It was night in the camp as two people were dreaming in their respective tents.
In the dream, a happy young man sat up in a field of pink flowers as he seemed to have awoken in a new world.
"Finally, I'm back here!" The young man thought as he looked around with a warm gaze.
But soon he grabbed his chin as he started ruminating on his situation.
"So I forgot the dream but only remember it now." The young man thought as he looked at the now-familiar flower fields.
"Well, who cares! I know what I am now. Just gotta remember when I'm out of here!" The young man thought as he scanned the flower field with his warm blue eyes.
Soon he locked onto a brunette girl picking flowers on the field. Having a delicate smile as she seemed to have forgotten her worldly matters.
The young man smiles as he took a step and soon reached the young girl's location.
The girl flinched as she suddenly saw a devilishly handsome young man with a face that could almost be called beautiful before her. His warm blue eyes scanned her features as he gave a certain feeling of safety and humbleness in his demeanour.
"Hey! Are you ok?" The young man said with tender care.
The young girl blushed as she hurriedly tried to escape but unfortunately tripped on some of the flowers she had collected.
The young man reacted quickly and grabs onto the young girl's waist as he held her hand in his hand. Held her as if they were in a dance.
The young man smoothly drags the young girl with a fall and lifts her up as he spun her around. Showing the superb mastery of his dancing skills.
Soon the young man stops spinning the young girl as he brings her towards himself and holds her tightly.
"You might think this is a dream. But I think it's fate." The young man said with his charming smile.
The young girl's heart beat rapidly as she felt the young man's voice smoothly enter her ears. Sounding a melody of affection in her soul.
'I love him!' The young girl screamed in her mind.
"I love you..." The young girl whispered into his ears.
The young man smiled and kissed the young girl on her cheek as he gave her a deeper hug.
The young girl blushed for a moment before she fell into bliss in his arms. Feeling the comfort of being in the grasp of her loved one.
The young man caresses her hair as he seemed to have figured out the solution to his problem.
"Don't worry sweetheart. The only reason I'm hurt is because our love wasn't deep enough." The young man said in his smooth voice.
He picked the girl's chin up as he smiled at her.
"Just love me with your actions, and your wish will come true." He said with confidence.
From the smile of that young man, the girl could only see her future together with him.
'Show my love through action...' The girl thought as her eyes started shining a bright orange light. Suddenly feeling a sense of subservience towards the young man.
She looked at the young man's profile and blushed for a moment before she gathered her courage and went for her attack.
She grabbed the young man's head and gave a forceful kiss as she made her intentions real to him.
'I'll fix you through my actions darling~!' The young girl thought as she drowned in the love she was feeling deep within her soul.
The young man closed his eyes as he felt a sense of accomplishment.
'If I use this girl right, I can treat my hunger soon...' The young man thought as his mind suddenly blacked out.

Damian woke up in the middle of the night as he was thrust out of his dream.
He gritted his teeth in frustration as he couldn't figure out what just happened.
'Why was I kicked out!' Damian thought as he clenched his fists in anger.
He was so close!
He could've solved his hunger!
If the dream had waited till he was done, he could've solved it!
If it waited just a bit more!
Just a bit more!
Just a bit more...
Just a bit...
'Why am I suddenly so angry?' Damian thought as he looked around bewildered. His memory from a few seconds ago now lost.
The crescent moon was illuminating his tent, as a certain figure walked outside.
A muscular man with a gold-blond beard walked in with a bandaged arm as he looked towards the bed-ridden Damian before him.
Damian gets alerted as he suddenly goes into defence mode.
"Who is it!" Damian shouted as he sat up in a hurry.
Damian was panicking as a person suddenly entered his tent in the middle of the night. He was used to this happening during the slums since he would often get assassination attempts on his life.
But he always had his trusty sword by his side when he slept.
He quickly looked to his left and saw that unfortunately, his sword was nowhere near him.
Damian gritted his teeth out of stress as he suddenly heard a familiar voice call out.
"Calm down. It's me." Jonah said as he walked out of the shadows, giving Damian a clearer view.
Damian calmed down for a moment after seeing who it was, but then immediately went on guard again.
"Speak. Why have you come here in the middle of the night." Damian said with a cold voice.
Jonah gave an eyebrow raise at Damian's attitude before he looked at his bandaged arm and suddenly had a realisation.
'He thinks I'm here to silence him.' Jonah deduced.
Jonah didn't answer Damian's question as he took a seat, and brought it towards himself.
He sat down on the seat under Damian's supervision.
Jonah let out a helpless sigh and started waving his bandaged arm in front of him.
"It's not going to hurt you." Jonah said as he limply waved his arm up and down.
Damian didn't buy it, but he decided to not show his suspicions for now.
"Then, what do you want?" Damian asked with a tone of arrogance.
Jonah pretended to not notice, as he stared at Damian's bandaged knee.
"You don't seem like a man with a shattered knee." Jonah said as he stated his observations.
Damian looked at his knee and sighed.
"You didn't answer my question?" Damian stubbornly asked.
"And you didn't answer mine..." Jonah said with cold indifference.
Damian narrowed his eyes before he decided to try and take a different approach.
'Negotiations often require making a compromise.' Damian thought as he took a step back in his attitude.
"Fine. I've got questions to ask you then." Damian relented as he gave Jonah equal grounds to speak on.
"And so do I." Jonah nodded.
Jonah came closer to Damian with his chair and sat beside his bed as he started his questions.
"I'll start with the first question. Why is your knee fine after it was very clearly shattered?" Jonah asked as he pointed at Damian's knee.
Damian had a rare ugly expression as he heard the question.
But Damian calmed down before he decided to speak a half-truth.
"I don't know either. I just woke up yesterday and found most of my injuries suddenly healed." Damian said while shaking his head.
Jonah nodded at Damian's answer and figured that he was probably telling the truth.
'He must be something like me then.' Jonah pondered in his mind when he suddenly heard a question directed at him.
"My turn. Why is your arm growing back when it should clearly be impossible?" Damian asked as he pointed to Jonah's bandaged arm.
Jonah became wide-eyed at this question.
"I thought you already knew?" Jonah said with unconcealed shock.
This time it was Damian's turn to be shocked.
"What do you mean?" Damian asked with worry.
Jonah gave a weird look for a moment before he decided to narrate the events of the battle.
Jonah gave a fifteen-minute rundown of everything that happened during their battle. With Damian nodding as he heard everything.
"Yeh, I remember doing all of that, except for the last part. That doesn't sound like something I'd do..." Damian said as he compiled his findings and gave Jonah an answer.
Jonah gave a bewildered look as he remembered clearly what happened.
He knew it wasn't his imagination.
'That's bizarre...' Jonah speculated as he looked at his arm.
"So you don't remember wrapping this bandage around my arm?" Jonah asked with hesitation.
Damian paused for a moment as he looked deep within himself trying to find an answer. But all he could remember was the feeling of turning wolves into pulp and his many injuries during the fight.
Damian soon nodded his head as he gave an answer: "I'm sure." Damian said with resolution.
'But I remember clearly I blacked out after killing that legless wolf.' Damian thought in his mind as he tried to wrap his head around this.
"Mmm..." Jonah pondered over Damian's answer as he tried to figure out an answer to Damian's situation.
'Probably a case of amnesia...' Jonah thought as he started connecting the dots between Damian's injuries, and his own when he awakened.
But at this thought, Jonah soon looked wide-eyed at Damian as he seemed to have figured out what happened!
Jonah clears his throat as he couldn't believe his own ridiculous conjecture that he had somehow stumbled upon.
"Damian. Are you a cultivator?" Jonah asked nervously as he remembered how Sarah suddenly awakened her law during their trip to Alron.
Damian became shocked at Jonah's conclusions but soon looked at his condition and figured out where his answer was coming from.
'I mean, if I could heal a shattered knee in two nights then there has to be something extraordinary...' Damian thought in his mind.
But Damian shook his head at Jonah's question.
"I know you may not believe me, but I don't think I've become a cultivator yet..." Damian said as he looked to the ground.
"...I think I'm still missing something..." Damian said as paused at his sentence, trying to come to terms with his situation.
But he continued after some time and answered Jonah's question completely.
"I may not be a cultivator... but I think I might be something else."
There's going to be a ton of mystery solving in these next few upcoming chapters and new mysteries to solve along with it. Soon you may find there is a certain mystery around Damian's supernatural healing power. [And that might not be all ;) ]
Anyway, if you like the book, consider adding it to your collection. If you think the book deserves it, then think about sending a powerstone my way to show your love.
