Chapter One Hundred and Sixty Six

Sarah POV

Since I started dating George I go out with his mother more than my boyfriend, George will always frowned whenever his mother will come around the company. On that Saturday George mother proposed that we go for shopping, we eventually went shopping and it was full of fun and Mrs Vincent bought a lot of clothes, shoes, bags, jewelries for me. All my life I have never been pampered with a lot of luxurious things, even when I tried to turn her down she was very furious at me. Stating that her son George will never allow her to pamper him cause he claimed he is a man, now that she found a daughter she want to pamper am turning her down.

I can't say anything else cause I understand how much she long for a daughter but ended up with only a son that is the reason why she adores so much. Now that Ella said that her father invited George and I to a party he is hosting this coming Saturday, I silently thanked George Mum over again for buying all those stuffs for me. Cause am sure there is something befitting in there for me to wear to the party, am aware that Ella father don't like me one bit cause of my poor background and he will stop at nothing to always slap it to my face that am not in the same class with his daughter.

That's why am grateful that I now have befitting clothes to wear to such function. I still don't understand why Ella father will invite me to his own party and Ella is tongue tied about it. I was with Ella when my phone started ringing I looked at the caller ID and George is the one calling, I quickly picked the call and leave the room cause am not ready to sit around and hear Ella teasing me nonstop while I answer calls especially if George is the one that called. 

Hello babe,how are you? I asked while smiling widely. Am good love and you, how are you doing? Are you OK? George asked and I can detect worry in his tone. Am okay jeez stop with the questions you sound so worried, is there something going on? I asked him. Yes am very worried cause I got a very disturbing information, George told me. Okay my heart is now beating so fast for George to sound this serious it must be something serious. What is the information that you got? I asked him.

It's about Anna, she is asking questions about the blueprints and she is now aware that we intentionally gave them that blueprints knowing fully well that the design is not meant for the competition and she is coming for revenge and the scary part is that she is armed with a gun, George told me. Gun? Anna is with a gun? God I know that woman is very dangerous, how the hell did George not able to see the kind of woman she is while he was dating her. I guess that's what they mean when they say that love is blind, my inner self replied to my question.

Hey love are you still there? George asked. I guess I spaced out, yes am still here just that am afraid George, I told him. I understand your fears but I want to assure you that nothing will happen to you, no harm will come your way so long am alive, George said. I believe him and I trust him to protect me but am still afraid cause George will not be there with me all the time and the lady I saw on the day of the competition, the same lady that cornered me is very scary and she is the type that will not stop until she get what she want.

Sarah reason why I told you this is because I want you to be very careful if you ever come in close contact with Anna cause there is a possibility that gun is not the only thing he armed herself with, George told me. Now this fueled up my fears, how deadly can this woman be? Is she that desperate? Haven't she done enough? These are the question I kept on asking myself. Okay I have heard you I will make sure to be more careful now, I assured him. That's better and remember I will not let any harm come to you, George reminded me. I love you babe, I said to him. I love you too, I got to go cause I need to help Max with something, George explained. Okay talk later, I bade him goodbye and end the call.

Am in the office on Friday when George mother called me to inform me that she is around the company, that I should come out so that we can have coffee. I accepted the invitation cause the truth is that I also enjoy her company, I walked to George office to inform him that am going to have coffee with his mother. I knocked and enter his office, hey babe, he smiled at me the moment I walked in. I know that his smile is about to be wiped out the moment I will tell him what brought me to his office. Miss me already? He asked in a teasing tone. Of course I miss you but that's not why am here, I told him.

Okay ma'am why don't you come over here and tell me what really brought you to my office, George said smiling. I walked towards him and sat on his laps and pecked his lips, he wanted to deepened the kiss but I stop him cause I don't want to keep his mother waiting. I want to tell you that your mother called and am about to have coffee with her, I told him to which he rolled his eyes at what I said. I don't know if am the one dating you or my mother cause you spend more time with her than me, George complained. Am sorry babe I promise to make it up to you, I told him and give him another kiss and stood up immediately before he decides to deepened the kiss.
