Chapter 2: The Amusement Park

From the day that Lilia met the Star Guardian of Pisces Constellation, her life has changed a lot. She cannot stop thinking about what the mysterious doll said about herself and about the hidden truth of evil creatures. "Who am I?", that's the only question she kept repeating to herself.

"Lilia, let's go!". A voice interrupted her thoughts. 

"Coming". Lilia turned her eyes away from the horizon. 

Today, Lilia and her friend, Jude will hang out with each other at the amusement park. Jude Morais is Lilia's closest friend. They have known each other since elementary. When Lilia got bullied for being different, Jude was the only girl that dared to stand up for her. Lilia really does appreciate and cherish this friendship. 

'The Amusement Park of Freedom'

Jude and Lilia usually come to this place since they were kids, now they still are. Freedom Park is full of joyful memories. 

After a few hours of hanging around, it's almost evening. Lilia and Jude are going to the 'Mystic Night Field', a flowery night time garden. Then they'll just go home.

"Here are tickets for the place, enjoy!". The ticket seller handed Jude tickets. 

"Thank you"

"Let's go Lilia". Jude grabbed Lilia's arm and dragged her toward the tranquil moonlight garden.

"Don't rush". Lilia almost fell.

As they come into the garden, the time is starting to slow down. Nocturnal creatures are getting lengthier in time to react. 

"Everything is happening just like 'that day', will I be able to find out the truth this time?". Lilia gazed upon the stars. "Will I be able to find out who I am?".

"Let me save you from the endless misery"

Time has truly stopped. 

"The inner voice? No it sounds different than the voice that I've heard from the mysterious doll". Lilia was doubting herself. "Or was something wrong with my mind".

Jude has frozen with everyone within the unmoving time. Her smile is still on her face brightly.

The atmosphere in the garden is turning strange. The heavy fragrance of flowers are becoming malodorous, the greenery vines are rotting briskly, and upon the pathway, there are some unknown purple particles emerging from below. 

"Ah ha ah a ah a hah". Someone was singing.

As the dark gloomy melody flows, the positivity of people is decaying. Their faces are turning pale as their optimistic energy is consumed by something.

"A strong enemy". The mysterious doll appeared behind Lilia.

"Where did you come from?". This scared Lilia a little bit.

"I'm your spirit guide, I came from within you". The doll replied. Spirit guides can only reveal their true form when the time stops. 

"It's a Bishop". Lilia's spirit guide knew that she won't understand types of the negative enemy, so he transferred the basic knowledge of Star Guardians to Lilia. "I hope these could help".

"AH MY HEAD". Lilia held her head, a sudden huge amount of information almost cracked Lilia's brain. "It hurts terribly".

Basic Knowledge:

Anytime the time of a specific area stops, it means that an evil being has revealed itself. Most of the time, these creatures are often hidden in the negative realm. They observe everybody, then they'll hunt later after analyzing. Only Star Guardians are strong enough to resist the rule of negativity (their emotion won't be affected by the negative debuffs from enemies), only Star Guardians can move freely even when the time has frozen. 

There are 5 ranks of negative beings (from lowest to highest): Newborn, Rookie, Bishop, Knight, and Earl.

However, these are only the common type of negative beings. The rare special types are hard to find and to battle against. Because we know less or nothing about them.

Each of the negative beings will have one core of evil. To break the unmoving time effect, destroying the being's core is the only way. Nonetheless, there is still a chance that they may run away back into their realm, and the time will be back to normal. But all the positivity of victims will be gone. Hunting down that exact evil core is the only solution to return the delight to everyone. Plus, their negative emotions will be cured.

Star Guardians can use their celestial forms to fight against these negative beings by using transformation. Each person will have different size and magic of transformation based on their personality, appearance, their spirit guide, and their real life skills.

"How do I transform now?". Lilia asked. She saw the transformation of the Star Guardian of the Pisces Constellation. It was so pretty and cool, she couldn't wait to try it.

"It depends on you". The doll answered. "You have to prove yourself to the stars, everyone has their own ways to get the transformation".

"Fall into my eternal dream"

That voice again!

At this point, for no reason, Lilia feels sleepy, like if she closes her eyes even just a little bit, she'll just eventually fall asleep. 

"Wake up, do not sleep!". The doll slapped Lilia's face strongly.

"Ouch, why did you do that?!". Lilia didn't understand why feeling sleepy was a sin.

"This Bishop's magic is not easy to deal with". The doll flew up high to the sky. "Give me one minute, I'll scan it".

The information of the negative being:

Name: Gardevoid

Gender: Female

Ability: Music

Source: A newborn seed had been absorbed by a woman. Gardevoid was a lonely empty female, her tears and sadness were enough for the seed to grow. And her breath accidentally consumed the seed that flows in the air. She has been staying here for a really long time, she is the main reason why many couples broke up after leaving this place. She is full of jealousy and loneliness. 

"That is so desolate!". Lilia felt bad for the woman. She knows that the woman deserves to be happy, not to be killed and hated by others. 

Well, both ways, the woman will be free from the misery anyway. 

"Why are you still moving?". A damsel in silvery dress was standing on a branch of the tree. "What are you?".

"Who are you?". Lilia questioned back.

"RUN LILIA". The doll whispered in Lilia's ears. "That's the Bishop!".

"Remember that you guys are in my realm". The damsel chuckled. "I can hear all your thoughts and words". 

"Moon Blast". Seemed like the damsel recognized the doll was a star guardian's spirit guide so she attacked right away.

Lilia wasn't quick enough to react, so she could only scream hopelessly: "AAAAHHH". 

Out of nowhere, a girl jumped out and saved Lilia, "You can thank me later".

This girl has 2 horns on her head. Her hair is long and soft as the river flows. She wears a kimono (a traditional outfit of Japan). And her voice is determined yet feminine still.

"She's so pretty" - Lilia thought after randomly looking at the girl's eyes.
