SUPERHERO GETS A GRANDPA SYSTEM

It's not so easy to make it as a superhero these days. In the golden age of heroes, it didn't matter what kind of ability you had. If you had an ability, dressed up in bright colors, and came up with a crazy name; you had it made. You were a hero. The world isn't so simple anymore. Kyle Kane is finding life as a teenage superhero to be worse than a pimple on prom night. Eliminated from his team and forced into normal classes, Kyle's F class powers have doomed him to harassment and mediocrity. Then one day, he gets a cranky message from a system. "I'm your system, congratulations, blah blah blah." Is this Kyle's chance or just another new way to be humiliated?

Rajinn

A beam of energy erupted from the interior of the dungeon. A half-body ghostly giant appeared just above the temple/dungeon prison.

The being had a balled head with strange lines curving over and stopping just above the eyebrows. A large collar flipped up to the middle of the skull. The collar came around to the front to tips.

The collared garment was actually a cloak and it was over green robes. There was nothing to see below the midsection of the being.

Its eyes were closed but after a few moments, it slowly opened them. He looked at the fighting below it. It could see the demon fighters fighting the native army.

"My last memories were like this," the being said. All of the fighters had stopped fighting. Dread covered the faces of the defending army. Sif and Rollins were similarly worried.

The great being looked over all of the fighters until its eyes landed on the gemmed medallion in the hand of the Baron.

"You have freed me?"

"Yes, my lord, I have worked for many years to free you from your prison," the Baron bowed lowly towards this great Lord.

"You have done well, I will reward you greatly. I see you are struggling to defeat these ants. I will help you. I will grant you the blessings of my medallion. Behold, power is yours.

Today, you become my right hand and tomorrow, the ruler of this world. Your power will be second to mine, Lord Rajinn, the Devourer," Rajinn said.

Energy from the jewel in the medallion spread out covering the Baron and filling his body. The weak Baron's body transformed into what some would call a divine body.

Muscles bulged and the slightly handsome Barron became so handsome any woman who looked at him would fall before him in submission. Every man would want to idolize him.

"With the powers of the cosmos, I bind you to my service," Rajinn said as two gold bracers materialized and clamped around the wrists of the Baron.

"In your actions, no power your equal, in fact, my eternal slave. From this moment on, you are Jinn, king, and slave." Rajinn said.

The Baron was shocked, he did not expect to become a slave. He only wanted the power to rule others and not be ruled by others.

"No, my lord, do not make me a slave!" The Baron begged.

"There is no other way for you to share my power. Do not worry, you are only my slave while all others will be your slaves.

This world I give to you as a boon. Your faith and sacrifice are recognized! Now, defeat this army of ants and once I am free we will fully conquer this world!" Rajinn roared out.

The Baron's transformation into Jinn was almost complete. Sif realized that if she didn't attack now and interfere with the transformation; not only would the fight the recently freed Rajinn, they would also face his Jinn.

She moved like lightning and evade the last few Demon Fighters who were still stunned by the appearance of their master. The Baron was still holding his hand up into the sky.

It was then that Sif sliced toward the arm of the Baron and sliced off his arm, just above the bracer. The Baron cried out in pain. Sif didn't stop there and sliced at his neck.

The sword was stopped suddenly by the Baron's other hand. Energy surrounded his hand and protected it. He looked evilly at Sif who struggled to draw back her sword.

The recently severed arm floated back into place and secured itself there. After a brief moment, the Baron's hand flexed its fingers. Looking at Sif with madness, the Baron smiled a killing smile.

A sword pierced through the chest of the Baron and he dropped Rajinn's medallion. Sif grabbed out for the medallion and tried putting it in her bag of holding. She didn't know what else to do.

The medallion couldn't be forced into the bag of holding, so she turned around and ran with the medallion. Not only the Baron, but even Rajinn was surprised by this turn of events.

Even though the Baron no longer held the medallion, his body bristled with power. The sword was still being shoved threw and twisted in Baron's body. He grunted in pain.

Rollins was holding onto his sword and doing his best to kill the Baron. Sif attacked from the front and Rollins from behind. They didn't plan this; it just happened naturally.

The Baron couldn't reach the sword or Rollins and all he could do was violently twist and shake his body. Rollins lost his footing and could only hold onto the sword.

It was almost like he was riding a wild bull and was barely holding on with his hands. The shaking and twisting became so violent that Rollins could no longer hold on. He was flung away.

In the meantime, Sif was rushing away from the battle and was trying to get outside the barrier. No one understood her plan, but they helped her the best they could be opening a path.

The desperation of the Rovan Army increased exponentially. Seeing Rajinn made them realize how close they were to destruction.

The fear the soldiers felt helped them access reserves of power none of them knew they had. The Demon Fighters were being routed very quickly by the aggressive soldiers.

Sif continued to run and the just freed Baron was still trying to get the sword out of his chest. Finally, a Demon Fighter came over and removed it for him.

Once he was freed, the Baron began examining the battlefield and finally found Sif running out toward the opening of the barrier.

"You think I'll let you escape!" He shouted and with a motion of his hand he captured Sif in an energy bubble and dragged her back before him.

He grabbed her by the back of the head and screamed at her, "Little worm, how dare you interfere! Give me the medallion and I will end your life quickly.

Otherwise, I'll keep you alive and sell you as a slave!" He said viciously.

Sif stared at him hard and opened her hands. There was nothing there! Her hands were completely empty.

The Baron looked at her empty hands and roared, "Where is my medallion?!"

With his yell, he took out a knife and stabbed Sif before tossing her down.
