Several years later,

As she walked through the Origin Sword Sect, a faint smile couldn't help but appear on Xu Yanmei's face.

'If I want to do that, I need Xiaoqing to help me,' thought Xu Yanmei as she touched her chin.

Her plan from several years ago had gone without a hitch thanks to Xu Xiaoqing, who had distracted the parents of the beauty whilst Xu Yanmei tempted her.

Sadly though, after a few years of having fun, Xu Yanmei had got somewhat bored by that beauty, at the same time, the beauty herself wanted a companion.

Then, a brilliant idea appeared in Xu Yanmei's mind, why doesn't she get another one?

Of course, Xu Yanmei's standards were quite high, as she couldn't just pick up some pretty genius from some backwater town.

At the same time, Xu Yanmei had a pretty specific tastes, preferring pampered young mistresses.

As one might expect, this type of female cultivator was quite difficult to obtain, as Xu Yanmei couldn't even begin to try to tempt most of them because of their parents or guardians, who usually protected them.

Of course, this is where Xu Xiaoqing came in, as she was extraordinarily proficient in causing trouble, which cave Xu Yanmei a great opportunity to tempt those innocent girls.

"All I need to do is give Xiaoqing some of the treasures I took from her, so cost-effective," mumbled Xu Yanmei as she let out a chuckle.

A few moments later, Xu Yanmei began flying towards Xu Xiaoqing's cave abode.

...

"Yanmei, what brought you here?" asked Ming Yun as she looked at Xu Yanmei, who had just entered the cave adobe.

"Aunt Ming, I just wanted to check up on Xiaoqing and see if she's cultivating properly, as Huan'er is with mother, I only have to worry about this little lass, and can pay a bit more attention to her," said Xu Yanmei as she shook her head, exasperated with Xu Xiaoqing's antics.

"That's true, although Xiaoqing is already progressing rather fast, she is still wasting her potential, with her talent, she should be an entire great realm above where she is right now, at least in my opinion," said Ming Yun as she looked deeper into the cave abode, where Xu Xiaoqing was cultivating.

Hearing Ming Yun's words, Xu Yanmei couldn't help but repeatedly nod.

"That's very good, Aunt Ming with you here, I don't have to worry about Xiaoqing in the slightest, I can rest assured that she will cultivate properly," said Xu Yanmei as she looked at Ming Yun with a thankful expression on her face.

"That's the least I can do, as your mother's maid, if I don't do that, who will?" asked Ming Yun as she stared at the understanding Xu Yanmei with a smile on her face.

"Aunt Ming, you shouldn't say that, but when you finish looking after Xiaoqing, contact me, so that I can know that I need to check up on her," said Xu Yanmei, causing Ming Yun to nod.

"Don't worry Yanmei, I will," said Ming Yun as she looked at Xu Yanmei.

"I understand, I will be on my way now," said Xu Yanmei before quickly exiting the cave abode.

As she looked at Xu Yanmei's departing figure, Xu Ming couldn't help but frown, feeling as though something wasn't truly right.

"What do you think she wanted to do?" asked Ming Yun as she looked into a certain corner of the cave abode, causing a tiny fox to appear.

"I'm not sure what, but I can be certain that she wanted to do nothing good," said Hulli Jing as she looked at Ming Yun.

"That's true," mumbled Ming Yun as she recalled her conversation with Xu Yanmei.

"Yun'er, make sure to tell me when you will stop looking after Xiaoqing," said Hulli Jing as she looked at Ming Yun with a faint smile on her face.

"Don't worry, I'm not insane enough to tell that lass if I'm leaving without someone to look after Xiaoqing, I will contact you," said Ming Yun as she looked at the somewhat creepy smile on Hulli Jing's face.

As she stared at that smile, Ming Yun couldn't help but begin feeling somewhat sorry for Yanmei, before anything had even happened.

...

A serene smile couldn't help but appear on Xu Yanmei's face as she looked at the beautiful sky, yet beneath that smile, Xu Yanmei wasn't as calm or serene as she looked from the outside.

'As expected, those two want to trick me into revealing my plans, how evil,' thought Xu Yanmei as she stared at the sky above her.

Even though Xu Yanmei knew that it was better for Xu Xiaoqing to continue cultivating, the fact that Ming Yun and Hulli Jing destroyed her plans at the same time made her feel somewhat unreconciled.

'The least they could do was give me another helper, how am I supposed to tempt little Xin'er otherwise,' thought Xu Yanmei as she clenched her fist.

As she thought about the cute and innocent Xin Chun, Xu Yanmei couldn't help but lick her lips, a look of desire clearly visible on her face.

"Don't worry my little Xin'er, big sister will come and get you..." mumbled Xu Yanmei as she bit her lips, ignoring the fact that Xin Chun did not yet know her.

A few moments later, Xu Yanmei got up and no longer sat cross-legged, as she now had a determined look on her face.

Xu Yanmei had a plan, one which, although unorthodox, would get the job done.

...

At this moment, inside a city in the sword region stood a huge pagoda, and inside that pagoda, nearing its top floor, stood a young girl, eating.

Suddenly, though, that girl raised her eyes and stared through the windows of the pagoda towards the sky, as she unconsciously stopped paying attention to the meal.

"Xin'er, did something happen?" asked the girl's father as he looked at her, causing her to break out of her trance.

"It's nothing..." mumbled Xin Chun as she turned her attention away from the figure she had seen, and back onto her meal, unaware of the fox which had begun hunting nearby.
