Magic!!!

Magic!!! This world has magic. With magic, anything can be possible. Those things that couldn't be possible through modern technology can be attainable with magic. I want to learn magic, discover all the secrets this world has and reach the pinnacle of supreme mastery of magic, ha ha ha....' Ravi thought that learning about the existence of magic in this world.

Stella Maribel, mother of the young boy who was lying on the bed frowned her eyebrow seeing her son slightly laughing god knows why. She then asked,

"Son, is there something amusing that you want to share with us?"

"No, it's just...i was wondering when I will completely recover and start learning the magic, he he he."

"Dear, maybe you have forgotten because of hurting your head pretty badly but the matter of fact is that your magical capacity rank is D, which is the lowest rank. It was determined when you were baptized at the age of 10 and after that, you haven't practiced magic for the last 2 years. So, you are still stuck at D rank. So, it will be useless to study magic at this point." His mother explained.

"What!!! " It was like the sky was broken and the land was removed from his feet. His newly weaved dream was shattered just like that.

"No, I don't believe it. There must be a way. A way to increase my magical capacity and then study magic. It isn't impossible, right? Mom....?" Ravi said it out loud, his eyes were teary.

"I am sorry, dear. It is our fault that we didn't practice magic and we didn't belong to any of those magical bloodlines."

"Sob...Sob...Sob" His mother then silently began to weeping.

This left Ravi totally flabbergasted, he tried to abstain his anger and spoke,

"Mom, don't blame yourself. Look, I'm not angry or sad anymore. Don't worry, I will figure out something about this problem and if I can't find anything I will give up, okay? So, don't be sad, mom." He tried to console his mother.

A few minutes later, after the son and mother's crying session, two men entered the room. One was Arthur's father Gilbert Maribel and another one was the healer who came from the Dyfed City. It was his father who spoke first.

"Arthur, I have brought Mr.Warren from the Dyfed City. So, tell him about your problem and he will heal you in a jiffy."

"So, young boy. Care to tell me about your problems." Warren asked Arthur.

"The problem is that I can't remember much of my past and when I try to remember my head hurts badly."

"Oh, it is a head problem then. Looks like it won't be that easy. A two or three-tier healing spell won't work then. I have to cast a tier four spell." He said that looking at Gilbert. Gilbert understood what that meant.

"Please proceed. I just want that my son recovers pretty soon so it doesn't matter the cost." Gilbert said in a serious face.

After that, the healer went beside Arthur and cast a tier four healing spell. As he cast the spell a net-like green colored circle glowed at the healer's hand and then Arthur's body enveloped in the same green light.

As Arthur's body glowed, his head received a mental calmness. He then tried to remember the past. An endless amount of scenes and images stored in his brain, he felt a little pain but it is not the same he felt before.

"So, how are you feeling now?" The healer asked Arthur.

"Now, I can remember almost everything but still there is a little pain, though it is not comparable to pain what I felt before but still there is."

"Oh, don't worry. I will cast a tier-three healing spell again and you will be alright."

As he cast another spell, Arthur's pain completely disappeared from his head.

"Now, I think I'm completely fine," Arthur said his healer.

"Ha ha.Okay then. My work is done here. I will be heading for the city. So, Mr.Gilbert."

"Ah, yes. Please, come this way. Arthur, get rest properly, I will show the way out for Mr.Warren." His father said.

"Okay, dad. Take care of yourself." Arthur said.

As the two men went outside, Arthur looked to his sister and said,

"Sis Lily, sorry for saying something unpleasant."He said this in an apologetic tone.

"Don't fret about it, just let me squeeze those plump cheeks of yours and we will be even," Lily said while making a mischievous face. Arthur didn't give her permission though she got near him and tweaked his chubby cheeks.

"Ouch..."

"Okay, that's enough. Now let him rest.

" I have told the cook to make all of your favorite dishes, so rest well and come for the dinner at the dining hall later, okay?"

"Okay, mom."

"Take a good rest and we will play together tomorrow. " Lily said waving her hand. Then two of them also left the room.

Ravi was all alone in Arthur's body. He remembered all the past events of his host's memory. To say it briefly, Arthur was from a wealthy merchant family who resides at the Estonia district in the Istria Region. He is the only son and successor of the Maribel family. Ravi is happy about Arthur's family, wealth, his own body though it's a bit chubby it is controllable and his status in the family. All he was disappointed about his magical capabilities. At that point, he remembered something. He quickly got up from his bed and checked the drawer of his table. He found a silver plate that's size was about 6X3 square centimeters. He recalled it is called 'Status Card'.

He tried to put into some magic power into the silver plate as he was taught before. As he put magic power the silver plate glowed and showed some data.

"Woah, this is like the RPG game's system that I played when I was young. My intelligence stat is pretty high compared to others. Is it because of two person's minds? Then I will be in trouble if anyone finds out about my intelligence stat. I will have to find out a way to hide my status.

"And my stamina and agility are the lowest. Well, it's expected to look at my body condition.I'll has burned these fats as well as study about this world and magic. Let's start from tomorrow and rest first." Arthur put the status plate in his drawer and lied down on the bed to rest.
