Looking around, there were remnants of Marine soldiers who were trying to recuperate. I could already hear what the Marines planned on doing below.
"Quickly, get the Admiral and Vice-Admiral and prepare for retreat!" One of the Rear Admirals ordered, "We'll distract the Storm Dragon until the evac ship has gone a reasonable distance from the island!"
"Sir! A Celestial Dragon is currently in no condition to run! The World Government Agents have ordered us to prioritize their evacuation first!" A Marine soldier saluted before reporting.
"Well, add him to the ship that's evacuating with the ship, too! We can't afford to lose some of our best fighting powers just because of a minor inconvenience! Also, ask Headquarters for more backup now!" The Rear Admiral ordered.
Looking in the distance, I could see a legless individual being carefully carried to one of the ships that I hadn't yet destroyed. The ship was one that had belonged to the World Government; they probably brought it with the other Celestial Dragons that came to the island.
'It'd be a pity if their last line of hope were to be eradicated..'
The two dragon heads that were on my shoulders immediately began charging up a huge energy blast before sending it right to the ships that the World Government agents had been rushing to.
They immediately froze in their tracks as they watched their last hope get absolutely obliterated into the sea. The Marines looked at the ship with a shocked expression as they all slowly turned to face their attention on me.
Again, the Marines and World Government agents looked on in urgency and surprise.
"Shit! Get the Admiral and Vice-Admiral out of the ship now! We're going to use the ship to transport the Saint Figarland right back to Mariejois!!" A World Government agent ordered.
"The hell we are! Send them all together so we can secure all their safety!" The Rear Admiral, who had taken charge, immediately argued.
"You dare argue with the World Government's orders?! I'll have you killed for treason!" The World Government agent hissed.
During the time that they had been arguing. I took the time to turn back into my human form and approach the two arguing men quietly.
I didn't care as much about Kuzan and Zephyr's condition as I did with the Celestial Dragon's. These fuckers had been picking fights with me ever since I had left with Whitebeard a long time ago. So I was going to make it a habit to kill every one of them that had happened to cross my paths. It was a small habit that had been growing on me over time.
I was even thinking about killing Doflamingo for this reason, but he was a subject for another day.
I slowly lowered my grip on the axe before letting the blade fall to the ground. As a result, I ended up dragging the axe slowly as I approached the two arguing individuals. The topic of conversation, the Celestial Dragon, slowly stirred from unconsciousness, only to lay his two eyes on me.
"He-He's here! Get me outta here!!" The World Noble screamed as he slowly began to scramble back away from me.
The duo quickly turned to face me in shock before reflexively drawing out their weapons to charge at me. I simply brushed between the duo while swinging my axe, effectively lopping both their necks one by one and stopping right in front of the World Noble.
They both fell simultaneously, with their headless necks spurting out blood like fountains. The Celestial Dragon screamed as he tried scrambling back.
"D-do you realize who you're messing with?! You kill me, you'll be making enemies out of my family as well!! Do you know my family?!" The World Noble squealed as he tried to make a distance from me.
"They will fall as well, along with that bastard sitting on that throne," I replied indifferently as I raised my axe.
"Wait, spare me! I'll make sure to give you riches beyond your comprehension!" The Celestial Dragon switched tactics and decided to bargain with me.
"What kind of family backs you?" I asked him curiously.
"Simple! You'll grovel in fear when you hear this, The Figarland Fa-" I lopped his head off before he could even finish what he was saying.
All I really needed was a name, and I'd keep them in mind as I paid Mariejois a visit.
As for the rest of the Marines, I left them to their own devices as I used Soru to disappear and head over to where I had placed Robin.
I had already destroyed all the ships that they had raided the island with, so they'd be staying on the island for quite some time.
The sky kept pouring as I reappeared in front of the trunk that I had left Nico Robin hiding in.
Robin had been hugging her feet as she wearily stared outside of the tree trunk that she had been hiding under.
"Y-You're back?" Robin asked anxiously.
"Yeah, we're pretty much done here. So let's get moving," I remarked as I gently offered her my hand.
"Are they going to keep chasing us? They sent so many after us!" Nico Robin remarked nervously.
I could tell that she was scared; the trauma of losing her home had slowly begun to rear its ugly head at her. What she needed now was assurance that she was in the safest position that she could be in, but it was going to be a challenge to have that done.
"If they do, I'll be handling it all the same. There is no reason for you to worry about that; leave that to me," I reassured as I slowly got her out of the tree trunk.
I slowly picked her up before spreading my wings and taking to the skies. I wanted to get away from the rain that I had summoned beforehand. It would clear out eventually, but it would take quite a bit of time to do so.
I could feel Nico Robin slowly clutch my chest as I quickened the speed of the flight. At that point, we weren't too far from getting into Paradise, but I'd probably need to make another stop before we got into the New World.
I passed through various islands that we had visited before, but they didn't appeal to me as much. I wanted to land somewhere that I hadn't visited for a long time, if at all.
I eventually managed to land on an island that was a pretty good distance from Sabaody Archipelago; it would take about five to six hours to get to Sabaody, so it wouldn't take us much to eventually get to the New World.
I gently placed Robin on the ground and walked toward the quiet village, where we happened to land right in front. It didn't really matter whether or not they had an inn; after all, I could always keep flying and have Nico Robin sleep in my arms while I flew.
However, I would have preferred if she had had some proper rest.
"Boris...right?" Nico Robin asked.
"What is it?"
"Where exactly are you taking me? We've been flying towards the New World for quite some time..." Robin asked.
"Well, since I'm taking you under my wing, I'm taking you to where you'll be living until you're ready to head out by yourself," I remarked.
"Do the people that you sail with know about this?" Nico Robin asked curiously.
"Well....Sort of," I replied as I scratched my head. I wasn't really sure how Stussy was going to react to the sudden developments.
'I hope this won't be a headache'
