CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO - Silence echoes in my head.

You don't care for me. Before continuing, Lily sighed in annoyance and shook her head. Are you coming or not?" Alex turned her head away while furrowing his brows.

She yelled at him out of fury, not giving a damn about Alex's stage presence.

She drove slowly, occasionally casting glances at Alex. Her lips curled into a faint smile as she noticed his dozing form next to her. Do you recall how we used to stay outside while our parents went to take care of business? She wasn't expecting Alex. Lily exhaled a long sigh. "No." You think I'm evil, don't you? Alex's lips received a kiss from Emily. Rolling her eyes, Lily set a glass of water down on the dining room table. She was going to leave as Alex pulled Emily aside, but she halted at her track. "STOP IT, WHY ARE YOU GETTING SO CLOSE TO ME?" MOVE AWAY, I'M A MARRIED MAN. He yelled at her and pulled out his wedding ring, shocking both of the ladies. "Alex-,

"WHAT? WHY DO YOU CONSTANTLY Concentrate ON ME? YOU ARE SO HORRIBLE. Embarrassed, Emily lowered her head and stared at Lily. Lily cocked an eyebrow and shook her head.

From there, Emily walked away without saying anything. Lily cried with laughter at Emily's expression. She appeared to be in a rage, "S-she looked so mad." Alex turned his attention to Lily. He was joyful. After a long while, his heart finally warmed. He was giving her a tender look. That Alex missed her was lost on him.

"What?" As Lily stopped giggling, she questioned. Shaking his head, Alex motioned for her to approach him. Unaware of what had happened to her, she obeyed his finger cues in a subservient manner. Prior to him, Lily came to a stop. No one dared to speak as they locked eyes and stared at each other. She was forced to sit on Alex's lap while he was on the couch. She was totally absorbed in Alex's gaze. Lily's heart was probed by Alex's stare as he turned from her eyes to her lips. Under his domineering glare, she was too surprised to speak in a fully submissive manner. Lily was in his spell as Alex peered into her eyes and asked for her approval. She closed her eyes, signalling that she would also like a kiss from him. Alex grinned and gently kissed her lips. Their lips begin to move gently and rhythmically.

Lily encircled Alex's neck with her arms, and he encircled her little waist with his. To intensify their kiss, Alex cocked his head. As the kiss became rough, he began gently massaging her back.

Without breaking the kiss, Alex got up and walked to his room while wrapping her legs around his waist. After kissing her, Alex placed her on the bed and stopped to take a breath. She was unable to speak because he was too absorbed in her. Lily lost all sense of direction as her mind went blank. She relished his touch. Alex kissed her wetly and sweetly as he moved his lips from her lips to her jawline.

Lily clenched the bedsheet as his kisses touched her neck, her stomach filled with a lot of butterflies. She let out a satisfied groan as Alex began to lick and sucking her neck. Alex approached her cleavage while grinning. As he began to kiss her there, she grabbed Alex's hair. Once more, Alex put his lips on her and began kissing her violently.

Lily pushed him slightly after opening her eyes. "S-stop." He was regretfully left behind as she jumped up and hurried to the restroom. Lily sighed as the chilly water caressed her body after turning on the shower. "Why did I do it, exactly? I was very helpless around him.

James gave Mr Smith a shoulder pat before proceeding to the launch. I don't have much time, so hurry. Mr. Smith rushed over to him as soon as he realized what would happen.
