Only a moment after Qin Song's third strike hit the tree, all the roots that had been attempting to reach Qin Song fell to the ground, lifelessly.

A few moments after that, the entirety of the huge tree began withering, as life exited it at a very visible speed.

Under the rather horrified eyes of Xue Lanying, this ancient tree rapidly wilted in just a few breaths.

Seeing this, a faint smile appeared on Qin Song's face, causing him to take his axe out of the tree and begin walking towards Xue Lanying.

"Is that really necessary?" asked Xue Lanying as she looked at her Dao Companion, who was currently cleaning his axe.

"Wouldn't want it to become dirty from that tree," mumbled Qin Song before placing the axe on his back.

Hearing this, Xue Lanying's lips slightly twitched, causing her to feel a slight bit of pity towards the tree, whose efforts of countless years were wiped out in just a few moments.

Of course, if Xue Lanying was aware of the kinds of things that the tree had been doing, she would have never had these thoughts, not in a million years.

A few moments after that, the two Dao Companions continued moving on their way.

After taking her attention off Dai Jie, Xu Yue was just about to go into seclusion, when suddenly, she frowned and stared in a certain direction.

"Interesting," mumbled XU Yue as she touched her chin and continued staring in that direction.

Rather surprisingly, Xu Yue could not find the source of that feeling, causing her to become just that more curious about where that feeling had emerged from.

A moment later, Xu Yue stopped using her spiritual sense to search, as she now used her 'Boundless Dao' to scour the Three Thousand Regions for the place the feeling emerged from.

Without warning, Xu Yue suddenly felt her body become hot, as if it was being burned by a flame, causing her to let snort.

Instantly, the invisible flame that had been trying to burn her body was extinguished, as Xu Yue found its source.

Staring at the humongous red bird, which was currently sitting on a tree, staring at her, a look of surprise appeared on Xu Yue's face.

Noticing that the person she had been staring at had noticed her, Ye Feng dropped all pretence, and no longer concealed her presence.

"What do you want?" asked Xu Yue, her voice travelling an incredible distance before arriving in Ye Feng's ear.

Hearing the subtle tone of disdain which was present inside the voice, Ye Feng shook her head.

"Give me my sister, I will give her back to you after a few years," said Ye Feng, causing Xu Yue to pause for a moment.

After hearing Ye Feng's demand, Xu Yue closed her eyes for a moment before thinking.

'She won't be in any danger,' thought Xu Yue.

Although the true details of what Ye Feng wanted to do were somehow concealed from her, Xu Yue could feel that Ye Qiao would not be in any danger in the hands of her sister.

As Ye Feng was a True Phoenix, Xu Yue was not surprised in the slightest by the fact that she could somehow block her vision.

In fact, Xu Yue would be surprised if Ye Feng didn't have a method like that to defend herself, after all, she was probably one of the extremely few phoenixes in the Lower Realm, perhaps even the only one.

At this very moment, one of Xu Yue's incarnations suddenly appeared next to Ye Qiao and began talking with her, whilst the main body talked with Ye Feng.

"Alright, I'll send her outside your nest," said Xu Yue as she sent a glance towards the enormous tree.

Hearing this, Ye Feng faintly nodded before turning her attention away from Xu Yue.

Seeing this, Xu Yue shook her head, causing Ye Qiao to appear right next to Ye Feng, protected by Xu Yue's power of course.

A moment later, Xu Yue suddenly lost the ability to look at Ye Qiao, causing her to shake her head.

"As expected, she has a way to conceal things from me even when I'm this powerful," mumbled Xu Yue whilst shaking her head.

As she knew that Ye Qiao would be safe in the hands of her sister, Xu Yue no longer paid her any attention, as she then closed her eyes and began continuing to comprehend cultivation techniques.

The moment Ye Qiao stared at her sister, the cold look that was normally present on her face disappeared.

Without any warning, Ye Qiao suddenly flew into the arms of Ye Feng, who had already predicted this and was prepared.

"I see you are doing well," said Ye Qiao as she took a look at her sister's cultivation, causing the latter to nod.

Although at this moment, Ye Qiao was in the Minor Transcendence Realm, Ye Feng could clearly see that Ye Qiao only needed a tiny little push to breakthrough, and was currently at the apex of the Minor Transcendence Realm.

"That's true, my cultivation is going smoothly," said Ye Qiao as she tried to sense the cultivation of her older sister.

Sadly, though, no matter how Ye Qiao tried to sense it, Ye Feng's cultivation still eluded her.

"Don't bother, little lass, you won't be able to find out my cultivation that easily," said Ye Feng as she shook her head.

Hearing this, Ye Qiao slightly pouted her lips, causing Ye Feng to let out a chuckle.

"Follow me," said Ye Feng as she suddenly began flying towards the enormous tree, on which her main body was currently sleeping.

Seeing this, Ye Qiao began following her sister without any hesitation.

At first, Ye Qiao was easily able to fly behind Ye Feng, but as time passed, and as the two of them got closer and closer to the tree, the aura emanating from Ye Feng's true body became more and more overwhelming.

But even so, Ye Qiao was always on the edge, not being overwhelmed by the aura whilst still being extremely uncomfortable.

After a few minutes, Ye Qiao suddenly realised what was happening, causing her to lightly snort as she stared at her sister, who had a smile on her face.
