As Ian parked his car in the garage, he noticed that the light in his and Nicole's bedroom was still switched on.
He sighed and shook his head. Either his wife was being a workaholic again or she had waited up for him, when he told her to go to sleep.
"Sir?" A maid said as she opened the door for Ian and took his bag.
"Make sure that goes into the safe." Ian instructed. "Did Nicole have dinner already?"
"Yes sir." The maid said with a nod. "She said she had work to do. We brought up some coffee for her."
Ian sighed, Nicole only needed coffee when she had a long night ahead. Ian honestly didn't like it when she had coffee, it meant problems.
"Please bring up some warm milk and snacks." Ian told the maid who nodded and turned to leave. "Also, bring over some antacids." Ian said again, to which the maid nodded once more.
