CHAPTER TEN - Not Yours, Mine

When she was ready to get in the car, James held her hand. Lily made an effort to escape her hold. She cried out while she was being held by James, "Leave me." She turned around and he drew her close to him. Why are you doing that? Lily hesitated. James sighed and continued to look intently into her eyes. She scowled and her eyes darkened as she asked, "You don't love me, right?"

She remained silent and stared at him incoherently. Respond, Lily.

James kindly questioned her once more as his eyes softened and he realized how heartless she was at the moment.

She grinned in agony and turned her head away.

"Love? "I am capable, but I do not deserve to be loved." She regrettably pulled away from him and climbed inside the vehicle. "Don't come near me. I'm currently married. Lily warned him and sped off. He sighed as he looked down.

Emily walked into the living room and yawned while rubbing her eyes. After observing Alex working on the laptop with a charming pout, she noticed a slight smile forming on her lips. She moved to annoy him while giggling. The laptop was pulled away as she leaped into his lap. He quickly twisted his arms around her waist to prevent her from falling.

"You're awake?" As she lavished him with kisses, Alex questioned. "I still feel sleepy." She complained while burrowing her face into Alex's neck. He grinned and gave her a firm embrace. He laughed as he felt ticklish when Emily gave him a gentle neck kiss. "Stop, S-stop, Emily." Alex chuckled as he said.

She was thrown onto the couch as Alex watched over her. You have been misbehaving since last night. She drew him in by his collar as he grinned at her.

"Daddy, I want you." In response to her remarks, Alex grinned even wider and leaned in for a kiss. I'm sorry. I had no intention of seeing you both at this time.

Lily muttered before eluding them. Alex rose up and rolled his eyes in shame. I'll speak with her. He received her nod before leaving. Lily retrieved her comfortable clothing from her wardrobe. She sighed and began to take her clothes off. Alex entered her room while her shirt lay on the floor. The door to the room was still shattered. When he caught sight of Lily's naked body, his eyes became wider. He turned back and mentally swore at himself. "I am so_" How did you end up here? Alex is cut off by Lily.

Alex sat on the bed after taking a long breath. The question, "Where were you?" He enquired out of worry. She laughed ironically. No concern of yours.

As her phone rang and James's name rang out, she said and got up from the bed. Alex gritted his teeth. James had now enraged him.

Indeed, I'm coming. After hanging off the phone, Lily grabbed her car keys. Alex grabbed her wrist and drew her back to him just as she was about to depart.

"Reply to me if I'm questioned." His resentment, which was clear in his eyes and face, was directed at her. "I SAID IT WASN'T MY BUSINESS. Please don't touch me again; I feel repulsive. She yelled at him and violently jerked his hand. She was furious and panting a lot.

"Don't come near me or touch me with these hands." Alex was looking at Lily with confusion as she pointed to his hand. She made a forceful exit from the room, leaving him all by himself.

Lily froze as she saw Emily standing there with a sinister grin on her lips. Emily said with a playful "hey."

Lily shook her head and made an attempt to veer to the side, but Emily once more blocked her path. The question "What do you want?" Lily questioned her icily.

Emily grinned while shaking her head. "I already own what I desire. You no longer have anything to offer me. She laughed while examining Lily's expressionless face. You currently have nothing to lose other than your soul.

Lily grinned after heaving a heavy sigh and shaking her head.

"Well done," I said. Emily was stunned speechless by what she said. The same mentality. Emily sat on the couch while gritting her teeth.

To Mr. and Mrs. Kim, Lily bowed.

They nodded and grinned as well. Mr. Jones. This is how. The manager of Lily led the way. They all followed after she nodded and did so. Lily's eyes grew wide as she focused on a man who was suffering from a serious illness. The question "Who is he?" Lily requested and covered her face with a mask due to an overpowering odor. He is the case's witness, but someone put him in this awful situation. They gave a nod. Lily approached him and knelt down at his eye level.

The large crowd made him wince as he made an effort to rise up. "Calm down; we are here to assist you." Lily spoke with a worried tone and a lowered gaze.

"He is speechless. They forced him.

Dumb." Her boss told her about Lily.

She sighed and turned to go when the man abruptly grabbed her hand and put a pen drive in it. She immediately hid herself after he nodded, realizing his dread.

As he finished his duties in this world, the man grinned and closed his eyes.

He is now waiting for another world.

LIly smiled while covering his eyes with her palms. They acknowledged, "He is gone."

His body was taken away by ambulance.

As the ambulance sped away in front of Lily's eyes, she let out a long sigh. What's inside? As she walked to her car, she said.

When her phone rang, Lily was going to get into her car but decided against it.

A large container slammed into her automobile out of nowhere and took off running. She took a quick look at her automobile and saw that it was in terrible shape. Lily answered the phone.

Don't mess with us, or you'll be in the car the next time. Her pupils scowled.

Who is present? The call was abruptly terminated. She had severe hand trembling, and her brow was dripping with perspiration. She said under her breath, "W-what's going on here?"

When Alex overheard Lily's vehicle news on the phone, his eyes widened.

He started to worry about her. I hope Lily is doing well. He muttered something under his breath and exhaled heavily. He shook his head as he cast a quick peek towards Emily as she slept. Alex's eyes glowed as he caught sight of a recognizable figure entering the house after a long day. He rushed over to her and gave her a bear embrace. She was panting furiously, so Alex gave her a gentle touch on the back to settle her down. "They intimidated me." She pushed him a little while whispering.

I asked, "How many times will I tell you to stay away from me?" She said in a trembling tone. Alex's eyes grew kinder. Let me reassure you. Despite Alex's request, she yanked his hand away.

"LEAVE ME ALONE AND STAY HERE."

DON'T GET CLOSE TO ME AGAIN. She shouted loudly before walking away.
