CHAPTER TWENTY - Knives Playing

James got out of the car and walked toward the hospital's door while battling his ill feelings. He went into the hospital and began looking for Lily, hoping for the best.

In order to wait her turn, Lily went to the reception.

She was buried in gloomy thoughts as she walked idly in the center of the street. She merely desired to disappear.

James nodded as Lily explained the details of her father's case and the available proof.

"I am here with you." After telling him what was on her mind, she instantly felt lighter. "Thank you, James." Don't thank me, I say. You two are close, right? Lily giggled and made several baby-like head nods. Do you intend to retake your father's business, then? Yes, I no longer have faith in the Smith family. They are full of falsehoods and secrets.
