The goddess

Far away from the central capital. The Eastern part of Orton. A place filled with culture, beautifully made antiques and lots of other amazing things.

At each side of the road, you would find traders calling out to people to patronize them. From the beautiful jade pin to the adorned dopo and robes. All this create a beautiful and friendly environment.

"goddess" a trader called to the passing Nari.

"ai...how many times would I tell you that I am not yet a goddess" She was being dragged by the trader to her stand.

"I know, I know, but you are still our goddess " the trader responded "here. Take what ever you like " the trader said pointing at the jewelries on her stand.

"aish...no, no. Don't let me take it" Nari refused strongly but the trader didn't give up.

"you have done lot of things for us. This little would not be enough to say thank you, you not taking it means you do not take us in your heart" The trader persuaded.

"okay. I get you " she looked around at all the jewelries placed on the trader stand and decided to pick an hair pin "I will take this " she held a jade pin on the shelf.

"ha..." the trader sighed. The jade pin Nari took did not worth a much, it was a jade usually used by the commoners and not a royalty like Nari.

"Okay, bye" she waved hand as she left the traders stand.

"your Highness. Remember to come again! ".

"okay! "she answered ' lucian said he would come to the east. I wonder when he would get here '. The jade pin she took was for lucian to use. Lucian had long hair so she intended to gift it to him 'I wonder if he would like this ' she smiled at the end which even the traders around noticed.

"your highness" a soldier in red uniform ran to greet the princess. He was out of breath.

"what is it? Why did you run? " she asked.

"hmm...there is no rain in the southern gate. The farmers asked to tell you about it". The soldier said.

The east hardly experience famine or drought. There was a literal goddess of nature among them. Nari took it upon her to always come to the farmers aid when they needed it, and so the people got used to their great goddess who is not yet an half goddess.

"okay. Take me there "

" you want tyranny? I will give you tyranny" Ray spoke in anger.

"are you sure you know what you are doing? We have existed since the creation of Oton. Who will correct your ways when you do the wrong thing? ".

" is that even a question? All you people do is cause hatred among my people. Teach the young pure blood how to oppress the other races children. Is that correcting the wrong way or leading them to it? " Ray screamed out releasing his pressure in the process.

" you do not know what you are doing. This could lead to the end of your rule" another said.

"No. This will begin a new chapter for all race in Orton" Ray said. Then he ordered the shadow knights "arrest them for treason".

"stop. Even if you kill us we will come back again. Are you sure you want to wage a war with us?" the council threatened. They all knew the punishment for treason, death.

"hahaha. Now you have shot your self in the foot". Then he stretched his hand into the air and brought out an orb " Do you know what this is? " He asked.

" e-ether" the council members had a terrified look on their face. "how did you get that? We destroyed all of it"

Ray shook his head in denial "wrong. You didn't destroy all of it. You destroyed some" he corrected.

" I have armed my soldiers with ether weapons. Your death this time would be real. You will experience true death" he said with a spooky smile while leaving the court.

" no...!!! " they screamed as Ray left.

" I am sorry elders " the captain of the shadow knights said as h gave the signal to behead them.

"sigh...the obstacles has been removed. Now it's time to lead the people to Portum and prepare my knights for war".
