Chapter 21: Reverse Raid

Far away from the sleeping group were eyes watching them.

Stepping out from a bush a 8ft tall demonic looking wolf appeared. It had jagged rock like spikes from its shoulders, missing patches of fur, a yellow/green saliva dripping from its mouth. It lifted its head sniffing the air.

"They are their brother" the wolf said with a low growl.

Behind her out walked a human male that looked deformed. He had patches of green skin and boils covering his entire body. His robe was ripped randomly showing weird writing on his body. He carried a staff similar to the goblin shaman, minus the gem stone. Behind these two were 3 dozen goblins with clubs, a dozen goblin Berserks and two medium sized abominations.

The horde crept towards the group sleeping.

Inside the garage. The group was sound asleep.

[Lazy. Wake up. Enemies are approaching]

Lazy slowly got up slightly dazed and confused.

[Enemies? What are you talking about?]

Before Astap could reply the garage door burst open in an explosion. The giant hole in the door was slightly ablaze. The shockwave shook the bus and slammed it into the wall. The entire group immediately got up. Before they could get into their gear the back door to the bus was clawed open.

Hellacious was half into the bus looking at the group with a toothy smile. The group was frozen in fear. Even Tantrum was under the bed where Swift slept. They read her name above her head. They had no idea what was going on. Why was another player working for the goblins? Did they fail?

Hellacious started to use her strength to tilt the bus upward forcing the group to start to slide towards her. Power raised up his hand creating a solid Ice sphere and allowed it to roll towards her.

Boom!

The sphere was shattered to pieces by her claw. The group could see the horde of goblins coming into the garage.

Lazy started to reach into his newly made backpack and yelled.

"Grimm! Get to the drivers seat. Go full reverse when I give the signal."

Grimm moved from bed to seat starting the bus. Hellacious started to climb into the bus to stop the group.

"Wind Blade" Lazy yelled. Swift couldn't grab his sword so he just used his hand. He sent out a much weaker Wind blade. Taking a huge gamble Lazy threw a pizza sized metal disk into the blade. Being not as strong it didn't cut the device but sent it flying above the beast into the crowd behind her. Hellacious tried to bite the device only to lightly cut her nose from the blade. Black blood trickled down her nose. The device soared through the air into the horde crossing through the hole. As it landed on an abomination gliding across the ground it exploded!

Boom! Sheeeiimmmm

The entire horde and surrounding area was frozen solid. Even RifterMax was caught in the blast. Hellacious looked back at the group with fury in her eyes.

Thud!

Powers warhammer was thrown hitting Hellacious between the eyes. She yelped in pain and crawled out of the bus. Grimm floored it running her over and shattering almost all of the horde. With a loud clash the bus broke through the garage door into the parking lot. Pulling a U-turn Grimm started to drive off. Nitro was in the turret unloading lead into the remaining horde but mainly focusing on the beast now chasing them. Even using his skills the bullets were having little affect on Hellacious. Half the bullets were bouncing off while nearly the other half was getting stuck. Only about 10% were actually hurting her.

As the group drove awake RifterMax somehow avoided the gunfire and started to unfreeze himself. A orange red glow started at the center of his body and started to thaw him out. He broke out landing on the ground. He was filled with anger after seeing this situation. Looking around seeing these goblins frozen he started to attack them with spells.

Grimm was driving the bus away from the garage down the road. It was near defining as the bus hit each car on the road.

"Grimm" Swift shouted "head to the goblin fort! We are going to take them down since their army is gone!"

Grimm hit the brake turning back around. They were facing Hellacious in her wolf form charging towards them. Playing chicken, Grimm sped up. As they got closer it was like slow motion.

Hellacious jumped towards the bus, aiming at Grimm. Her claws were stretched out going for his neck. They both watched as a thin layer of ice appeared on the roof of the car and quickly shot upwards.

Boom!

The beast crashed into the ice wall and fell to the side. The wall broke apart shattering the glass. Grimm took some damage from the shards but was overall safe. Power quickly created a small ice wall saving the group from beast. Still on the turret Nitro unleashed another volley of lead onto the unconscious beast. They had a moment to rest. Everyone was on edge and confused about the entire situation. Swift was the first to speak.

"What. The actual fuck happened?! First they broke into our base, Lazy you froze them! How the fuck did you do that?! I thought Power was the only one with ice!"

Picking himself off the ground Lazy muttered "well I asked Power to put his ice power in a vial. Wanted to test if I can make a poison mine normally but have the ice vial instead of poison. Turns out my test was right. Although I think I used all my luck for my entire life with you hitting the mine with an ATTACK and not exploding on impact."

"Well don't forgot the rest of us did shit" Nitro added.

"Yes! Do you know how fucking hard it is to drive a fucking bus through statues made of ice? Oh! And while being fucking chased by another player. I hate PvP. Players are stupid powerful."

"Yeah. What exactly is a fucking Druidic lord?! Is that basically a druid but royalty or just a shapeshifter on steroids?"

Patting Power on the shoulder "I don't know man? Why don't you go ask her? Or should we ask Grimm to. She seemed to like him more" Lazy added with a chuckle.

"Oh fuck off. I'm driving. You boys better be ready. We are almost there"

Lazy climbed up the latter getting Nitros attention. "Hey I made this for you" he said as he opened his bag revealing something. Nitros eyes lit up and he started his maniacal laughter.

The group knew this will be the end of the raid and started to get even more excited.
