"Anh~!" Sarah gave a final moan of pleasure before collapsing on top of the person who 'fed' her for tonight.

Phil, meanwhile was taking haggard breaths. Exhausted from the night with Sarah sucking the vitality of not just his body, but also his soul.

A few more breaths later, Phil passed out. Though Sarah didn't react since she was still able to hear stable heartbeats from his chest and uniform but weak breathing from his lungs.

"Phew..." Sarah blew as she got off Phil and laid down beside him.

She felt satisfied with her recent spoils. And with this satisfaction, came the decision to look back at what she had gained after tonight's night of sex and seductions.

'Huh?' Sarah thought in surprise at the last line.

'You are doing well in your growth... Since when did the system compliment me?' She thought momentarily before putting the weird occurrence aside.

'Anyway, this means I've finally gotten all 3000 Seduction Points from the side quest. Though... I didn't just get Seduction Points as a reward' Sarah pondered.

She was right. She didn't just get Seduction Points as a reward for completing her side quest. There was a hidden reward behind it that only she could know.

'An opportunity...' She thought.

Yes, an opportunity. The process of completing the side quests in and of itself was rewarding. And no, it wasn't because of the sex.

But because the reward was the information she had gotten in the process of completing the exhausting side quest.

'Yeh, the information...' Sarah thought as she imperceptively nodded to herself.

The amount of information she got about the Lieutenant from these three boys was worth more than the Seduction Points she had earned in the process of getting them.

Well, even if she hadn't gotten any information from fucking the three friends, Sarah was still able to buy new skills and also significantly improve her cultivation and the levels of those said skills.

If Sarah wanted to list one by one what she had earned in terms of the Cultivating Seductress System, then first on the list would be the Vampire Species Appearance she had unlocked after having her first night with Michael. That was a surprise she hadn't expected when she had seduced him. But it was a welcome surprise nonetheless.

The second would be uncovering Corruption's hidden effects on the individuals affected by its insidious effects.

And yes, the status effect of Corruption was truly insidious in nature. It seemed as if Sarah was slowly destroying the minds of the people she affected and enthralling them into becoming some sort of slave of hers.

It felt like she was a god who gave wonderful gifts to her servants, only to actually be the devil behind the mask of divinity and erode the very being of those who served her.

It was... disturbing to say the least.

But feeling negative was the least of Sarah's worries. And ultimately nothing much compared to the goals she strived to achieve.

And that was to find Damian and get the hell out of this damn war!

Even though Sarah wasn't exactly suffering in this war. In fact, she was enjoying it deeply, she still didn't like the fact that the war was happening regardless. Especially for Damian who was far out on the outskirts and was actually fighting for his life in this madness.

Sarah had only been subjected to one wave of this war, but she also surmised that she wasn't that close to the borders anyway to truly be in danger. Compared to the other camps hers was relatively peaceful.

In the end, the others had to be fighting a harrowing battle constantly... right?

Little did Sarah know that the number of waves of rabid beasts was the exact same across the entire kingdom of Glaran.

It was just one... The number of beast waves was just one...

Of course, only the cultivators and the military leaders knew of this information. The fact that the Beast King had sent his armies only once against the kingdom of Glaran was not a fact to be joyful of.

In fact, it was a fact that something much more sinister was at play behind the scenes. The Beast King might be preparing something dangerous against the Glaran royalty.

But all of that information was meaningless for Sarah.

She already knew what to do. And she was close to achieving it...

'Well, I'm done for today. Now I need to start setting up my plans for tomorrow,' Sarah thought.

Soon, Sarah spoke a command and willed for an invisible screen to show up.

Sarah sighed at the quest description.

'Just a Lieutenant it said... Isn't it wonderful that it kept out the fact about him being a goddamn cultivator!? Sarah thought sarcastically before waving her hand and dismissing the quest window.

'Fuck it. I don't have much time remaining anymore. I've already done the sidequest and seduced Anthony, Phil, and Michael. I've also given them a hint of corruption with Anthony and Phil's being especially high. I'm sure those two will listen to whatever I wish for them to do. My two loyal slaves,' Sarah thought with a cold expression before turning her head away.

'Yes... everything will end tomorrow. And everything will begin after that...'

Soon after the debacle between Sarah and Phil's night out, night graced the camp once again. A full day after Sarah had seduced her last victim.

Now, in the middle of the camp, an illuminated tent with a Lieutenant polishing his sword was shown to the outside world.

It was a simple shadow, with nothing off behind the shadowy enigma. But if someone got close they would feel a suffocating feeling of life and death battling it out as the man suffused his sword with indomitable life as if saturating it with sentience and emotions.

Before this, the Lieutenant had been pissed off as if a prickly needle had pierced his neck throughout the entire morning and afternoon. Nobody knew why the Lieutenant was so stressed, but none of the soldiers at the time dared to ask out of fear of retaliation.

So everybody had minded their own businesses as the Lieutenant minded his. This situation continued until the end of the day when the Lieutenant was infusing Life into his sword as if preparing for a bloody battle.

'It's today, I can feel it...' The Lieutenant thought before taking a deep breath, keeping his sword away to the side of the bed, and sitting on the floor in a lotus position.

He had just used up the entirety of his Law Qi to experiment with a new Cultivation Technique he was developing. With the number of unknown fragments of the unknown 'love' Law surrounding him, he had been inspired to make a new Cultivation Technique that can work in the same way.

The fundamentals of this new Cultivation Technique was the spreading of his own law: Dead-Life, and creating a situation where he can siphon off the experiences of the inanimate objects surrounding him and somehow take the knowledge of these supposed objects and improve his own knowledge of the Law of Dead-Life. This would lead to more avenues of finding Essence in the material of things which could subsequently give him a larger pool of Essence he can pull from and increase his cultivation speed.

It was an ingenious solution to a problem he'd been having for the past few decades, but he had to first experiment with the objects closest to him and the closest object he had always kept with him was his sword: Enther.

He was sure Enther had a ton of experiences it could tell him since the time of its sentience...

But before he could continue, the Lieutenant suddenly heard a call from the outside.

"Sir, is it alright if I come inside?" A soft feminine voice said from behind the curtains.

The Lieutenant's eye twitched before letting out a sigh of frustration. How did someone get so close to his tent without informing him first? He was sure he had kept some soldiers outside his tent to look out for anyone that came just in case.

But now his studies were interrupted and he probably had to deal with some benign complaint before he could send them off and get back to working on his Law.

'Which buffoon let this damsel near my tent!' The Lieutenant thought before calling for the woman inside.

"Sure, tell me what you want quickly and leave," The Lieutenant said with a slight edge to his voice before grabbing his chair and sitting behind his work table.

With the flap of the tent, a dauntingly beautiful woman was seen entering his tent with dark reddish-brown hair and deep violet eyes with a hint of ruby to accentuate it.

Then, after the woman entered she spoke two defying words...

"Hello, Cleatus."
