CHAPTER 143

"Guys can I ask you a question?" Eve asked.

"Yes sure!" Sue said.

"As far we have the answer, we would tell you right away" Nars said.

"Okay. How did my husband react when he found out I was kidnapped?" Eve asked.

Sue and Nars were surprised with the question Eve asked them but they answered it away.

"Charles was beyond devastated. He was not happy at all. He looked like he would kill someone!" Sue said.

"The day he found he found out that Mr Marvin and his nephew, Dr Andrew were involved in your kidnap, he was furious. The whole office were really cold. We were able to feel the killing intent in him" Nars said. His body shivers as he remembered that day in the office.

"Did he kill anyone?" Eve asked.

"No, he did not! Although he felt like he would kill someone but thankfully he did not and I think it was because of you" Sue said.

"Since he did not kill anyone, then what happened to Mr Marvin and his nephew, Dr Andrew?" Eve asked. She was curious of the punishments he gave to Mr Marvin and his nephew, Dr Andrew.

"I heard that Mr Marvin went bankrupt and his assets were taken from him, even his wife left him and took their children with her, apparently she said that he was a bad influence on their children" Sue said and all three of them laughed.

"What of Dr Andrew?" Eve asked.

"His medical license has been revoked and he was sent to the meanest prison together with Mr Marvin" Sue said.

"Very good because they deserved everything that is happening to them right now" Nars snorted.

"Have my uncle and cousin been caught?" Eve asked.

"No, they have not been caught. They are still on the run" Sue said.

"Don't worry all the means in which they can leave this country has been blocked, so they can't leave this country and they will eventually be caught no matter how long they run" Nars said.

"I'm not worried because I know they will be caught eventually but I was just worried about my husband" Eve said.

"Don't worry about all that, trust your husband and his capabilities, he will be fine" Sue said.

"Okay" Eve said.

"No that is settled, where is your baby?" Sue said.

"The nurse took him to clean him up. They should be back any minute now" immediately Eve finished talking, the nurse walked in with her baby "here they are!" Eve said.

"Baby boy! Look how cute you are!" Sue said.

"He is really cute" Nars said.

"Have you and Charles thought of a name for your baby?" Sue asked.

"Not yet, but we will do that later" Eve said.

"Okay" Sue said and turned back to playing with Eve's baby.

Sue and Nars hurried to the baby and began playing with Eve's baby. They were talking and laughing.

Some remote area in New York city~~~~~

George and his wife and daughter are currently hiding in a very remote area. They are on the run and they can't afford for Charlie to catch them or they would be toast.

"How did your plan not work?"Sofia asked. She was very agitated.

"I do not know Sofia! Everything was going fine until Charles and the police showed up" George shouted.

"Who informed them about the location of the warehouse? It was an abandoned building" Sofia asked.

"We do not know! I have been trying to contact Marvin and his nephew, Andrew but I have not been able to get through to them! I am already frustrated as it is! Please do not add to it and allow me to think!" George shouted.

"Our sources just told me that even the sea route is blocked, so we can't leave the country through by the sea" Adriana said.

"D*mn it!" George exclaimed.

"We need to find a way out of this situation" Sofia said.

"Of we would if you stop talking!" George shouted.

"Dad, you need to calm down" Adriana said to her dad.

"I am calm... Calm" George said breathing heavily.

Charlie rounded up what he was doing and called secretary Dan.

"What do you want me to do for you sir?" Secretary Dan asked.

"Get the car ready to go and pick my wife from the hospital" Charlie said.

"Yes sir" secretary Dan said and turned to leave but was stopped by Charlie.

"Wait... You all can get off work now since all the most important matters has been taken care of" Charlie said.

"Yes sir" secretary Dan said.

As secretary Dan left Charlie arranged the table, stood up and left the office taking the private elevator to the VIP parking lot. He goes down and saw secretary Dan waiting for him. He enters the car and secretary Dan drove off to M city hospital.

Eve's VIP ward~~~~~

"You are here" Eve said when she saw Charlie walk into the room. Sue and Nars has already left the hospital a while ago.

"Yes. Where are your friends, Sue and Nars?" Charlie asked.

"They left a while ago. I sent them back because I was getting tired and wanted to rest a little before you came" Eve said.

"Are you ready to go now?" Charlie asked.

"Yes, I have already packed my things. Sue and Nars helped me" Eve said.

"Okay, let us go" Charlie said and helped Eve carry her bag and they left the hospital with their baby.
