By the end of the conference, the ministers and generals were all convinced to help Odrax and now we are preparing for the civil war. Raijin already has the support of the military command and the only opposition is made up by the nobles that support his father and their private armies made of adventurers and mercenaries.

We met up a few kilometers away from the capital in a military camp that we turned into our base of operations.

Ignea also woke up but she did seem to feel down since she didn't even realize how she lost but now that she met up with Runa she started feeling a bit better and the two of them went out to play.

-So what made you start earlier than we originally planed?[Seiji]

-I just couldn't wait any longer.[Raijin]

-Is that really all there is to it?[Seiji]

-Yes.[Raijin]

-Stop with the bullshit and start talking.[Seiji]

-How long do you think it would take to complete the plan if we started right now?[Raijin]

-A few months after the civil war ends should be sufficient.[Seiji]

-And how long do you think the civil war is gonna take?[Raijin]

-Anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks, why?[Seiji]

-Don't you think that's way too long? Don't you want to enact revenge sooner?[Raijin]

-Calm down shitty prince, nothing good will come out of rushing things. In the end do you want to get the job done good or just to be done?[Seiji]

Something is up with him, I haven't seen him so agitated since we were kids. Back then he was an idealist and a perfectionist, if you were to meddle with his thing he'd throw a fit. I thought he'd grown out of that but who knows...

-I want it to be perfect but if we keep it up for too long there might even be more casualties than in the great war from back then.[Raijin]

-Raijin, let me clarify one thing to you since you clearly seem to not understand it. The one factor that decides the casualties caused by our plan is my mood, if people cooperate, no one dies, if they don't they die. I'm not about to lose everything I planned just because of some thing like casualties. I may be your best friend but do not forget that, in the end I am the demon king, humanities worst enemy. Just as for a human there is no difference in 1 and dying or 1 hundred, there is no difference for me if one human dies or the entire race.[Seiji]
