Chapter 31

After me and Raijin had calmed from our little dispute we finished the plans and organized the troops and ordered them to be on stand-by. At noon, Raijin will hold a speech and claim the throne for himself. If all goes well, the commoners will support our plan and the current king, Raijin's father will be dethroned.

As we still have a few hours until then, I decided to take Ignea and Runa to the city and have some fun while the waters are still calm. Of course, the first thing they want to do is to eat something sweet so I take them to a cake shop in the center of the town and buy them some strawberry shortcakes.

It's nice to see them smiling like this since, at least in the near future it might not be possible.

I dragged the two of them in my plans and I do feel sorry for them.

I still have to find out where Runa's father is and how was he sealed. If Narkis really has a method of sealing someone as powerful as him, than I am also in danger since, even I do not know if I would be able to defeat him without losing at least an arm or a leg.

After my parents died, the dragon king is the one that took me in and trained me to be a great ruler. He thaught me both academics and martial arts and is something like an uncle for me.

I have to find him, not only for Runa but also for my plans.
