I Still Don't Understand Monsters

The minotaur spotted Wisp and Argriss. Wisp was level 70 now and Argriss was level 55. She didn't know why the two of them had come there, but it didn't change the fact that they entered her territory. And since one of them was human, she was instinctively obligated to kill him.

"Deal with the beetle." said the minotaur said while pulling out her axe.

"Yes, mistress." responded the Oilelk in a low, but cute voice.

The goat girl summoned two, spiked whips in both of her hands.

"My liege, my I?" Argriss asked while pulling out his four weapons.

"You may."

Argriss walked towards him, exuding his aura to intimidate the two, which didn't work. It only made the counter with theirs.

"My name is Argriss, vice-captain of Lord Wisp. You have disrespected him by directing your killing intent towards him. As such, I will claim your life."

The goat girl jumped towards Argriss. She dropped kicked and he blocked it with his halbert. Then he tried to impale her with his sword but jumped off of the side of it with her hands. While still in the air, she spiked both of her whips down at him, making him go back a few feet.

"You're rather agile.

Wisp stared down the minotaur lady. She was strong. He could tell.

[Minotaurs are incapable of using magic, synergeta, or mana offensively or defensively. But their physical strength is incredible, dwarfing most other lifeforms.]

[Recommendation. Dodge till you can find an opening.]

Wisp activated his epic buff skill and ran at the minotaur as she ran at him. Once they met, she tried to take his head off with her axe, but he ducked under it. She kicked him, but he managed to block it. Still, the kick was strong enough to send Wisp flying through several trees, causing internal bleeding in multiple areas of his body. If his epic buff skill hadn't activated, he would have split in half from her kick. He cast holy heal and regenerated from all the damage, surprisingly the female minotaur.

"What is your name human?" The minotaur asked in a soft and mature voice.

"You're first."

"I don't have one."

"Fair. I'm Wisp and I'm gonna tame you."

"I will only submit to my mate or my king."

She punched the ground, splitting it apart and creating an earthquake. Wisp used two more epic buffs, greatly depleting his mp, but increasing his speed four times over. He moved out of the way and ran up to the minotaur. Their fist collided. Despite him increasing his strength and defense four times over, she still overpowered him and made him fly back into another tree, splitting it into two.

She walked up to him and grabbed his throat, raising him up and choking him out. Wisp threw his legs up and locked the minotaur's neck between his thighs. He grabbed his daggers and stabbed her arm with his killer's edge skill, ripping her arm clean off. He twisted his body, slamming her into the ground.

He jumped back using his assassin to catch some air again. He was still shocked. If he didn't use killer's edge or didn't activate one of his many epic buffs, he wouldn't have been able to pierce through her arms.

Argriss walked over with the goat girl in his hand, dazed out and bruised. But he also had lashes and scratches all over his body. He threw her to the ground beside the minotaur.

"Are you gonna kill me now?"

"Huh?"

"I'm useless now. How can I be a wife with only one arm?"

"Well... I mean, you still could be a wife, but why does that justify killing you?"

"Monsters are completely strictened to their purposes." Argriss said while grabbing Wisp's shoulder. "It's their nature and their instinct. If a monster doesn't fulfill their nature, they will die. For a caveroid like me, it's to find a master and serve them. And for a minotaur..."

"To marry?"

"Not exactly. For male minotaurs, it's to kill humans. But for females, it's to be completely committed to their husbands and children. If one refuses to find, love, and serve their mate, they will die."

"What?!"

"Minotaur's main trait is their physical strength. So, losing a limb makes them almost useless in the grand scheme of things."

Wisp looked back over to her. He knelt down before her. He looked into her eyes. He got closer to her, which made her start to blush in embarrassment.

"Hey, g-get away from me!"

"What a shame."

Wisp placed a hand on her shoulder and regenerated her missing arm. She looked at him in confusion, then with contempt.

"What do you want?" she said concerningly.

"Nothing." Wisp said while healing the unconscious goat girl. "I just feel bad for attacking you like that. But if you'll be willing to listen, I could talk to make my offer more tempting."

"So, you do want something?"

"I just want you to listen." Said Wisp while healing Argriss's wounds.

"Fine... you bested me, so speak."

Wisp explained his situation to her and how he wanted her to work for him and be his new familiar.

"Like I said. I'll only serve the man who becomes my husband. And I don't get to choose. It simply happens when it... happens...."

"I understand."

"Y-You do..."

"Yeah, I do. Like I said, I won't force you. Plus, even if I did, you haven't submitted yet-"

[Minotaur has submitted.]

"Huh?"

Wisp looked back to the minotaur. Her body was twitched, she was playing hair, and her pupils turned into pink hearts.

[Minotaur has submitted... like, really submitted.]

[Recommendation. Tame and breed.]

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Wisp yelled in his head at the system.

"It seems she's fallen for you, my liege."

"Huh?"

He looks back to the minotaur girl. She looked uncomfortable but so lewd at the same time, almost like she entered heat... wait...

"Yes... i-it seems I have fallen for you... I don't know why... my body feels warm and my chest hurts, almost like it's tightening up. I feel like I'm gonna faint."

"You know what, I'm not even gonna say it."

Wisp stopped for a moment. He was done and about to tame her, but then he remembered what Argriss said. If he didn't marry her now, she would die. When he looked above the aroused Minotaur, he saw a person he never wanted to see again. His ex-wife. She was holding a kitchen knife and had a demonic smile with no teeth and hollow eyes.

Wisp's body started shivering in fear. The minotaur got up and held his hands.

"Darling, are you ok?"

Wisp jumped back and fell to the ground panting and shaking with fear. Argriss once again put his hand on Wisp's shoulder.

"My liege, please honor me and remember what I said."

Wisp stopped to think for a second. He realized the monster in front of him wasn't his wife. Still, he was terrified. He was tempted to let her just die, but that wouldn't be the right thing to do. It would only make his mental worse off. But even then, he didn't know this creature.

He didn't have to worry about the possibility of her hurting him since he'd be her master, but that's what scared him more. He didn't want to be like his ex-wife. He didn't want to be a monster like she was. But if he didn't tame her, then she could hurt him. And she was much stronger than his ex-wife. Even though he could defend himself now... it didn't take his worry away.

Suddenly, the minotaur woman's eyes turned back to normal. She smiled and reached a hand down to Wisp.

"I can see you're worried. Don't worry, I'm a bit nervous too. I never thought I'd fall in love with a human of all people, but I must follow my nature. Please, allow me to be your wife. If you do, I'll make you feel like the most wonderful person in the whole wide world."

"It's worth a try." Argriss said. "Don't worry. I'll always be here to help you in whatever way you need."

Wisp looked up at the two, nearly crying. He reached out for the minotaur's hand. It was so soft. Her whole body was soft, despite being so muscular. Though, at this point, Wisp throws out all logic when dealing with monsters. To this day, he still wonders where Willow's clothes appeared from when she transforms back into the dungeon.

The minotaur pulled him back up. He reached his hand out to contract her.

[Minotaur (F) tamed. Would you like to nickname.]

"What would you like your nickname to be?"

"I'll be anything you want darling. You can name me to prove I'm yours and no one else's from now on."

"O-Ok... uh, how about Dahlia?"

"Oh, what a lovely name darling. Can we mate now?"

"You're moving too fast!" Wisp yelled while blushing.

"Oh, hell yes, my liege! Dahlia, give our master several children. As many as your body can pop out."

"Shut it, you two!... Oh yeah. What about the girl?"

They all looked back to the goat girl, who was still unconscious.

"She's my servant, which now makes her you're, darling."

"I see... contract... and I'll name you, Tipsy."

Wisp leveled up a lot from taming the two of them. His rogue skills went up by 3, his cleric skills went up by 2, and his beast tamer skill went up by 1. Argriss also gained 4 levels from this.

Wisp looked over to Dahlia, who was fidgeting a lot.

"Is something wrong?"

"It's just... I really want to hold your hand."

"Oh... uh, I'm... sorry. This might take me a while. You can... hold it... if you like."

Instead of holding his hand, she jumped on him and hugged him. She gently squeezed his body, not wanting to hurt him. Her thick, soft curves pressed against him and her almost perfume-like body odor filled Wisp's nose, both causing him to blush again.

"Should I prepare for a boy or a girl?" Argriss asked.

"KYS!"
