Ch. 71 - Hydra's 'effective' plan

"How is it? Is it finally done?" Sitting in his office, Doflamingo asked his assistant, Natalya.

"Phastos is still finishing some touches before we launch it." Natalya said, while placing down a mug filled with coffee on the table.

"Thank you. Tell him to make the game free. I want everyone to experience a brand new kind of game." Doflamingo said.

"Are you sure about this? We're literally earning nothing with this." Natalya said, worriedly.

"That's the point. I want the people to know that our company isn't earning anything with this." Doflamingo said.

"To earn sympathy? Doffy, that's not how a gaming company works."

"No, to earn appreciation. If we make it buyable then people would think that our company is the same as the others companies. I want them to know that we only wanted bring entertainment to everyone. I don't want to have a player with an empty pocket." Doflamingo said before continuing.

"And besides, I'll use my personal money to pay everything that is needed to be payed. If you're really adamant on this then how about this." Doflamingo said before leaning forward and continued.

"We would make it an ingame purchase. But I don't want it to be a Pay to Win game, so we'll wait until the fame of Minecraft reaches throughout the world and then we'll make skins that requires ingame purchase to obtain. Though this skin doesn't give them anything useful but it is very eye catching and imagine out of all the common skins, you have one of the unique skins in the entire game. And if Minecraft do become the world most wanted and famous game, then we could make an auction in skins. We could make a skin that can only be worn by a single player throughout the entire game." Doflamingo confidentally said. With his knowledge in his past life combined with the fact that the gaming entertainment in this world is trash, Doflamingo is a hundred percent sure that Minecraft would become one of the biggest if not, the biggest game in the entire Earth.

Who knows, maybe the alien civilizations doesn't have anything noteworthy in gaming industry, then Doflamingo could make Minecraft reach the other civilizations.

"Natalya, there are so many ways for our game to earn money, and besides, just to inform you I'm a self made billionaire and I could triple that whenever I want to. So, just relax and leave it all to me. I'm not doing this for money, I'm doing this to make the people love me." Doflamingo smiled calmly and said, while leaning back on his chair.

"Sigh, you're right. I think I'm taking my job too seriously." Natalya sighed and rubbed her temples before chuckling after finishing her sentence.

"No No. You're doing a good job. Just continue maintaining that. How's your kids by the way?" Doflamingo didn't agree to what she said before changing the topic.

"They're doing fine. I didn't expect Pietro to also have a unique ability. Though it's different from me and her sister, Wanda since we both gained access to the Chaos Magic but Pietro's ability made him really fast. He can become a blur to our eyes." Natalya said while raising her chest pridely. I mean, who doesn't when your children are unique compared to other bland children who will only finish school, find a job, find a wife and die happily.

Unlike the other kids, her children could become something much more than just a random civilian with a random life. They could partake in changing the world and with Doflamingo's guidance, they could become one of the Earth's Pillars.

"As their mother, it is my responsibility to carve a path for them, so I'm thinking of training them in using their powers." Natalya said before continuing.

"Though I could teach Wanda effortlessly but I'm having problems with Pietro because sometimes, he himself always trips or collides with obstacles. He said that his visions slows down but his body cannot. So he's having this problem." Natalya sighed and said. However, Doflamingo's next words seems to surprise.

"I think I have something that could help him. How about this, you will train Wanda while I'll be the one who will train Pietro." Doflamingo thought of this for a few moments before deciding. After hearing about Pietro's problems, he decided to teach him something that only him is capable.

Which is Haki. There are two reason why he would teach Pietro this technique. First is that it would make Pietro more stronger than his alternate self and lastly, Doflamingo also wanted to experiment whether a person that doesn't belong to the One Piece world could master the ability that belongs to One Piece only.

And if he succeeded, then it will open many possibilities to Doflamingo. If he could teach Haki to anyone, then his family would indeed become much stronger and become unstoppable if given enough time.

"Really! Thanks! I appreciate that a lot, Doffy." Natalya beamed in happiness and hugged Doflamingo.

[Goodmorning, Sir.]

Suddenly, Doflamingo's phone screen turned on and a little child made of red dots suddenly appeared.

"How's it going, Alice? Is there any problem?" Doflamingo confusedly asked.

If you're wondering who she is, then you'd probably know that Matilda just created an A.I a month ago, and now after improving a lot of codes and programs in her, she is now as capable as Jarvis in the movies. She could do calculations, hacking, managing some of his bank accounts and even gain access in the internet. It might sound dangerous but Matilda assured him that there's no loose screw in Alice and she would not go around exterminating human population.

[Someone tried to access your phone and give you a message. Fortunately, I repelled it in time and before leaving, it left a message to you. Do you want me to open it, sir?] Alice explained.

"Tell me what is it?" Doflamingo raised his eye brow and asked, he didn't expect that someone has the guts to invade his privacy.

[The message says, "I have the lives of the kids in the orphanage you used to live in, if you want to take them from me, then come at this location. I'll be waiting." And that's where the message ends. Do you want to reply, sir?]

"Hmm, tell me what you think about the message first, Alice." Doflamingo then asked for Alice's opinion, wanting to test her on whether Matilda inputted some human common sense into her.

[To me, it definitely sounds like a trap, sir. But we can't just ignore the fact that the kids that you assigned Ms. Matilda to look for is at the hands of this man.] Alice expressed.

"Good." Doflamingo nodded his head in approval before continuing.

"Then I'll go, search for the location, Alice."

[....Sir, did you perhaps not hear what I just said? This is obviously a trap.] Alice said in a worried tone.

'She could even feel emotions? Damn, Matilda really did her best this time huh?' Doflamingo smiled and nodded his head again in approval.

"I know, but like what you said we can't ignore the fact that this guy or whoever he is knows that I'm looking for the children and even have the confidence to say that he has them. Even if it is a trap, do you really think there's someone in this world that could threaten me?" Doflamingo said, and what he said is right. Aside from the Celestials, Odin, and Ancient One. There's nothing in this world that could threaten his life and even if they did, he has many means to escape.

[Okay, sir. I'll send the coordinates directly through your phone.] Alice gave in and said. It's not like she could stop Doflamingo, he's her master and she's an A.I created to do everything that he says.

"Thank you Alice. I'll ask Matilda to upgrade your servers." Doflamingo thanked her. Although she's just an A.I in the eyes of others but to him, she's part of the family and no family gets left behind.

[Then, I will express my gratitude to you, Sir.] Alice said, containing some emotions in her voice.

"Are you really going? Even knowing that it's a trap? You could die you know. What if they prepared some kind of weapon that could kill you?" Natalya was inside the room, so she obviously heard their conversation just now.

"I know. But it doesn't hurt to try. And besides, if my guess is right, then these guys are obviously underestimating me. I haven't really revealed all of my cards on the table, so they won't know what's coming for them." Doflamingo confidently said before his outfit morphs into his usual Joker outfit.

"Do you want me to join? I could help." Natalya still expressed her concerns.

"No need, this is my problem and it is only right that I solve it myself." Doflamingo said for the last time before picking up his phone and after reading the given location, he opened a portal and stepped inside, leaving Natalya alone in the office.

"It would take him a long time to get in here, we should prepare." Brock Rumlow, or also known as Crossbones. Was wearing his famed outfit, which is a metal mask with a white mark into it.

"Sir, we're receiving no signals from the base near here." An armed agent saluted before giving his report.

"What? We just called them a few minutes ago, what do you mean that we lost signal with them!" Crossbones is a hot tempered man, so he pushed the man away and grabbed his radio before calling out.

"Base-6C4, do you copy? I repeat, this is Crossbones, Base-6C4 do you copy? Shit! Someone must've sabotaged out signal waves!" Crossbones slammed the radio on the ground before cursing.

"Who is it? There must be some kind of mole." Crossbones looked around in suspicion.

Just when Crossbones was about to start pointing fingers, the lights on the warehouse suddenly disappeared.

"What happened?" Crossbones yelled and tried to look around but saw nothing but darkness.

"Can anyone hear me?"

"Sir! I'm over here!" A random agent said.

"Everyone, gather around me. They must be planning on taking us one by one!" Crossbones immediately analyzed the enemies plans and gave orders.

"Sorry to tell you but my plan is quite the opposite."
