After chanting for a while the knights finally calmed themselves down and went back to their posts.
The healers quickly went to heal the Knight's captains who were gravely injured and others stayed on the lookout for other enemies.
Though no one was saying anything about it they all were feeling the shame of the behavior and act they have shown today.
After a while of searching and staying on guard for the enemy, the emergency level was lowered.
For some reason after the demon was killed the Holy City barrier was functional again which helped to elevate some stress from the knights.

Walking inside the hall of the Knights headquarters Ryuu made his way toward his room. Reaching in front of the gate he opened it and swiftly entered the room and closed the door.
Putting his sword on the table he plunged himself into his soft bed and gave a satisfied groan.
"Even after all this training it still hurts to use that move," Ryuu said as he turned his body around with him facing the ceiling.
Normally Ryuu wouldn't have done such a strong attack against such a weak enemy but as Luminous was watching he thought he might as well put on a show.
"I should leave the city soon," Ryuu said as he stood up and sat in his bed.
He had felt like his strength had become stagnant for a while after staying in the same place for so long.
Sparring with Hinata is a good form of training but after a while, all the variety disappears. Plus the only person among the knights who can fight with him on equal terms is Hinata so he has gotten quite bored.
Ryuu put his hands forward and let his energy flow through it in higher concentration. The hands were covered by a purple and gold aura with purple being in more amount.
"Sigh, Why isn't it improving," Ryuu said with a sigh. He had been trying to improve his energy level to gold but for some reason, it is not happening.
Ryuu asked True Sage to analyze it but even she couldn't come up with an exact answer. So the only way left is to try evolution into a saint like Hinata.
" HMmmmmmmmm...Hinata should return by evening so let's repair the damage done to the building by Sare." Ryuu said and disappeared from the place he was standing.

Just as Ryuu had thought all the knights that left with Hinata arrived sometime during the evening. None of them were injured and the only reason they were arriving during the evening was due to the traveling distance.
In the city they had gone, as Hinata entered the battle in a matter of minutes she cleaned up almost 70% of the demons present there and left the remaining demons for the Knights to handle.
As Hinata entered the city the Knights stopped every emergency siren and the citizens were allowed to come out of the bunkers.
Hinata and the other captains were quickly informed of the incident that had happened today with the heroic deed of Ryuu.
"I understand, All of you stay on guard and I want the captains to make a group of two and surround the city," Hinata spoke after listening to the knight.
"Understood Hinata Sama." All of the shouted even the Rook Knights Captains.
Then HInata slowly made her way toward the Knight's headquarters After all Sare was absent and Hinata had an inclination to what had happened.
Entering the currently empty building Hinata made her way toward the office. As she opened the door and looked toward her desk there were some files put there.
She made her way toward her desk and gave the files a quick read. After finishing reading it Hinata put it down as she understood what had happened.
"Thank you for your work," Hinata said.
"No problem and don't try to find me as I am currently in my room sleeping." A voice said behind her and with a pop sound a gentle breeze was felt in the room.
"Doesn't he sleep early," Hinata said and sat on her chair and managed the new files she had gotten.
"I wonder why does Luminous Sama not want to meet with him." Hinata pondered to herself while doing the paperwork.
With that the day ended and a new day began. This day can be said to be quite informatic and hectic for the citizens and knights of the holy city.
Just this morning the holy emperor had held a speech in front of all the people of the city. He talked about the attack they had suffered and other things they already knew at first.
But the real shock started when he told them about the betrayal of Sare of the Rook Knights captain.
Due to this, he was formally stripped of his post and his death has also been confirmed.
It was stated that the one who stopped Sare's evil plan was Ryuu which greatly increased his already high fame.
Due to all the good deeds done by Ryuu and his saving the city from the demon he was declared "The Hero" by the emperor.
This made Ryuu the first hero of this era and due to this being announced by the Holy Empire in a matter of half a day this information was spread throughout the western countries.
And the response Ryuu had to this announcement can be told in a single sentence.
"Wow a Demon Lord is declaring me a hero."
Ryuu didn't mind it as he didn't care what the general populace thought of him but he dreaded his future interaction with people he was close to.
Hinata had already started to tease him though indirectly and he knew that Yuuki wouldn't take any stops to make fun of him.
"Sigh, whatever let my future self deal with it." Ryuu said and cooked himself some food
