Preparations

The morning after Sarah seduced Phil, she woke up beside him as he looked around in a mad flurry of emotions and bewilderment.

He looked to his right and saw that he was lying down beside the beautiful he knew as Sophia. And not just sleeping beside her, but also sleeping completely naked as well.

He stammered as he looked at the slowly rising Sophia on the bed, "W-wait! I w-wasn't dreaming?"

Seeing the timid display Phil was giving, Sophia rolled her eyes before softing shaking her head.

"Of course not. But I wasn't being honest with you last night either," Sarah said before standing up from the bed and uncovering the thin blanket off her curvy figure.

"I actually need your help with meeting the Lieutenant tonight," Sarah said.

Phil didn't understand what was going on. Why did Sophia need to see the Lieutenant? What kind of lie did she tell him? What did she need help with?

And just like before, Sarah transformed her figure back to her original appearance in front of Phil's shocked gaze just like the time she had changed her appearance in front of Anthony.

And suprisingly enough they had the same reactions as well.

Sarah chuckled this time when she saw the innocent Phil suddenly having his world flipped upside down when he had realized that for his first time he had slept with a cultivator. Which promptly immediately brought him to his knees to propose to Sarah right then and there.

"Please, my lady, marry me..." Phil said solemnly with as much seriousness as he could put on the matter.

Not caring for his proposal, Sarah half-heartedly just agreed to Phil's confession and went about the conversation to convince him to stand guard near the Lieutenant's tent for tonight so she could get a chance to have a conversation with him.

"Look, Phil, there is something amiss brewing in this camp. Something vile and disgusting. I need you to stand guard as I have my discussion with the Lieutenant tonight. Would you support me in my endeavour, my love?" Sarah said with a deeply heart-stricken voice.

Unfortunately for Phil, he was unable to realize any of the inconsistencies with Sarah's proposition and current situation as his mind had been muddled by illusions the same just as before. With the corruption taking a greater effect as well.

With a violet glow in his eyes, Phil responded as if he was a fanatic,"Anything for my you, my love!"

Then soon after, Sarah said her vows to Phil as she left him behind to find her next subjects that she was going to involve with her and the Lieutenant tonight. And as she left behind the passionate Phil behind all she could think of was how bad she felt for the betrayal she was going to cause on Phil after she was done with him.

'You fell for the greatest lie in the book, Phil. I pity that you fell in love with a woman like me.'

With these thoughts, Sarah went on her way to find her next targets to confine to her schemes. Like the beautiful siren she was.

"No, I refuse to do it," The skinny man said as he rejected Sarah's request with fear and anxious resolve.

The woman before him was asking for something that he just couldn't do. Something he didn't want to do!

But after giving his answer Sarah didn't do or say anything except for dropping her head down and moving a piece of cloth to the side, revealing her breast.

Typically, any man that saw that scene would be thinking erotic thoughts or maybe even try to get down with the woman. But what the man thought was a completely different line of emotions.

His face scrunched up as he felt a chill run down his spine.

Soon, Sarah said as if what he had done was a minor inconvenience, "That hurt a lot, wouldn't you think so?"

Hearing that, the man felt even more pressure compared to before.

Feeling the tense atmosphere, Sarah continued, "You know, since you don't seem interested in helping me out, I should maybe go and ask someone else to do the job. I'm sure they would love to hear the reason why I confided in them in the first place," Sarah said with deepening allure.

But soon after, Sarah switched tones as she asked seductively, "You don't think this could inconvenience you, no~? After what you did to me that night~?" giving a soft chuckle right after.

The man looked at Sarah with blazing eyes, feeling as if his heart had been locked behind an ice cabinet in the Frein Tundra.

'Gods no, is she really threatening me now? Has my time finally come?' The skinny man thought as he gritted his teeth with unequivalent force across his jaw.

'I didn't know what came over me that time! Please, you have to believe me!?' The man pleaded to himself as if he was talking to an entity beside him.

But of course, there was no one there to listen.

Back then when him and his friend had their 'fun' with Sarah that one night, he hadn't remembered anything that happened after the first few minutes of the night. But what he did remember, showed him something he could never forgive himself with.

As much as he hated the suggestion Sarah had asked from him, he couldn't truly reject it.

That was his sin after all. He was the one that commited it. He had a mind to stop but he hadn't.

He was a monster...

So as penance, he couldn't deny what Sarah was asking of him. This was his supposed duty after taking this woman's virginity with no remorse that night.

And hey, this was going to a be a small request comparatively. Right?

Thinking this, the man took a deep breath and calmed his aching jaw and anxious nerves.

"Fine, I'll do it. I'll go and ask the Lieutenant if I can take the shift for tonight," The man said before turning his back and walking away from the amused Sarah who just looked on with a smile.

"Thank you, Devon. Oh, but bring Matt as well, okay?" Sarah said before waving the man, Devon, goodbye for the day.

The next time she would see him, would be when the plan finally went into motion tonight.

After dealing with the two most meddlesome people to invite, Sarah went around inviting Anthony and Emma as well. Not only were they the least troublesome pair, but they were also the most infatuated among all of the people she had met so far. They also seemingly had the highest amount of Corruption among all the people she had seduced as well.

But even after all of this, it wasn't enough.

She didn't feel safe enough...

Regardless of the amount of back-up plans Sarah had made regarding the Lieutenant, she still wasn't able to prevent him from finding out about the existence of her in the Kron Camp. There was many things that were meant to prevent this from happening, but despite all of that, the Lieutenant was still somehow able to find out her secrets that she had tried her best to keep hidden.

Yes, it wasn't safe yet. Maybe it never would be until she was done with the Lieutenant.

Thinking these thoughts, she went and called Michael, the resident vampire for help as well. Of course she made sure to use her disguise before she approached him to make the case more... appealing for him.

"Hey, Michael my boy~ How are you doing?" Sarah asked, giving a coquettish giggle.

"Doing just fine?" Michael responded, perplexed.

Sarah then went close to the vampire and gave a firm pat on his back before twirling her fingers in between his long hair.

"Of course your doing fine! But do you know who is doing the greatest today? Me! That's who!" Sarah said before giving a hearty laugh.

Confused with his fellow vampire's mannerisms, Michael just had to ask, "What made you so happy?" before promptly going back to sharpening his sword in his dark tent.

Hearing the question, Sarah gave a bright smile.

"Well of course, because I might have a chance of meeting the Lieutenant tonight! Ah~ my beloved Lieutenant," Sarah said with infatuation in her voice.

Besides the unusualness of the situation, Michael suddenly remembered back to a conversation he had with Sarah back when they had first met.

'She did say something about her wanting to be friends with him,' Michael thought before giving himself a nod and turning back towards Sarah.

"Sure, lemme guess, you want my help matching you up with him?" Michael asked.

'I would enjoy it very much if you get that Lieutenant out of my hair,' Michael thought before giving an inconspicious smile and a nod.

"Sure, I'll help you out."

And with that confirmation, Sarah had taken her first step towards the Lieutenant's private quarters, as the sun went down in the horizon.
