Horny Rabbit

Seeing that the battle is already starting I used [Bounce] and hopped toward the groundhogs while building up some momentum.

The groundhogs and the horned rabbits clashed, claws and horns struck one another in a brutal exchange.

Although the Horned Rabbits were outnumbered 6-4, they were still able to hold on due to their evolved nature.

But even so, the rabbits were naturally weaker than most animals and this remains true even with magic.

Seeing that the Horned Rabbits were able to stand up to the groundhogs in a melee, I started propelling myself from tree to tree while they were busy with the rabbits.

The groundhogs tackled the rabbits, but the rabbits were hardheaded and were able to hold their ground. Seeing that they were outnumbered the Horned Rabbits hopped back for a few moments.

The groundhogs thought that the rabbits were intimidated by them, so they Charged toward them like bulls.

The Horned Rabbits seeing that the groundhogs were rushing in, used [Headbutt] again, but this time they did something new, they pointed their horns at one of the groundhogs and kicked at the ground.

A cloud of dust was left in their wake and blood rained on the floor of dirt.

The horned rabbits pierced through the groundhog at the left-most side of the group and made 4 holes in its stomach.

The groundhog fell to the floor, lifeless.

Seeing this scene, the remaining five groundhogs were stunned in place by the scene.

With all the momentum built up in my legs, it was finally time to strike. With each bounce that I made, the pressure from all the ricochets built up to the point that I was able to create sharp winds in my path.

While doing so, I thought of a new idea for a move, I added some spins whenever I launched from one tree to another, and this created a spiraling wind built up around my body.

Although it seems that I can make my attacks stronger by adding more flair and tricks to my skills, It does take a toll on me to the point that I damage myself.

Seeing that the groundhogs were in a stupor, I finally used [Kick] on the tree behind them, then charge through.

The groundhogs finally left their state of confusion and suddenly felt a strong pressure from their backs, they saw a rabbit encased in sharp winds come crashing down on them, the four groundhogs on the side were quick on their feet and were able to jump fast, away from the trajectory of the whirlwind.

Being the primary target, all the pressure from the attack was focused on the groundhog that was in the middle, who felt weak from the sheer amount of strain that he shouldered.

Then the point of impact came, I used [Headbutt] and pierced right through the groundhog in one fell swoop.

The recoil from the impact and the wind pressure from the built-up whirlwind that formed around my body damaged it.

My fur was stained with blood and my body was full of cuts.

I know that experimenting with some moves while in a real battle is stupid but there is no better place to get experience than to do it in a real setting.

But still, how did I get a title called Horny Rabbit?!

I mean I have a horn and I used my horn to kill them but still horny rabbit? For real?

Haaaaa, seeing that It's no use crying over something like this, I guess I'll just try to ignore it.

When the cloud of dust finally settled down, the groundhogs saw my bloodied state, their bodies went cold from the scene that emerged.

Their brethren, lifeless on the ground with disbelief in their eyes, were filled with rage at the sight of their brother, but what came on top of that feeling is fear.

A mere rabbit that can kill someone like them with a single shot is unheard of unless it was someone that has clearly evolved. The threat of dying made their spirit falter.

Seeing the indecisiveness of the groundhogs to take action, I used [Bounce] again.

The horned rabbits, seeing that I was on the move, rushed toward the four groundhogs. I tried to ricochet among the surrounding trees to build up momentum again but the damage from overexerting myself earlier made me slow down.

The strain on my legs from earlier made me unable to keep up with what I wanted to do.

Although the groundhogs knew that it will be tough for them to survive, they made the decision to fight until the end.

The horned rabbits, already exhausted from all the fighting were marred with bite marks and scratches.

Seeing that they actually confronted the horned rabbits in an enraged state, I used [Bounce] to speed up and hopped towards their back.

With their front busy with the melee, I found the opportunity to finish them off. I used [Kick] on the tree and propelled myself forward in an attempt to lessen their numbers.

But it remained an attempt. Suddenly when I was midair 3 meters until the point of contact, two of the groundhogs turned around toward my direction. The other two, busy with the melee with the horned rabbits slammed the horned rabbits on the ground, pinning them in place.

What was in my face were 2 sharp sets of incisors, they know that they will die today, but it won't stop them from fighting back.

Our life is a life of fighting to survive, the strong will eat the weak and these guys whom I thought were mere mobs and exp chose to embrace their instincts and fought back with all their hearts.

Seeing their giant teeth in front of me I braced myself and used [Headbutt].

My horn pierced through the groundhog on my right with little to no resistance. His injured body was finished off by the hole in his neck.

But despite all of that, he was able to bite me in the shoulder.

Blood spurted from my right shoulder like a fountain, my fur, now the color of rouge.

And from the left, a huge chomp on my cheek. The sharp incisors pierced through my skin.

The groundhog, seeing that I was in an already fragile state, moved for a claw attack. He moved in a feral manner and swiped his sharp claw.

Noticing his action, I used [Kick] at his stomach, the attack connected but he was able to reach my back. The claws opened a huge cut, and blood flowed down my fur.

The groundhog flew toward the dead bodies of the two that slammed down the horned rabbits. I saw one of my own already dead.

The amount of blood that was shed already made a small puddle.

The blood that is trickling down my body, reminds me of my own weakness.

The horned rabbits finished off the remaining groundhog. Stabbing it with their horns.

Blurriness pervaded my vision, but still, I remember, that I am still just a mere rabbit. An animal that is at the bottom of the food chain. Even with all my tricks, I am still weak.
