Upon hearing the words of her mother, Xiao Yue, who appeared somewhat confused up until that very moment, suddenly became calm, causing Xu Yue herself to feel a bit weird.

"I understand mother, if not your words, I would have surely been lazy back then, which would have delayed my progress quite a bit..." said Xiao Yue as she fell into thought.

As she looked at Xu Yue, who was now smiling whilst holding her stomach, Hulli Jing couldn't help but touch her chin.

Something had changed, Hulli Jing could see it, but even after racking her brains for a few moments that seemed like an eternity, Hulli Jing could not figure out what had changed.

As such, the fox immediately silently walked up to Xu Yue, who was currently in the middle of a conversation with her daughter, and placed her head onto the latter's shoulder.

"I see both of you are in a very good mood..." mumbled Hulli Jing as she stretched out her hand, touching the small life that was present inside of Xu Yue's stomach.

"It's nothing, Xiao Yue is about to come out in a few months, so I'm just spending some more time with her, before she runs away from me," said Xu Yue as she let out a chuckle, causing Hulli Jing to smile as well.

In the end, Xu Yue quietly spent the last few months of her pregnancy with Hulli Jing, Ye Qiao, as well as Bai Hao, Xing Chu and Xia Xingchou, allowing her daughter to become familiar with them.

Finally though, 5 months after it began, this peaceful scene was finally broken.

Looking at the thin little girl that had clearly just been born, and was clad in several white cloths that she was holding in her hands, a faint smile couldn't help but appear on Xu Yue's face.

"You're as pretty as your mother..." mumbled Xu Yue as the door to the room she was in was suddenly opened, revealing Ye Qiao, Hulli Jing, as well as her parents, who immediately ran in, causing Xiao Yue's eyes to turn to them, a curious look clearly visible on her young face.

Seeing this, Xu Yue stretched out her hands, which were holding her daughter, allowing Ye Qiao to carefully grab the little girl and place her into her arms.

"Yue'er, this is your mother," said Xu Yue as she pointed at Ye Qiao, breaking the silence that had formed.

As she looked at the world colorful world around her, which was unlike anything that Xu Yue had ever seen, the eyes of the newborn baby couldn't help but widen.
