The Re-establishment Of Balance

[ Third Person POV ]

Mariejois

The Five Elders were currently sitting where they usually did. The sea had become quite dangerous after they attempted to perform a Buster Call an island in Whitebeard's territory.

They had given out some quick instructions to help soften the blow to their reputation as a result. Moreover, they had waited to see if Whitebeard would have made a response to the attack. Which he surprisingly didn't.

His decision proved to be a major contribution to the quick restabilization of the world. Although pirates were still causing a ruckus throughout the world. It was something miniscule compared to the threat of Whitebeard. The Marines wasted no time containing the pirates, and slowly, they began either imprisoning them; or indirectly pushing them to the New World.

After All, who would fight pirates better than their own? It was small, but the World Government was starting to make steady balance in restoring tranquility; or what their ideal of it was, to the world. However, one minor issue had slowly began to rear its ugly head for the World Government.

"We need to figure out what we should do with Gol D. Roger" Saint Warcury announced.

Aside from the chaos that he was making as a result of his constant clashes with other pirates and the Marines. His influence was slowly spreading and inspiring others to lead the way of the pirate. This did not bode well for the World Government in the long run.

"Agreed, he has become too much of a nuisence as of late. Are the Marines tracking him down?" Saint Mars asked.

"Yes, they sent Garp after him" Saint Jaygarcia Saturn replied.

"Then what's the problem? Leave it to the Marines. They know what they are doing" Saint Nusjuro scoffed.

"It's his influence that is causing trouble for us. We don't need to more destability right now" Saint Warcury argued.

"Paying more attention to him would do just that, in my opinion" Saint Ju Peter interjected.

The Five Elders became silent after that, giving Saint Shepherd Ju Peter the oppurtunity to elaborate.

"When those World Nobles snuck out and died, leading us to make a Buster Call on Falke island. The world was in an uproar." Saint Ju Peter stated, "As we are now, the world is still looking at both the Whitebeard Pirates and the World Government fearing an outbreak of war. Whitebeard's decision not to attack is causing nothing but more tension to erupt."

"The moment we decide to target Roger, one of Whitebeard's known friends, not only would we be dealing with the Roger Pirates. We might also be dealing with the Whitebeard Pirates as well, because they already have a motive to attack us." Saint Ju Peter finished.

What the blonde haired elder had said made sense. The moment the World Government would decide to take the initiative and attack Roger directly, Whitebeard could use this oppurtunity to make a combined strike on the World Government.

If it was just the two of them, the damage would be devastating. However, now that they were aware that the Storm Dragon was protecting Whitebeard's territory. The three of them combined would prove to be an outright catastrophe. One that would have the World Government's reputation tarnished beyond repair.

Taking a quiet stance towards the situation would save Whitebeard some dignity, and let the Marines perform their tasks without the looming threat of the Whitebeard pirates. To be clear, they were still a threat, but a separate threat on their own; instead of a combined threat with Roger.

The other Elders couldn't help but sigh before passing that motion. They had quite some trouble trying to quiet the seas. They weren't about to stir it again just because of one looming threat that has yet to make an impact on the world.

Marineford

Kong had already passed the order to have Sengoku return to base. The chase of the Donquixote Pirates was beginning to take too much time that an Admiral should be taking. Sengoku soon began his return to base.

As for Garp, he was still busy looking for clues of the Roger pirates. The pirates that stood on his way soon became victims of his fist. They normally ended drowning in the sea, or in cuffs on their way to Impel Down. There really was no other way around it.

Zephyr, who had been spending some time with his wife, was currently back in office and sorting some paperwork for Kong. He wasn't really much of an office person, but when push came to shove, he would get the job done. He was processing papers almost at the same speed as Kong himself. He had been a valuable asset to have at the office.

Kong, who had just finished a batch of paperwork, leaned back in his chair and looked up. It was about time for the World Conference to occur. Soon, there would be endless preparations that would be needed to be done in order to welcome all alliance members to Mariejois.

However, that was for the future. Right now, they had to prioirtize capturing as many pirates as possible. Ever since the Marine's squabble with Whitebeard, they had made an effort to avoid Whitbeard's territory at all cause. Should the Storm Dragon spot the marines, who knows what could happen.

On the other side, the future of the marines looked quite bright. The three candidates who were given the Magma, Light and Ice devil fruits were luitenants by the names of Sakazuki, Borsalino and Kuzan. They were firm believers of justice and were monsters in training camp.

Zephyr had also took them under his wing for a bit, and promptly decided to train them for a while. Well, train would be an understatement. He put the trio, along with the rest of that particular training camp, through hell. A hell that would last the entirety of a month before they were assigned to various bases within the world.

Now Borsalino was assigned to Sengoku, whereas Kuzan was assigned to Garp. Sakazuki would remain within the G-1 branch under the wing of the Branch Commander of the base. They all seemed to be doing well on their part. There was a small report about a group of marines tresspassing into Whitebeard's territory and meeting the Storm Dragon. However, the Storm Dragon seemed to ignore them and let them go. The marine group's fear had spread out throughout the entire G-1 base.

This fear was eminated by a strange fable of the Storm Dragon, claiming that wherever you stay within Whitebeard's territory. The Storm Dragon always had his eyes on you. Kong was puzzled by this fable, but he didn't disperse the rumors either. If that could deter the marines from crossing into Whitebeard's territory, then all the better.

Guys, I think I have writer's block.

I don't want to usher in Rogers search for Poneglyphs yet.

At the same time, I don't know what was currently happening.

Chapters will be coming out slower than normal.

Please be Patient!!!

Love y'all!!!!
