A hearty meal

Olivia Fagin stared at the man that was looking at the statue in front of him, her eyes were lit up. As an avid Internet user, she had seen so many celebrities and she was sure that this guy ranked among the top.

Britta pushed her slightly, "You know, you are bolder than the rest of us. Go and ask him for his number."

Daley nodded with enthusiasm as her hands joined Britta in pushing me forward. Olivia looked at the last member of their group, Amelia, who was still staring at the man.

"He looks really good," She said almost to herself. "Maybe he is a new celebrity or one in disguise. I wonder which kind of celebrity he is."

"He is dressed up. Maybe he is a Cosplayer." Britta said and her eyes sparkled. Now, she has a topic of conversation.

You can't just walk up to a handsome guy and ask him for his contacts. He must be used to that so he won't have a good impression. You have to start with a mutual topic at least. To capture a hot guy 101.

"Good evening." She smiled at him.

Raizel turned and saw a young girl with blonde curls smiling at him. She wore a navy robe, which was divided into two. The second part also stopped below her knees. It was similar to what the other three girls in the distance were wearing.

Judging from how no one was giving her and her companions' extra looks. It seemed to be some sort of uniform. Which sect would have such a uniform?

She was a young girl; her bone age was up to twenty. Her skin was smooth and fair, she had fine blonde hair tied into a ponytail that was hanging on her shoulder, and her face was charming like a flower.

She was brimming with youth and vitality. What was she doing wandering the streets? She should be at home either cultivating or meditating on the Dao.

Raizel shrouded his spiritual essence before he sent it into her body. 'Early Stage of Dao Imbibition.' He immediately had a bad impression.

'Such a lazy child.' Raizel sometimes forgets that not everybody is as talented as he and his friends. But how could he not? As a prodigy with a Celestial Void Primordial Spirit, at seventeen, he was already at the late stage of Dao Budding.

Olivia saw him stare at her and smiled. She had confidence in her appearance.

"You hate him too, don't you?" Seeing his shocked eyes, she smiled. How could she not finger it out? Brown eyes, black hair, white robes and a long azure sword by his side, plus the way he had glared at the statue of Lord Raizel. He must be Cos-playing Lord Tarek. Most of Lord Tarek's fans were anti-fans of Lord Raizel.

"Hate him?" Raizel asked, he was a bit bewildered. When did he hate himself?

Olivia did not hear the question mark after the sentence continued and felt that the handsome reduced his voice as to not offend the fans of Lord Raizel. Lord Raizel's fans were too strong. Normally, she would be one of them too, but not today.

She smiled at him when she also whispered in a low voice. "Don't worry; I am one of Lord Tarek's fans too."

She glared at Lord Raizel statue. "I mean Lord Tarek cultivated the Dao of Wind and specialized in speed. How could he not escape before Lord Raizel sealed the Devils Realm?  Lord Raizel must have locked him inside out of jealousy. He probably wanted them to die together."

Then she turned towards Raziel again and said with a smile, "My name is Olivia, What is yours?"

After saying this, she stopped, almost snickering to herself. Due to her frequent trolling of Lord Tarek's fans, she knew all their conspiracy theories.

The info dump made Raizel a bit dizzy. He tried to decipher it. First, their battle at the Devil world has made them famous, heroes, even if he added the statue.

He hoped that they were not in every city; he did not want to be seeing them everywhere not to mention he was far more handsome than the face of the statue.

Second, they had 'fans', something like admirers, and they were divided into factions. The girl in front of him was in Tarek's faction.

That man was always the first to escape. He subconsciously deleted the part where she talked about Terak's death. His impression of her fell even more.

Third, she thought he was dead. That part was not too surprising; He had been sleeping for so long after all. What about the societies Lucas founded? The Terra union? Did they all think he was dead? Perhaps that is a good thing.

Fourth, this girl was hitting on him. How could he not have noticed? No wonder, she was still in the Dao Imbibition Realm at her age. She was running around doing stuff like this instead of properly cultivating.

"Aden" He said offhand as he prepared to leave.

"When are we having the next fan meeting? Can you give me your number, I am new, I have many questions."

"I am not his fan." Raizel could not bring himself to call Tarek a Lord so he just left the dumfounded girl behind going towards the direction the aroma of food was coming from.

He had reached the Dao Tribulation Realm a long time ago and had no need for food but that does not mean he did not desire food. Good food to be specific, that old abbot's cooking had traumatized his childhood.

Raizel entered the restaurant that had a placard that said Rara Ramen Shop and an engraving of crystal flowers on a plate. So the wonderful aroma was called Ramen.

He entered the shop and sat down ignoring the looks the diners were casting at him. It seemed he stood out more than he anticipated, he needs to get the clothes and the magical box-like treasure this group of people were also raising towards him.

A young female waiter walked towards him and asked."Sir, please store your sword away. Weapons are not allowed within the store." She pointed to a sign where the said instruction was written in red on a white background. He touched the sword and it disappeared.

The waitress smiled at him. Good looking and understanding people are always easier to serve. "Sir, what would you like to order?"

Raizel looked through the black booklet in his hands. It was safe to say that he did not recognize any of the food. "What would you recommend?"

The waiter was even happier but she cautiously said, "The weather is a bit cold so a bowl of Miso ramen soup with chashu and menma toppings and a drink would not be bad. However, if you like you can try our restaurant today's special, Rara potato and beef belly noodles. It is most of our diners' favourite."

Raizel waited for a while before a hot lidded simmering bowl was placed before him. Raizel opened the lid and a rich aroma spread out.

He nodded; this was what was distracting him while he was speaking with that girl. Lucas was right, cultivators that had thrown away their desire for mundane food was a little pitiful. They did not know what they were missing.

Raizel picked the chopsticks and poked the meat a little, it was soft and tender. He brought the noodles into his mouth; it was firm yet so silky leaving a good bite.

Each mouthful was wonderful, the rich beef flavour, the soft potatoes and tender carrots that carried a sweet and tangy flavour. His eyes lit up, the meal did not increase his spiritual energy or cleanse his meridians but every bite was wonderful. This ramen was a wonderful thing. Tianling Pavilion had outdone themselves.

He called over the waitress and ordered some more, he looked around and noticed a white liquid the nearest person to him was drinking with relish and ordered a cup of it.

Raizel was satisfied after eating three bowls and he leisurely sipped the fragrant and faintly sweet soy milk as he closed his eyes. Now, this was life.

After a while, the waitress placed a bill before him. "Sir, the total bill would be 650 credits. Each of the potato and beef belly noodles bowls cost 200 credits and the glass of soy milk is 50 credits. How do you want to pay?"

Although, Raizel wondered why they were no longer collecting spirit stones but 'credits', he did not inquire. He just finished a hearty meal and was now feeling a bit sleepy.

He nodded and took out a token made of blood sandalwood; its borders had a platinum colour. The words, Tianling Pavilion was written in a beautiful calligraphy and there was a carving of crystal flowers on a plate.

This was the VIP card of the Tianling Pavilion, the top restaurant chain in the whole of Terra. The VIP members could eat three meals free every month in any Tianling restaurant of their choice.
