AMBUSH

They were everywhere.

Jin stood back, a sword in his hands and many more floating around him. He watched as an entire battalion of boogymen ran up to him, throwing down trees and roaring in derision as they approached.

And then he blinked, and they were gone.

'Great' Jin thought while looking around at the undisturbed trees swaying in the silent forest, 'Now I'm seeing things'

"What in the world is going on here?"

He muttered, looking around the empty forest. There was a roar from somewhere behind him and he and the other soldiers quickly turned their horses in that direction. They rode towards the sound.

But it was only another lone boogyman and Jin took care of it easily enough.

His suspicions grew.

"No other noises," Raiger said to him while coming down from his horse and walking it forward. Jin didn't look at him, but he nodded.

"Should we turn back for now?" Raiger asked.
