"How ironic, Tony. Trying to rid of the world of weapons, you gave it its best one ever! And now, I'm going to kill you with it!"
~ Obadiah Stane, Iron Man 2

The next day, Jude began by dismissing all the scientific research personnel at the institute, choosing to retain only the guards and management staff. Some of these researchers had dedicated decades to their work and were well-regarded in the scientific community.
However, Jude viewed their achievements as ordinary, some even akin to rubbish. He wondered if their dismissal would be a New Year's saving grace.
The little spider also reported to work, officially commencing his career as a researcher. Having shared the news only with Aunt May, she was surprised at his career shift, yet she instinctively believed that scientists had better prospects than reporters and earned more.
"Boss, is this our workplace?"
"Yes, although the facilities are a bit old, rest assured that I have purchased the most advanced equipment available on the market, and it will be here soon."
"No, I didn't mean that. Although these devices are not the most advanced, they are still much better than what I had in school. But after searching for so long, why haven't I seen any colleagues?"
"Colleagues, do you mean those idiots? They've spent more than 30 years researching second-rate products. What's the use of such people? I fired them all."
"What? I checked it on the Internet. Professor Cundy also works in this institute, so you even fired him? He is very prestigious in genetics."
"You mean the old man with the gray beard? He came to me with a report yesterday, showing the latest progress of his research, and he asked me to purchase the latest equipment for him."
"But when I read his report, I knew that this old man's life was wasted because his research direction was completely wrong. Perhaps it should be said that the schools he represents are all foolish. After I scolded him for half an hour, he voluntarily resigned."
The little spider felt immense pressure, fearing he would be fired without results. But how could scientific breakthroughs come easily, especially for a newcomer? Did this mean he was also easily expendable?
No, not at all. With a monthly salary of $10,000 and an annual bonus, Peter Parker could not afford to be fired. Fearing the consequences of being fired twice in a row and the damage it would do to his resume, he resolved to work diligently.
"Mr. Herbert, don't worry, I will work hard."
"Well, the young man has this kind of mentality, so let's get started."
"Now, I think it's better to get used to it for a few days. After all, I haven't touched a scientific instrument for a while. Of course, you have the final say. So, what are we going to study?"
Jude pointed to the jar in the freezer: "The monster venom that fought with you the day before yesterday, I specially collected its flesh and blood because I am very curious about the biological structure of the symbiote."
"For example, where is their upper limit? What are their characteristics? Can they be artificially bred and cultivated? Can they be used to make biological weapons or clothing, or even as materials for human cloning?"
Jude knew that starting the Phoenix Project wasn't easy. Basic raw materials were needed for thousands of cloned bodies. The original book didn't explain what material Grandpa used for cloning, but every time he was reborn, he remained an ordinary human. Jude speculated it might involve the flesh and blood of some mammal.
After pondering, Jude decided to try various methods to find the strongest clone that best met his needs. Opening the jar, he took out the minced meat of the venom, cut it apart, and gave it to the little spider.
"Peter, your first job is to help me analyze the biological structure of this guy. Understand?"
Though the little spider took the minced meat with some disgust, he promised, "Well, I will try my best. After all, I'm also the first person to come into contact with alien creatures."
As the little spider began his analysis, Jude went to another mechanical laboratory and retrieved Tony Stark's Mark V battle armor. At the funeral yesterday, he felt that Stark suspected something. Time to confront him.
But that's better. How can he continue without the challenge? For this arrogant Iron Man, Jude wouldn't let him retain his prestige. He didn't know who the real genius was.
The Mark 5 steel armor's biggest innovation was portability, capable of turning into a suitcase. Though it seemed light, it was weighty. Sacrificing combat functions with conventional titanium alloys reduced its defense and pressure resistance.
Equipped with only two arc pulse guns and a chest cluster gun, its attack ability was weak, serving only for emergencies. Jude devised a plan to defeat Stark with the steel armor, making him realize his insignificance.
Studying for a while, Jude realized his modifications were akin to recreating battle armor. While it seemed fine, he was prepared for the challenge ahead.
