A Shadow?

"A Shadow?" You say with a perplexed expression.

"Yes a shadow don't you know what you are my Mother will be back soon and she will exterminate every single one of you!"

"If you won't let me leave can you at least answer my questions?"

"Seeing as your gonna die anyway I don't see a reason not to."

"How were you talking earlier?"

The boy sucks his teeth as he begins to shrink back down to his usual child-like size.

"I talk just how you do dummy."

'What is with this kid, one second he's all over me the next is a shadow and he wants me dead.'

"No, earlier you weren't talking but I could hear you, I wanna know how...I know I probably sound like an idiot but I can't explain it any other way."

"Oh that, It's just one of my many abilities that my real mother showed me a few years back she's really amazing way better than a loser like you."

You suck your teeth as you quickly reply "If she's so amazing then why did she leave you here."

You jump up prepared to storm off into the eternal darkness completely giving up on the chances that this little demon will take you anywhere when you hear crying.

You look at the boy in disbelief as he says in-between gasps and heavy cries "I told her not to but she agreed to go with that man."

"What man?" You say completely forgetting about his previous insults.

He begins to wipe away his tears "I-It...his name was..."

Suddenly you begin to feel your body heat up as a bright light emits from your body and pushes back the darkness as your consciousness begins to fade.

You wake up to Master Kai calling your name as the softly but rapidly slaps you "Elizabeth, get up It's just a little bit of poison don't be a drama queen jeez your worst than your father."

"ugh, what happened?"

"You failed that's what happened now get up we got work to do."
