"But I've never provoked you..." Luffy looked at the painful faces of his relatives and said, feeling a bit wronged.

"Words of the weak." Kaido gave him a disdainful look and then threw him to the ground with a flick of his wrist.

This prince still thought he was living in the home of a pirate.

The life of pirates and criminals is filled with lawlessness, survival of the strong, and only the stronger can make rules to restrain others.

Provoking someone can be a big or small thing, and the reasons can vary. Sometimes even looking at someone can be a reason.

What's more, Kaido once saw a future where Luffy provoked him and knocked him down.

Now that he has a great opportunity, how can he let it go?

Luffy, shaken by Kaido, sat on the ground, never taking his eyes off Rayleigh and Dragon.

However, the next moment, Kaido raised his mace and swung it at Sabo.

A force was thrown from it, passing through the air and hitting the target directly.

Rumble!

Flesh and blood burst, and the unconscious Sabo was hit by this blow. Half of the earth sank, and his body exploded, the blood mist condensing in front of him.

"Sabo!!!!"

"Ah!!!!!!"

Luffy's fingers clenched into the dirt as he cried out.

That's his big brother! That was his last big brother!

Sabo, whom he thought had died when he was a child, was now really dead in front of his eyes!

Why! Why come to my rescue!

Damn it! Damn it! Abominable, hateful!

I'd rather not know you're alive, Sabo! I don't want you to lose your life trying to save me...

Ace is already dead... None of our brothers have even reunited yet...

He hasn't even been happy to be reunited with Sabo. He has been hurt by Kaido and is in powerless despair.

The brother he hasn't seen for many years is once again separated by death, just like Ace that time...

The injury almost shattered his heart and sanity.

"The first one," Kaido said lightly.

Then he raised his arm again and waved it at Rayleigh. "This is the second one."

"No! No! Don't do it anymore..." Luffy crawled on the ground like a dog, holding out a hand towards Kaido and pleading.

But Kaido wouldn't listen to him, and he attacked again.

Immersed in pain, Luffy had completely lost the will to resist. He couldn't even use his defense, and Rayleigh's body shattered, his head disappearing.

The remaining half of the face still had a pained and hideous expression with numb gray eyes.

Compared to the pain he was suffering, death seemed like a relief to him.

"Rayleigh..." Luffy's whole body went weak, and his arm slipped and fell, his chin crashing to the ground.

He also stretched out a hand toward his master, as if trying to grasp something in the air.

Biting his trembling lips, his snot wouldn't stop dripping.

"Rayleigh! Don't!"

"Huh!!!!! Woo!!!!"

Howling again, he kept a crawling position, moving towards the three of them.

He wanted to tell himself that all this was fake, that it was all an illusion,

For this, he had to find reasons within them to convince himself.

As he got closer, the bloody aura became even stronger, confirming that it was all true. This middle ground between illusion and reality seemed to peel off his skin. Kaido looked down at Luffy, who was crawling away, without any emotion, and decisively swung the mace in his hand again.

The mace came down again, with even more force, hitting the ground beneath Dragon, causing a depression several meters deep. Dragon's entire body turned into blood-colored smoke and marks, suspending in mid-air before being blown away.

The explosion disappeared right before Luffy's eyes, and blood splattered onto his face, even getting into his eyes, mouth, and airways, making it hard to breathe. Luffy had no time to care about his physical discomfort; the deaths of his loved ones caused him great psychological trauma.

"Father... Father!!!"

With tears streaming down his face, Luffy crawled on all fours to look at Dragon's remaining head in the pit, weeping bitterly. He cried loudly, tears, snot, and saliva mixing as he sobbed on the edge of the pit. He had never felt his father's love nor seen him before. He never expected the first time he saw his father would be him fighting hard for him, let alone dying in front of him.

He wished it was all a nightmare and that everyone would wake up. But everyone was dead... all dead...

Luffy turned his neck stiffly, looking at the two people next to him as if his heart was being cut by a knife. His eyes were empty and desperate. Among the ruins of the auction hall, the rubble trembled, and two unconscious figures were carried out by a flame cloud.

"Fourth and fifth."

Raging flames burned from the flame cloud, instantly consuming the two bodies wrapped in it.

"Franky! Chopper!" Luffy screamed, his voice filled with despair. "No!!!"

He thought they would be forgotten under the rubble and escape the disaster. Unexpectedly, Kaido pulled them out at the last moment and burned them completely, not even giving them a chance to react. One was covered in steel, and the other in fur; both were most afraid of flames.

He had lost Usopp, Brook, Sabo, Rayleigh, and Dragon...

Seven of his closest people were gone...

Suddenly, the immense blow crushed him like a mudslide, breaking his spirit. His sanity was buried under his overwhelming grief.

Luffy kneeled on the ground, looked up at the sky, and with his whole body weak, let out a final, miserable cry,

"Ah!!!!!!!"
