before our arrival....

Chief Bogo: Just pay heed to your surroundings and proceed further into the building!

Regina: Do it for me....

Blake: Okay you win....

Blake steps out from behind the wall and reveals himself....

Blake: Well, what's happening fellow officers?

Everyone turns to Blake.....

Nick: Blake?

Judy: It's him.....

Chief Bogo: Isn't it the most vicious criminal of Zootopia notorious for being a serial murderer?

Blake: That's me....

Chief Bogo: Nick told me about you and I am somewhat thankful for what you did.

Blake: Wait, you're not gonna shoot me or arrest me? I mean look outside, there's a city that needs to be saved and that's what my current mission is, to get to the skyscraper where the bio weapon is operating.

Loud rumbling sounds are heard from the outside accompanied by thunderbolts.....

Chief Bogo: Do you think I am gonna burden myself with you? Our city is being periodically struck by those lightning bolts! Some mammals have gone wild and there's nothing but downright terror and panic in our city. This is much worse than your atrocious acts! The mayor even declared a state of emergency!

Nick: Fun fact: It's the second state of emergency in Zootopia's history!

Judy: And on top of that, this operation they call Thunderbolt is supposed to wipe out the entirety of our kingdom. Oh and....who's that behind you?

Regina shows herself....

Regina: I am one of the employees of this organization, but don't you worry, I already bowed out of my job. I am now helping Blake get things right...

Judy: I see you're helping Blake. Many years have passed since the day he tried to assassinate me in Bunnyburrow. Blake, you may be on the way to justice but you'll never get my forgiveness. Never.

Nick: If it wasn't for me, she wouldn't be here with us today. I saved her bacon back then.

Blake: Okay, stop bringing up the past, both of you! I learned from it and now it's time to move on! Please let us leave. We need to get to the skyscraper urgently.

Chief Bogo: For once in my life I am gonna let you off the hook Thunder just for Zootopia's sake. So, Miss?

Regina: Quinn....

Chief Bogo: Miss Quinn.....so since you're one of the....former employees of this terroristic organization, I bet you're quite familiar with this place. Where's the command center?

Regina: You're reading my mind sir. I was about to tell you about it and inform you that there are civilians there that need your help. They're my family. We already secured the place but be on the lookout for more guards. Go past that door behind us and head through a long hallway before you reach a large door. That's your destination.

Chief Bogo: Understood. Thank you for the help. And YOU! Blake! Just....do your job and bug off before I stomp on your ass.

Blake: Anything else you'd like to say before I go? I mean this is probably the last time we see each other so....

Chief Bogo: Leave my city and don't you EVER come back!

Blake: Your wish will be fulfilled! Regina, let's go.

Regina: Wait a second, sir, why didn't you send police officers over to the skyscraper when our primary concern is that bio weapon itself?

Chief Bogo: You know, we actually split into two teams. I dispatched a second team to the skyscraper, but they never came back and we can't get in touch with them either so my guess is that someone must have killed them all. We are the only remaining officers outside our station. The rest stayed at our station to reinforce the building and protect any mammals seeking shelter.

Blake: Zack.....

Regina: Trust us chief, we'll get there and end this once and for all.

Chief Bogo: Just go on. I still don't think you're gonna make it.

Nick: Best of luck on your suicide mission!

Blake: So discouraging! Let's go Regina!

Blake and Regina leave the area.

Chief Bogo: Let's get going!

Before the ZPD squad is able to make one step, more Onyx guards appear, making the ZPD squad fall back and rush to the HQ. Meanwhile, Blake and Regina left the building. They see a huge thunderbolt hit a building in the distance which collapses. The sky is dark red resembling hell itself. The air is slowly being filled with toxic gas that is emitted from the sky. The residents are on the streets, panicking and searching for underground shelter. There are loud, screaming voices of mammals trying to save themselves and their families. All sorts of sirens are also heard screeching throughout the city. A number of mammals have been already infected by the virus and they've gone feral. Onyx Exterminator Teams have been dispatched deep into the city who are exterminating the animals one by one. The once peaceful and beautiful city has now become a warzone on the brink of absolute destruction.

Blake: I've never seen anything like this in my life before. Not even in movies!

Regina: God.....the mammals need to be evacuated! Gosh....this is worse than I thought!

Regina loses self-confidence in front of Blake....

Regina: This is too much for me.....I can't. Maybe I should have stayed with my family.....what am I doing. I can't do this, I am too weak and afraid to do this....

Blake: C'mon baby girl, you can't just give up now....

Regina: Look around us, do you think we can still save this city from destruction?

Blake: Of course I do. But we have to be quick. Don't lose your hope now. You can't go back to your family now. You must come with me if you want to survive. Look at me....

Regina stares into Blake's eyes anxiously.....

Blake: You are the most courageous and vigilant fox I've ever set my eyes on in my life. What's happening now is merely a small obstacle. Let's go show them who they're messing with.

Regina: Awww! Really?

Blake: Those were sincere words. And don't you worry about your family, they're safe. The ZPD is with them.

Regina: Those screams are giving me the creeps. Animals are being slaughtered in our city...

Blake: We need a ride....

Regina: How about we steal one of these police cars?

Blake: Brilliant idea!

Blake and Regina approach one of the ZPD cars....

Regina: They left their car open!

Blake: Are the keys in there too?

Regina looks through the window of the car.....

Regina: Yep!

Blake: Who the heck does that? Let me check the trunk real quick....

Blake opens the trunk of the car and sees a couple of weapons there, a ballistic west and a gas mask. He picks up some weapons and a lot of ammo from the trunk along with a gas mask.

Blake: You're gonna need this.

Regina: What? A gas mask?

Blake: I don't want you to turn savage...

Regina: I understand and I will put it on when it will be necessary. I don't think you're going to need one since you gained a robust immunity against all kinds of diseases and viruses.

Blake: That's what I thought. Let's go! The skyscraper where The Doominator is being used is quite far away. We'll have to take the highway to get there. It's the fastest shortcut I can think of.

Regina: You know this city better than me I suppose. You lead.

Regina jumps into the passenger seat while Blake slides over the hood to the driver's side and leaps into the car. He starts the car and launches down the road at full throttle, full speed with the cruiser's emergency lights on, siren blaring loudly.

Regina: Blake.....I think we just stole the wrong car.....

Blake: Why? What do you mean?

Regina shows a family picture of Chief Bogo.....

Blake: God protect us all....

10 minutes later, they reach the highway. The road ahead is completely blocked by cars and trucks surrounded by mammals observing the sky. Luckily, there is a vehicle transport with its ramp lowered.

Blake: Looks like we have a roadblock up ahead, see that vehicle transport truck? Watch this!

Regina: What? You're going to use it to pass the blockage? You'll wreck the car and kill us both! You're crazy!

Blake: You bet I am! So you better hold on!

Blake launches up and off the truck ramp, and lands on the other side of it by a long shot. Luckily, there was enough empty space for them to safely land without hitting anybody. The road ahead of them has much less blockage.

Regina: We made it! Phew....You're the craziest fox I've ever met! I can't believe the cruiser is still in one piece.

Blake: It's made for rough landings as you can see. It's a tough war machine.

Regina: It's as tough as Bogo himself....

Blake: We'll have to take the road to the right and pass that bridge to get there as soon as possible.

Regina: Good thinking. Geez, Zack's twisted mind and his actions will cause so many casualties.

Blake: I am gonna whop his ass so badly for this!

After taking several shortcuts and avoiding more roadblocks, Blake and Regina witness a red mist on the road blocking the whole view....

Blake: Great, now what? That's not just regular red smoke....

Regina: Oh no....that mist.....it's highly toxic. I think this is what turns mammals into savage beasts....

Blake: No shit. Look!

The duo witnesses a couple of mammals on the road fighting one another fiercely. There are two savage tigers and a black panther. They walk on all fours.

Regina: Oh my god! They behave exactly like feral animals! This is disgusting on another level....

Blake: It's just like in the prehistoric ages. Animals were all savage where predators hunted their prey. This goddamn virus is literally evoking their natural instincts and now look at this sad result....

Regina: It really bothers me how Zack allowed the Odynhood Empire get in his mind to fill it with misinformation and lies.

Blake: I am gonna make him come to his senses.

Regina: I hope, because there's barely any reasoning with him.

Blake: Put the gas mask on just in case the toxic gas gets in....

Regina puts on her gas mask and they enter the red mist which covers the whole view on the road making Blake face some difficulties driving....

Blake: Argh, it's damn near impossible to see anything!

Regina: Just....keep your eyes on the road....

Blake: I am trying!

Blake growls in anger and tries to focus on the road. They hear savage animals fight each other from both sides but after a few short minutes, they burst out of the enormous cloud of red, toxic smoke and a huge suspension bridge appears in front of them. It seems to be fairly intact, no cables or supports look damaged.

Regina: We're out of that devilish mist! Look! The bridge!

Blake: There's our shortcut!

Regina takes off her mask....

Regina: Geez it's kinda difficult to breathe with this mask.

Blake: Just don't forget to put it back on whenever we enter another one of those red mists.

There are a couple of abandoned cars on the bridge.....

Regina: More deserted cars? I am assuming the drivers got infected by the virus.

Blake: The mammals we saw earlier....I think we found the place they came from.

Regina: Hey Blake, I've been wondering...

Blake: What is it, Regina?

Regina: You never told me anything about your parents and your early life. I'm curious about what happened to them, what your story with them is. I know....this is some personal stuff but if you're in pain and you wanna ease that pain, it's good to open up to someone you trust and care about. Or....just forget it. It's not the best time for bringing up the past.

Regina said it all while staring into Blake's eyes. He breaks eye contact with Regina and looks forward again, trying to brush away the question, but Regina's innocent question just replays in his head over and over again. Eventually, he answers and unveils the truth behind his parents and family.

Blake: I had awful parents, they refused to keep me, and so I ended up in an adoption center. It was depressing. I spent some years of my life in an orphanage where I met Zack. But then I got adopted. We both got adopted actually. It's a shame we didn't get adopted together by the same parents. My adoptive parents were okay, but my dad used to yell at me a lot and he didn't treat me the best. Whenever I got a bad mark from school I got beaten up at home. That's it, that's my childhood. As for my biological parents, they never contacted me, Thunder isn't even my original surname...

Regina: Oh, that's just awful! Hearing this is just really extremely depressing...

Blake: Yeah... I was lucky to get a chance to be educated. I got... adequate grades in high school, so I could continue my education through to college. I've always dreamed about becoming a member of the armed forces of Zootopia so I got the chance to fulfill my dream when I was 17. I spent 6 months in the training camp not far from Zootopia where I got excellent results. I was among the youngest cadets to be enrolled in the armed forces back then. A year after being in service, I was only 18 when I met the love of my life, we got married, we had kids, and, I... I've- I've lost all of them in just a couple of seconds. I've suffered from mental illness, I was just so depressed all the time, thinking about whether I should just end my suffering or not. But somehow, I managed to keep just enough hope to keep going. But I've taken the toll, the death of my family brought me nothing but pain, rage, and an urge for revenge. Then I met Raphael, one of Zootopia's biggest criminal masterminds who offered me a financially rewarding job of a hitman and promised me that if I joined his clan, he would help me find the people responsible for killing my family. The hate that was in me and that job....they devoured my mortal soul and I just kept killing innocent mammals for money in pursuit of vengeance but little did I know that Raphael was the one who murdered my family. He was smart. He knew he could create an inducement for me to join the clan by killing my family. He knew I was a professional soldier with exceptional shooting and fighting skills and so he turned that to his own advantage.

Regina: So, that's why you became a hitman....

Blake: If my family was alive, I wouldn't feel the need to do such a dirty job.

Regina: I really wish this didn't happen to you. You deserve a much better and happier life Blake.

Blake: You think so? It's just that life hasn't been fair at all nor easy. You may think that shit is far behind me, but I am still suffering inside. I am flooded with pain and sorrow....

Regina: You know, life doesn't get easier, you just get stronger. That's why you never gave up ever since that unfortunate day. I know you can still find happiness in your life.

Blake: Well, to be honest, my happiness is you right now. Nothing else.

Regina: Wait...are you...serious?

Blake: I have a pure heart. I never lie.

Regina: That really touched my heart you know?

Blake: Maybe we can.....hang out when this apocalypse is over? That's if we survive it.....

Regina: Anytime, anywhere.

She softly touches Blake's shoulder with her paw to comfort him as they pass the midpoint of the bridge. Suddenly, a couple of thunderbolts hit one of the pylons of the bridge. Unfortunately enough, the strike badly damaged it and it started collapsing from behind their car.

Blake: There's no way a goddamn lightning bolt destroyed that pylon.

Regina: I am afraid it did. It's collapsing!

Blake: We need to make it off this bridge by any means necessary!

Regina: We're going to die!

Regina covers her eyes as Blake pushes the pedal to the metal pushing the car to its limits! The bridge is collapsing behind them like in a movie, making the road shake violently. The ZPD cruiser nearly spins out. However, because of Blake's exceptional driving skills and a small tap from an abandoned car, Blake manages to maintain course and keep the cruiser from falling off the bridge, though it's now skidding sideways. Blake manages to maintain the car steadily and they reach the end of the bridge. They stop on solid ground to catch their breath as the rest of the bridge crumbles behind them.

Regina: This is the craziest ride I've ever had in my life. Blake, I am driving next time. Hopefully under better circumstances.

Gunshots are heard nearby, followed by screams and an explosion.

Regina: Over there! That's our destination! The entrance to the skyscraper!

Blake: Some ZPD officers are still alive!

There are flashing lights from the ZPD cars. They are in a shootout against the Onyx Extermination Forces. Blake revs the car and they begin driving deeper into the city until they get into the combat area, towards the shootout in an attempt to aid the ZPD forces and defeat the Onyx Forces. They stop their vehicle amongst some smaller collapsed buildings, in a cloud of dust and suffocating smoke covering the entire area with flames everywhere. Breathing here without a filtered mask is nearly impossible.

Blake: C'mon, we need to get out of the car and get prepared!

Regina: Blake, I have a really bad feeling about this...

Blake grabs Regina's paw....

Blake: Look, Regina, I do too, but we didn't come here to just run away or retreat. Needless to say, you chose to come with me. There's no way back.

Regina: I have a feeling we're going to end up fighting death itself!

Blake: This city can still be saved, and it can be saved while we're still breathing. I have a strong faith in this city and everyone fighting for it. It won't go down in a pile of ashes, not if I can do anything about it. I may have been a ruthless hitman without any emotions before, but this city always had a special place in my heart. It's my home. So we will fight for it.

Regina: Sure we can still fight for it, but keep in mind that we can't win this, everyone's dead or dying, everything's destroyed or being destroyed, what's the point? It's much worse than I thought. This is not what I imagined when I decided to go with you. I am.....I am just....scared.....

Blake: It's worth trying than giving up and losing our home. You're not staying here alone. Come with me and fight for the future of this city. I will protect you. I will not let anyone hurt you, you understand?

Regina: Let's do this....

Blake and Regina grab their equipment and get out of the car, but suddenly everything goes silent....

Regina: The shootout, it stopped!

Blake: This silence might not be a good indication...

Blake and Regina head through a narrow passage, surrounded by debris and rubble. What they're about to see once they crest the mound of rubble will shock them like never before. They reach Zootopia's town square. The skyscraper can be entered from here. They scan the area with caution from their high ground, their weapons up and ready to be fired. But when they spot a mass of dead animals ranging from ZPD officers to innocent civilians, their mouths drop. There are only a few Onyx guards lying around dead. Blake and Regina run down the pile of rubble towards the battlefield.

Regina: I'm... I'm so speechless... how could this happen?!

Blake: My god....just look at this slaughter. These must be the officers from the other dispatch team Bogo sent here. My bad deeds are nothing compared to this. This is a mass genocide!

Regina: And the worst part of it is the fact that the army cannot even get in to assist us.

Blake: Look! There's the skyscraper! We're not far now! I really hope Gyzmoo manages to disable the barrier, most importantly the shield that protects the bio weapon. If we coordinate, we can come out on top! We can be victorious!

Regina: Exactly! And do you sense what I sense?

Blake: Yep, something's coming.....

More thundering noises are heard and a red mist starts to spread into the city centre from all sides accompanied by roaring sounds of infected savage animals...

Blake: SHIT! Put on your gas mask NOW!

Regina: This is NOT good!

Regina puts on her gas mask and she gets ready to dispatch any incoming attacks along with Blake....

Regina: Blake, are you sure you're gonna be fine once you breathe in that gas?

Blake: The vaccine you've injected me with wasn't just something petty and ordinary....

The red mist engulfs the whole place. It turns out it has no effect on Blake whatsoever and Regina is luckily protected by the gas mask.

Blake: This is some odorless gas. It feels like breathing some fresh air....

Regina: Well, it's probably because you are immune to it. Look at all the other animals and what it did to them. Oh no, here they come!

Blake: I really don't wanna kill any more animals. I had enough already!

Regina: I am afraid there's no other option.

A couple of wild animals consisting of predators like tigers, cougars attack the duo. Regina fires a couple of bullets that hit their targets with success while Blake tries to evade their attacks without shooting. He kicks away one predator while the other one pins him down on the ground trying to tear him apart....

Blake: Uh...Regina? I could use some help over here! Goddammit!!!

Regina: Blake why aren't you shooting?!

Regina shots the predator in its head and Blake pushes it aside....

Blake: Why? Because I'm done with killing animals. This makes me hate myself even more and feel even guiltier of my crimes from the past.

Regina: But Blake! They may look like civilized animals that speak and act like the rest of us, but their true self is not really there anymore. Their feelings, memories...all that....it's gone. They only want your flesh. You have to fight back!

Blake: History repeats itself, again....

Two more predators appear right behind Regina from the red mist...

Blake: Look out!

Blake quickly grabs Regina to protect her by moving her behind him while he exterminates the attacking predators by shooting them.

Regina: Where did these two come from?! And....thanks.

Blake: No problem. I told ya I would protect you. Too bad we can't see shit in this thick mist. This is how hell itself must look like.

Regina: It definitely has the looks of hell itself. I can see the skyscraper a bit from here. Let's make a run for it! We can't be here fighting off these savage animals forever.

Blake: True. Time to go! You're sticking close to me!

Blake grabs Regina's paw and they both start running throughout the red mist. They stop by a few structures after they hear shooting sounds once again. There are various statues and structures that provide great cover for the duo.

Blake: It's too dangerous to run to our destination. We'll have to clear the area so we can proceed further.

Regina: We better make it quick. Animals are dying out there every second that passes....

Blake peeks out from cover and scans the area thoroughly with his eyes. He sees an Onyx Exterminator Team marching down from some of the ruins. They are searching for infected animals to exterminate. They are dressed in what seems to be dark military uniforms, wearing a variety of headgear ranging from fully protective ballistic helmets to a simple beanie and facemasks. They are armed with an array of advanced weaponry.

Blake: Shit, how much ammo do you have left?

Regina: I've got plenty more left, I'll be fine.

Blake: One of the Onyx Exterminator Teams are closing in on us.

Regina: Look, they are still unaware of us, if we want to take them out, we must split up and sneak around to flank them. We'll gain a huge advantage that way.

Blake: I don't want us to separate, you can get hurt or even killed.

Regina: Blake....you still think I am some kind of helpless girl who must rely on someone all the time to survive and get out of trouble?!

Blake: It's the exact opposite. You know how to defend yourself but it's all about being worried about losing someone you really care about.

Regina: I know....and....I really appreciate that you care about me.

Blake: We're going in guns blazing!

Regina sighs in disapproval and prepares her weapon, loading it and fixing attachments.

Blake: We can do it, together! For our city!

Regina: It's going to be okay Regina, just breathe, you'll be fine. You made it this far....phew okay let's do this!

Blake: It's time to unleash absolute fury!

Blake and Regina peek out of their cover from different sides, take aim and open fire at the Onyx Exterminator Team. A few are immediately killed, while the rest splits up into smaller groups and dive into cover behind whatever can stop a bullet.

Blake: Regina! There's a sniper! Get to cover now!

Regina dives back into cover, onto the ground and narrowly avoids being hit by a sniper. Blake steadily aims and fires off two shots. The sniper ducks, then pokes his head back out soon after, only to catch a bullet from Blake with his head.

Blake: Alright! I put him asleep! Permanently.

Regina: Do you hear and feel that too?

Blake: Yes....something's happening again.....

The Onyx Exterminator clones cease fire for a while as well due to the loud noises that make the ground shake violently. They scan the direction from which the thundering noises are coming from. Then a big "thing" appears in the thick mist. As the thing gets closer to the warzone, its true identity gets unveiled. It's a huge rampaging infected rhino charging through the mist. It impales some Onyx Exterminators on its horn one by one and continues

Blake: This goddamn rhino is raising hell here!

Regina: I am happy it's here but the problem is.....it isn't on our side and it has no idea what it is doing. This is what a savage rhino looks like.

Blake: He created a pretty nice diversion by attacking the clones. Let's get moving!

The rampaging rhino then turns around and charges towards Blake and Regina's location. It rams into one of the statues.

Blake: REGINA!

Blake drops his weapon and shoves Regina from underneath the raining debris. Angelina is knocked unconscious after falling forwards, and is separated from Blake.

Blake: REGINA! NO!!!

The rhino keeps on charging into other various large structures devastating everything in its way. Blake loses sight of Regina entirely and tries his best to find her and dig her out from under the debris. The remaining Onyx Exterminators in the area open fire at the rhino. Thanks to their advanced rifles, they stop the rampaging beast for good. But this does not bring any peace just yet as a couple of infected animals like wolves, tigers and black panthers appear in the mist and they attack the clones on sight, pouncing on them from all sides and tearing them apart. Blake is taking some deep breaths and coughs heavily after inhaling the dust around him.

Blake: Regina? Regina!!! C'mon girl, where are you? Please give me a sign or something! REGINA!!! Don't do this to me.....

After minutes of desperate search for who seems to be his best friend, he finally finds Regina's body, it's covered by chunks of concrete and her clothes are covered in blood. Her mask is badly damaged as well...

Blake: Regina?! No! No! No!...

Blake rushes and uncovers her body from the rubble and debris. He picks her up and starts rushing towards the entrance of the skyscraper almost blindly as there's so much dust everywhere. He just follows the beam which is coming out from The Doominator itself. He reaches the entrance and gets in leaving the warzone behind him. There are still a few gunshots heard but not for long till the infected animals take out the last remaining Onyx clone in the area. Blake left all his equipment out there including his weapons just to save Regina's life. They're both in the lobby of the building. He sets Regina down behind a counter. He takes off her mask and checks her pulse. She is.....alive. Her heart is beating faintly and her head is injured and bloody. Blake holds her in his arms, hugging her while she slowly recovers.

Regina: Blake.....what happened?

Blake: A savage rhino demolished many of the statues and you got injured.

Regina: Agh....my head really hurts!

Regina clasps the wound on her head.....

Blake: You need medical treatment!

Regina: N-no! I'm fine, I'll be alright!

Blake: No, Regina. You're not fine!

Regina: How are you gonna get me patched up if we are in the middle of a warzone? You can't call an ambulance anymore. We are simply on our own.

Blake: Can you walk?! Because I am certainly not leaving you here.

Regina: I'll try....

Blake helps Regina stand up.....

Blake: You good? Look if it hurts that badly just sit down I'll try to get help!

Regina: It's fine. I just feel light headed. Let's finish what we started, together.

Blake: We're gonna have to fight our way to the top of the skyscraper.

Regina: You do realize we don't have any weapons anymore? We lost them back outside.

Blake: If we don't have any weapons anymore to defend ourselves, fists will do the trick, especially in a close combat scenario.

Regina: I...can't fight.....

Blake: You don't need to. You're injured. All I want you to do is stay behind my back. I'll protect you.

Sounds of savage animals are heard just outside the building accompanied by shooting sounds.....

Blake: We better get a wiggle on. I am so sick of seeing the savagery of those animals who once used to be docile and well aware of their actions. Let's take the elevator. It better be functional.

They both start walking towards the elevator as they talk...

Regina: I just hope there's still a way to undo this.

Blake: It cannot be undone. It can only be mitigated. At least that's what Gyzmoo thinks. We can destroy the bio weapon, but the virus will remain in the city for a while causing more animals to become savage.

Regina: But.....but if the barrier around it gets disabled, it will make it much less potent.

Blake: There's nothing we can do about the barrier. Once we get to the top of the skyscraper, it's up to Gyzmoo to disable it along with the shield that protects the weapon. And yes it may make the virus less effective...
