Meanwhile...

While we were in the living room, Kevin rushed in.

"IS SHE OK?!" screamed Mr.D looking at Kevin, with fear in his eyes.

"She's got a high fever again and fainted, Mr.D. Should we send her to the hospital?"

"No, no.. Call Jane to get Doctor Smith to treat her at home."

While Kevin calls Jane, the personal bodyguard and assistant of Little Moon, I went to Mr.D with a glass of water to calm him down. He seems so worried, maybe because he is not around Little Moon he acts like this.

"Mr. D, calm down first and have a bit of water."

"She's not supposed to have a high fever, due to her previous illness. " He saw my confused look and explained, "A few years back she got viral flu that turned into pneumonia. Took her months to recover. But she's not still 100% healed. And her blood pressure is always below normal."

"Sir, she's being treated and the doctor has given her IV with the medication." Kevin, gave a tab to Mr.D.

"Hi, don't worry... nothing serious..." said the doctor, with a cheerful tone.

"But why did she get the fever suddenly?" asked Mr.D.

"Guess it's due to the weather change. it's started to rain here.."

"Can I see her and will you keep a trained nurse with her."

"Yes, I will. Hmm, she's asleep right now. check for yourself. " He showed Mr.D the room with Little Moon lying in bed with IV.

Lee also stayed at Mr.D's home that night. While Kevin was making tea for all of us in the next morning, Mr.D came in. He seems disturbed and worried and without proper sleep.

"Good morning, Mr.D. I talked with Jane. She said Little Moon's fever has reduced and still asleep."

"Thank you, Kevin. Do you think something has bothered her the past few days?" asked Mr.D while nodding a Good morning to me & Lee.

"Hmm... no nothing in specific. But she got a call from a friend of hers. After that, she has been pretty quiet and has skipped her meals." said Kevin while contacting Jane.

"Mr.D, it seems she had got news about a friend of her's passing."

"Oh.. ok... I will talk to her when she wakes up. George can I talk to you a little."

We went out to the garden when Mr.D told me that even the slightest change could harm Little Moon's health. Even though she's strong in her mind her body is not. He told me she had given up medication five years ago to let her body adjust naturally to fight the illness, but this sudden emotional news can trigger her health.

"You need to keep her mental health happy. That's why I have done everything to protect her well-being from outside." So this is why Mr.D has been monitoring everyone that associates with her. The reason why she avoids people as much as possible.

By evening, Little Moon was up and resting. I was wondering if she was online to have a chat.

"HI Starry.." I send some ice-cream emojis.

She comes online to chat with me..

"Hmm... " This is not her usual happy greeting. I think it's due to the sad news about her friend.

"Where's the happy face I normally get? Is everything ok?"

"It's just that I heard one of my friend's passed away."

"Sorry to hear that. Are you ok?"

"Yes, I am ok. I haven't known anything about them for more than a decade."

"Why, didn't you keep in touch with them?"

"I gave up any communication with them many years ago. And our paths are in different directions, so there had been no reason to keep in touch with them. So how are you and I didn't see any snippets of your writing these days." She asked me.

"I have been a bit busy with no time to write. But I have a lot of new things to write about."

"hmm...I need to go back to sleep Dusky.."

This is unusual for her, normally we talk for about an hour before going offline. I knew she was ill was, but I am not supposed to know about her condition.

"Why don't we play a game of chess for a change..You normally don't go to sleep this early." i inquired.

"I need to relax a little and clear my mind. So I will go to bed early. You take care."

"Ok... Take care and don't think too much."

She went offline. But I realize she is feeling lonely and this is making her tough to handle.

At dinner time I talked with Mr.D about what happened while chatting. He immediately knows what to do to make her feel relaxed.

"Kevin, please call Jane and arrange the beach home for her to spend a few days there."

"Sir, do you want me to send her cousins with her, if they also go she will have some fun with them."

"Hmm.... yes that's good. Arrange them to go with her. Don't let her take any work. Let her relax completely."

Mr.D turned to me and said.

"George, I hope you can understand Little Moon's emotional state. You will have to be extra careful when you go there."

"You mean?" I asked him as I was a little worried she might reject me as a friend.

"The first few days she might study you to understand you from a distance. Then later she will approach you. But don't be afraid you will not be alone at home."

"Does she have someone at home?"

Mr.D laughed and said, "Yes, her small cousin, Ted. He is a campus student. A jolly happy go-around kid. He loves her cousin so much. But I will have to let him know about our little secret."

"Will he help us, Mr.D?"

"Yes, he will do anything for his cousin Moon."

"Oh, then ok. It's good to have another person to help out when I am there."

That night Mr.D introduced me to Ted, through skype. He looks like a friendly all around happy guy, who adores his cousin sister. He had been living with her after her parent's passed away. I felt happy to know about Ted, I hope he can help me sincerely with achieving Mr.D's request.
