For a moment, Kaido even felt like he had become Akainu. He wondered if, by punching Luffy now, someone would come to block the attack and be hit through the chest. However, it was clear that within a ten-kilometer radius, no enemies of Kaido were still alive and able to move freely.

Blinking and then taking a deep look at Luffy, Kaido raised his arm, ready to deliver the final blow. This battle had dragged on for far too long.

A strong wind whipped up around the mace, and with great power and precision, he swung it towards Luffy's head. But in the next moment, Luffy instinctively leaned over and lowered his body, avoiding the mace.

Kaido's eyes narrowed slightly. This guy... He's starting to fight back again. But it's still just a struggle before death.

"I saw... Kaido..." Luffy murmured, his eyes rolling and gradually changing back to a tired, sad look. But there was a new light in his eyes, a bright light filled with vengeful anger. Only one thing could have such an effect: hope.

Kaido saw this and withdrew his mace, resting it on his shoulder, and said mockingly, "Saw a short future? Feeling confident again?"

Seeing and predicting the future was not a profound technique, and it wouldn't make a significant difference. In battles among the weak, it might give an overwhelming advantage, but among the strong, it was insignificant. The fight wasn't a game of predicting predictions. Only strength and superior skills really mattered.

Luffy paused, the light of hope and the flame of revenge in his eyes trembling a little. He had just seen a vision of being knocked out in the future and had evaded it, which gave him some confidence to confront Kaido. He thought that with this power, he might be able to defeat Kaido.

But as the mace swung towards his face again, Kaido's contemptuous voice taunted him, "Want to take another look?"

Luffy's eyes widened, trying to control the power to dodge again, but all he saw was a blank. No Kaido, no iron rod, only the image of himself already falling. Kaido's top-level skills allowed him to remain unseen in Luffy's foresight of the future.

Bang!!! The black-red figure, like a large cannonball, flew out and smashed into the ground not far away, bouncing continuously and raising a huge cloud of dust and smoke. Kaido's feet bounced off the ground, which collapsed like a cobweb, and his body burst towards Luffy.

Activating his advanced skills, Kaido not only ensured that Luffy couldn't see his future but also completely countered Luffy's attacks. Turning sideways gently, he dodged the King Ape Spear and came at Luffy again, hitting him high and far.

Rumble!!! Luffy's figure flew backward into the mangrove tree, smashing a crack in it. Luffy coughed up a mouthful of blood, and the feeling of powerlessness resurfaced. "Can't hit... I'm afraid he can also foresee the future..."

Kaido was so fast that Luffy couldn't land a hit at all.

"I won't wait to die like I did two years ago," Luffy thought to himself. With the remaining Haki and stamina, he could die standing. He quickly had an idea. He would change the state of the elastic man in the fourth gear to create an extremely fast attack move.

"It's called... Snake Man," Luffy thought to himself as gas was released from his nose and mouth. His figure gradually became thinner, but it was still much stronger than his usual self. Dark red armed Haki covered his body.

He watched Kaido's flying figure and compressed his arm like the ape king gun. "Rubber rubber... Jet Snake Cannon!" His arm elongated towards the sky, then turned ninety degrees in mid-air, continuing to stretch in a different direction. Watching his arm catapult in mid-air, Kaido felt no emotion. In a few blinks, he flew in front of Luffy and playfully looked at Luffy's hateful eyes. He moved his head to the side. 

Luffy's dark red fist rushed out of the empty space behind Kaido. Although it was fast, Kaido dodged it. The fist instead smashed straight into Luffy's face, distorting his features. 

Watching Luffy punch himself, Kaido said lightly, "Stupid, all show and no substance." He picked up his mace and dragged Luffy into the ruins. The rubber arm in the sky, resembling a complicated water pipe, was smashed back. 

The rubber figure tumbled several times in the ruins, breaking reinforced concrete before being buried. But Kaido didn't stop. He burst out of the air, raised the mace, and delivered a final blow with Emission and Haki.

Luffy had just pushed away the concrete and stood up straight, ready to fight back. But the mace struck him directly on the head. Instantly, Luffy's brain became muddled, and his eyes and teeth bulged. 

"Ragnarok!" Kaido shouted.

Bang! The entire ruins were dented again. The mangroves creaked, and the island's huge roots seemed to break. The coastline was smashed, surrounding waves churned, and cracks spread across the island, making it seem like it might collapse into the sea at any time.

In the center of the impact, Luffy's head was dented. His body bubbled with heat, and his armed Haki and fourth gear quickly dissipated. He became his original thin self and fell straight down. His breath was gone.

Kaido stood, clenching his mace, making sure Luffy wouldn't recover. After a moment, Luffy's body didn't change.

Nearby, Hancock cried, soaking the ground beneath her. It was finally over. 

But just as Kaido was about to leave, the corpse beneath him changed again.
