Settling Things

We stood facing each other face to face.

Shiki and Kaidou stood in front of me opposite to Roger, Rayleigh and I. Though it was practically invisible to the normal eye, our Conqurer's haki was flaring against each other as we all tried to establish dominance over the other side.

Well, it was more of Rayleigh's and Roger's haki against Kaidou's and Shiki's.

I didn't bother letting mine's out because Rayleigh was doing most of the work for me. So I was kind of slacking off on it.

"Worororororo!! Boris! I'm ready to go another round! What about you!" Kaidou roared.

"It seems that you have quite the energetic opponent, young man!" Rayleigh remarked.

"Please don't encourage him, Rayleigh," I pleaded.

Roger laughed as he heard the entire ordeal go down. He had somehow managed to catch his breath after all that ragged breathing that I was hearing earlier, but things weren't looking too good on his end.

Shiki snarled as he looked at Roger and Rayleigh with an anticipating expression.

"Just think about the things that we can do together! Roger!!!"

With that, Shiki immediately lunged at the duo. Roger and Rayleigh immediately raised their blades to defend and they were immediately sent flying past me.

Before they were sent flying, I had already seen them block the attack, so I knew that the duo was okay.

However, that left me dealing with this battle-hungry dragon that seemed to have reached the end of his patience.

Kaidou lunged at me with renewed vigor, and slammed his Kanabo right onto my axe as we released another haki based clash. The collision shook the ground even more compared to the previous island that we had been fighting on.

However, I wasn't worried too much because Tottoland was almost a hundred times bigger compared to the other one. Since I wasn't holding back as much as I did during our previous fight, I ended up winning the clash and sending him flying again.

I turned to look at the duo of Roger and Rayleigh going at it with Shiki before leaping into the air and following the direction that I had sent Kaidou flying.

Kaidou had immediately recovered from the blow that I had dealt him with and immediately began lunging at me with his Kanabo raised above his head.

"Ragnarok!!!"

"Fulgura Perditionis"

Our two attacks immediately collided and shook the heavens. Storms began forming around us as we locked weapons again as we continued looking at each other. My nigh-empty eyes boring down Kaidou's blood-lust tanged eyes.

Lightning of silver and purple danced along the sky as we kept colliding in the heavens. His Kanabo always remaining in my field of vision as he continued dodging my axe's swings.

'He mixed his natural instincts with Advanced Observation Haki so that he would be able to tell where my attacks were landing, impressive'

His Kanabo was always looking for a new weakness on me that he could exploit, yet he couldn't seem to find any as we continued fighting.

With every clash of our weapons, thunder resounded from the clouds as lightning flashed. Rain was already pattering down on the island, and a thunderstorm had already formed as a result in our fight.

"Don't ignore me!!" Kaidou snorted as he swung his kanabo at my ribs.

I raised my axe's handle and blocked the attack before the Kanabo could get too close. Repelling it after, I swung my axe sideways looking to split him in two.

However, before my axe could land the hit. Kaidou grabbed the blade of my axe before locking it in with a vice-grip. He then pulled the axe so that he could drag me closer before he swung down his Kanabo to knock me down to Tottoland.

However, things wouldn't go as Kaidou had thought out.

I immediately grabbed his Kanabo before giving him a bloody headbutt straight to the nose. It was obvious that he wasn't prepared for it because he soon began to stumble back. However, I wasn't done with him yet.

He released the blade of my axe as I released my grip of his at the same time and flew a little bit higer than him to get a bit of a running start for my next attack.

Using Soru, I immediately rushed at Kaidou before kicking him square on the head and sending him hurling through the storm clouds and crashing into Tottoland.

As a result, he ended up crashing into the ground and destroying all of the buildings that were near Kaidou's immediate surroundings. It looked pretty devastating looking down from the sky, but I wasn't done with Kaidou just yet.

"Fulgura Perditionis!"

The blade of Labrys immediately turned black before taking on a silver hue. Silverlightning began to dance along the axe as I raised it high above my head. I held the axe with only one hand as my other was free, this was going to hurt more than a bit for Kaidou.

Kaidou, who was slowly emerging from the rubble, immediately looked up as he sensed something amiss with me. I could even see the bastard smiling as he looked at me with eyes of anticipation. It was evident that he would remain battle-hungry, even in death.

I swung down my blade and sent an enormous axe slash his way. The axe slash imbued with haki and lightning as it got bigger and bigger as it approached Kaidou.

However, Kaidou wasn't one to back down out of a fight of strength.

I clearly heard Kaidou roar from the other side of my attack:

"Thunder Bagua: Chaos of Ragnarok!!!"

Below, I immediately felt an explosion of Conqurer's haki that almost rivaled my own. I quickly stared down at Kaidou as I saw a mass of purple lightning form an outline around my attack, and right as my attack was about to land.

An equally destructive attack immediately met mine as purple and silver light immediately bloomed from where Kaidou made contact with my attack.

The light quickly engulfing the both of us as I couldn't see anything for the next 30 seconds.

"That bastard had something like that hidden within?! Just how much power does he have in his prime?!"

I couldn't help but fathom Kaidou's power. Watching the anime, it took a literal god just to subdue him properly. So I personally felt that I never had the chance to fully appreciate all Kaidou had to offer in terms of power.

However, looking at it in person, I felt that the current Kaidou was nothing but a prelude to the monster he was sure to become in the future.

"If he can survive, that is," I muttered as I slowly landed on top of him.

Half of his body was split open, his organs revealed themselves to see with the naked eye. I could still hear the bastard breathing shallowly as he lay there unconcious. It was a true astonishing sight.

"If you survive this, then I'm sure you'll become an opponent worth fighting in the future," I declared. Slowly resting the head of his Kanabo on the ground right in front of his feet.

I quickly flew up and away from the crater as I turned to look for Whitebeard. I had already assumed that he had been finished with dealing with Big Mom, but they were both free to surprise me.

Let me know what y'all think!!!

Love y'all!!!
