Jin sighed - not for the first time that day - and looked around the clearing they were in.
Four boogymen disintegrated on the floor, their masks having been caved in by his swords. There was a roar from the other side of the forest, but he ignored it.
The other squad would take care of it.
"Is there a problem, Jin?"
Raiger walked up to Jin while dragging his horse behind him. He was grateful for Jin's presence, it had reduced the number of casualties to almost nothing, but Jin had been on edge for a while now.
Jin shook his head.
"I don't know. Something just doesn't feel right"
'Something doesn't feel right?"
"Yes," Jin said, making sure to keep his eyes peeled for any movement around him, "This isn't how this was supposed to go. Things are too quiet"
"Too Quiet? Isn't that a good thing?"
"Not now. Not when there has been an increase for the past three months. why did the boogymen suddenly stop showing up?"
