Omniverse: The Orderless Worlds

In a room colored completely white, you can smell the strong stench of medicines. A group of doctors and nurses leave that room in complete silence. Inside the room, you can see a boy of about 20 years old sleeping on the bed.

The boy is looking outside the window with a look of longing in his eyes. The boy so wishes that he could also enjoy the outside world but fate is cruel if it gives something to others it also takes something from others.

In the case of this boy it's his freedom now it seems even his life. Tearing his gaze away from the window the boy looks at the pile of books lying in a bookshelf near his hospital bed.

In fact, all those books are manga and novels that the boy read during his ten-year-long stay in the hospital.

The boy suffered from cancer due to a genetic defect and at that time the doctors suspected he would die in but a year or two. In fact, it even is a miracle that the boy is still alive.

However, the reason for his will to survive is in itself unknown to the boy. He himself questions his reasoning for survival If he had given up he would have long been freed from this hell.

Some may wonder if he survived for his parents but he doesn't even remember his parent's face at this point. After admitting him to a government hospital his parents haven't even come to visit him once.

At this point, the boy's entire worldview has been created by all the manga and novels he has read. Though it may not be the best worldview it is at least something.

"Well, I guess my time has come," said the boy weakly to nobody.

Looking at the sealing of his hospital room he said" I wish I also got reincarnated as those novel protagonists that go on such surreal adventures through the multiverse."

After saying that he let out a sigh and said" Well it's only my wishful thinking. Like hell, those types of things happen in real life. I must have been influenced by those commenters in novels."

Giving one last gaze to the outside he closed his eyes and waited for his impending death. Then as if in queue his body started to fill cold all the heat in his body being lost. He was never truly afraid of death and even today feeling his life slipping away he was calm in fact the most calm he was in his entire life.

His heart slowed down then finally it completely stopped marking the end of his life.

The room descended into complete silence. Such silence that even a pin drop can be heard. It was in all ways abnormal as it was a hospital room where a patient died.

After a moment of silence, a sudden sound was heard as if millions of leaves were rustling in the wind. It happened for a moment then the body of the boy's body started to get covered by a green fog.

The green fog turned to yellow then the yellow to blue.

Finally, the blue fog turned to a milky white color. The color coated the entire body of the boy. Then as if an illusion the colors faded and the room returned to complete normalcy.

Well, that is if we look at it with a normal person's eyes. If a death god or any god in fact was there then they would have seen the spectacle that happened today.

The fog covering the boy seeped into his body and reached his soul. The fog tried to merge with the boy's soul and met no resistance.

The boy's body greedily absorbed the boy feeling a sense of familiarity from the fog as if it was something that belonged to it. After the fog was completely absorbed the boy's soul began to leave the boy's body.

As the soul left a pillar of light was shot out of it to the sky but nothing in the physical world was damaged. But it cannot be said for the non-physical world.

The beam of light shredded through the world barrier like a scissor to paper. A giant crack was formed for a millionth of a second in the world barrier and it was all it took for the soul to leave the world barrier.

While all this was happening the boy was still in a sleep-like state. The boy's soul started its journey looking like a comet for any onlookers that say it.

It continued its journey through the vastness of the void. For how long? No one knows because there is no concept of time in this part of the omniverse. As the light made its journey steadily it came across another streak of light golden this time that blocked its way.

Both streaks of light collided and came to a halt from an outsider's perspective one can see the golden light is both greater in quantity and quality. Then how was the milky white light able to block its way? The answer is quite simple.

[ Energy of unknown source detected.]

[ Scanning the energy. The energy is identified as origin energy]

[A soul has been found inside the origin energy. Scanning the soul…... The soul's compatibility with the shard of the omniverse is 100%.]

[Perfect inheritor detected. Trying to merge with the soul. Merging failed.]

[Origin energy is stopping the merging]

[More power used 10%. Merging initializing...… Merging failed]

[20% used...…Failed]

[30%....]

[Failed]

[40%.....Failed]

[50% used initializing merging...Merging successful]

As the completed its word the milky white light and the golden light merged forming a new color. At first, the new color was pure white the streak of gold and purple started to appear around it.

[Locating destination for souls rebirth... Scanning the omniverse. World found. Traveling to the world]

Then the new light started its journey and the void descended again into complete silence.

Currently, no one knows what effects will this change have on the future of the Omniverse.

In a normal-looking Japanese house, the first ray of sunlight hit indicating the arrival of morning. Inside the house, in the comfort of the bed, you can see a young boy maybe around the age of 14. sleeping. Then the sunlight hit his face through the window.

Disturbed by the sunlight the boy woke up. Rising from the bed the boy opened his eyes. His eyes were beautiful crystal blue as if a part of the sky itself and with his beautiful black hair and cute face it can be said that he will be a looker in the future.

But in this current moment, there was only confusion written on his face. The boy looked around the room then as if hit by a sudden headache he clenched his head.

1st person pov-

I was floating in complete darkness for who knows how long. The ray of light suddenly hit me. I opened my eyes groggily as if awoken from a long slumber. I look around the unfamiliar room around me.

I am utterly confused shouldn't I have died? Why am I suddenly in this unfamiliar room? Perhaps I got reincarnated into another world.

As I was shorting out my thoughts a headache of such strength that I haven't felt in all my life hit me. As if the dam was opened floods of memories of ten years of life started to flow inside my mind. I held my head out of instinct those memories continued to flow inside my mind for but a second but it seemed like ten years had passed for me.

As I regained myself a small hand held my hand.

" Oni chan are you alright"

"Oni chan you wouldn't leave Sora like mother, father, and Haru Oni chan would you"

"will You wawawawawa"

A small girl's voice was heard and a sobbing sound was heard. I turned around to see a crying girl around 8 years old. She had long gray hair and a cute face.

Taking the small girl in a gentle hug I said" Don't worry sora your brother will never leave you" and gently patted her head.

As if calming down she said" Promise."

"Yes promise"

"then make a pinky promise that you will never leave Sora"

"I pinky promise never to leave Sora"

As if relieved by my promise she fell asleep while hugging me. I gently pulled her out of the hug and placed her on the bed. She caught my hands tightly saying Oni chan as if scared that I would run away. I took out my other hand gently at her head smiling.

"So it seems I truly have been reincarnated into a new world," he said to himself. So I have reincarnated in this world ten years ago and it seems my memory was sealed as the baby's brain wouldn't have been able to process my memories. I was an orphan till the age of three and lived in an orphanage then I saved a boy named Haru from a car accident. His parents thanked me and after knowing that I was an orphan they adopted me previously my name was only Ryuu but after being adopted and joining the Kusugano family it became Kusugano Ryuu. That year sora was born. Then our family became a family of five.

We were a happy family until three days ago when our parents and Haru died. Yesterday's funeral was completed and now there is only me and my sister left in the family.

"Sigh, I guess even in this life I won't be able to enjoy a nice family life" though I guess I did reincarnate into the anime world.

I thought as I looked at my sister. I wonder what life will have for me this time I thought as I gazed outside my window.
