A Strange Person

The gates slowly opened and we were greeted by this rotten, icky scent...It surrounded the whole place.

I decided to ignore it as that wasn't the biggest concern right now.

While I was exploring the new surroundings, I noticed the people around me started going...𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆...

I could hear the unbearable screeches surrounding me and was that b-blood?

It surely was, but it wasn't mine...I could hear the sound of the lurking creature...

For the first time, I felt uneasy like never before...

I saw him again the stranger with white hair. When I saw him, something deep inside me told me to follow him...It would be the best chance of survival but before I could catch up to him, something pounced at me...

Without knowing my fingers crept up to the handle of the strange katana which was attached to my belt...

I saw the creature, it had the body of a rabid dog, and the head of a snake...fangs sharper than ones of a lion...it was terrifying.

Out of nowhere, it pounced at me with its massive paws that had claws...

"WATCH OUT!", Sora said as something burst out of his hand...It was a bluish-purple shield?

I finally came back to my sense and called out COME TO AN END!

A phrase that made time freeze, Kieran the spirit of the Katana came out, only this time he looked more human. He had long black hair, wore a long, dark Hanfu and had dark red eyes darker than the colour of blood.

"Please assist me in getting rid of these dreadful creatures."

"Very well then..." He answers me while getting into a battle stance...he seemed to be a user of dark magic.

I also got into a battle stance using the katana with beautiful silver detailing, I slashed their throats one by one while Kieran used magic to decapitate the heads of the vermins...

As I was almost done, I heard a voice...an unfamiliar one.

"Your quite skilled aren't you?" He said while he walked towards me.

It was the stranger with white hair from before, but how was this possible, Time was frozen but he walked freely without a problem.

"W-who are you?" I managed to utter barely.

"The name's Kuragari," He said

While I was cleaning the katana used for slashing I asked "Well, what do you want from me?"

"Let's team up...It would benefit both of us"

"How would it benefit me?"

"That Katana your holding...It's 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫 isn't it?"

"Well, yes."

"It's similar to my weapon of choice"

"My weapon is called 𝖧𝖺𝗇𝖽𝗌 𝖮𝖿 𝖭𝗒𝗑, It gives me the power of telekinesis, regeneration, invulnerability, manipulation, and superhuman strength."

"You're overpowered as hell"

"Exactly and that's why we should team up with each other...I'll teach you more about your Katana"

The offer was tempting...but what would he gain from this?

"Fine, I accept...but only if it includes my friends"

"Ugh fine, we will meet you again"

And just like that he disappeared.

"Kieran, are you still here?" I call out hoping for an answer.

"Yes, master..."

"Please clean up the rest of this mess for me."

"Right away..."

I turned around and saw that I was already surrounded by corpses.

Damn those things were annoying...and bloody.

After Kieran was done cleaning out the place I decided to unfreeze time...RELEASE.

Time resumed.

There were gasps all around because all the monsters "mysteriously" disappeared.

"Guess we can leave now..." Sora said.

"Yeah..." I said.

We all began walking down the path in silence...

"Have you guys seen Min Jung Sae?" I ask because she wasn't anywhere to be seen.

"I haven't seen her since we entered the domain" Baek Hyun added while looking around.

"You don't think she died, do you?" Hyun Jae says in a soft voice while sweat dripped...

"You guys head back to my house, I'll go look for her..." Baek Hyun ordered as he turned around.

"HYUN!"

He didn't even wait for a reply, he just ran off.

Just then I saw another girl running towards us...

"Min Jung Sae?!" I exclaim.

She looked exhausted...

Sora asked while grabbing onto her shoulders, "Where the hell were you?!" his expression was murderous.

"I'm sorry, I was trying to get a better grasp on the situation...But when I saw what was happening, I got scared and hid." She said.

"Are you alright?" I ask.

"I'm fine, but I need some time to recover. Can you take me home?"

"Sure, let's get going," I say.

"What about Baek Hyun?" Hyun Jae asked while checking up on the girl in front of us.

"He'll be fine. He should be able to make it back on his own."

"Let's head back now," I tell my friends. We have a long way ahead of us.
