Ch. 103 - Visitors

"Mother look at this! They call this a hat!" Thor excitedly grabbed a hat that he got from the trash and wore it before striking a pose, showing off to Frigga.

"You look so handsome in that hat, Thor." Frigga smiled and complimented.

"Haha! Mother, even without this hat, I'm already handsome!" Thor proudly puffed his chest up and said.

Frigga chuckled lightly as a voice spoke behind them.

"Wow, Thor. You just left Midgard for a few days and now you're here picking up trash with such a beautiful lady?" When Thor looked at the source of the voice, he saw Doflamingo leaning on a wall.

"Doffy!" Thor excitedly ran to him before giving him a huge and mighty hug.

"How've you been Thor?" Doflamingo smiled and reciprocated the hug as he asked him.

"I'm doing fine. But sadly, Loki was..." Thor seemed to be happy at the first sentence but the moment he mentioned Loki, his expression turned sad.

"I see. I'm sorry." Doflamingo also seemed to be a bit down as he nodded his head in understanding. However, inside his mind, he knew that Loki is still alive and must've been picked up by Thanos.

And soon, Loki would invade Midgard with the Chitauri, carrying the mighty scepter with the Mind Stone embedded in it.

"It's fine. I just recently moved on." Thor understood Doflamingo's feelings and patted his shoulders and said.

"I'm glad. How about I invite you to a restaurant? It's on me." Doflamingo stated, earning him the smile of Thor.

"HaHa! That's why I like you! Oh, and by the way. This is my mother, Frigga, the wife of Odin! Mother, this is my good best friend, Donkuso- Donkui- Doffy!" Thor introduced them to each other while having a hard time pronouncing Doflamingo's surname, which is Donquixote.

"It's Donquixote, Thor. Anyways, nice to meet you, your highness, Frigga." Doflamingo then held Frigga's hand to kiss the back of it, displaying his chivalry and respect. Frigga smiled and thanked him, feeling grateful for the old-fashioned gesture.

"What a gentleman." Frigga said.

After having dinner with Thor and Frigga, Doflamingo then invited them to the Sanctuary where they finally revealed their purpose.

"Actually, Doffy. There's a reason why we're here." Thor said.

"What is it?" Doflamingo was also confused as he's been thinking hard about the reason why Thor and Frigga are on Midgard. It's not written somewhere on MCU that Frigga visited Midgard along with Thor.

"Do you remember my sister? My mother here wanted to see her." The moment Thor dropped those words, Doflamingo started sweating as he finally realized why they're on Midgard.

'Shit! I knew I should've told him to be quiet about Hela.' Doflamingo cursed and yelled to himself inside his mind but on the inside, he's still keeping a poker face.

"Oh, Hela? Yeah, sure I'll introduce you to her." Doflamingo said and just by the look on Frigga's face, he knew that he already fucked up and if possible, he must stop any fight that might happen if Frigga and Hela met.

Now, he doesn't know how good Frigga's relationship is with Hela, but Doflamingo could already predict that there will be atleast a small quarrel that will happen.

After Doflamingo agreed with a bit of hesitation, they finally arrived at Sanctuary and just in time when they entered, they stumbled upon Hela who was munching on some snacks on her hand.

"Darli-!" Hela was about to hug Doflamingo and give him a kiss when she suddenly noticed a familiar face behind him.

"Mother?" Hela stopped in her tracks and stared at Frigga in shock before anger replaced her shocked face.

"Why are you here?" Hela turned vexed as she spoke with spite.

"I...I just came here to see you. How are you Hela?" Frigga wanted to tell Hela that she came here to see if what Thor said is true and if it is, she would escort Hela back to Asgard, to face her father, Odin. However, she could see from Hela's way of moving and how she seemed to be comfortable here, Frigga decided against her original intention and instead, she'll just visit her to see if she's doing fine or not.

"....I'm fine." Hela turned her head away and whispered slightly, not wanting for Frigga to hear her. Too bad for her, she underestimates Frigga's senses as she clearly heard Hela's whisper which made Frigga smile at her lovingly.

"I'm glad. I'm not gonna ask how you managed to escape your seal as it might be a bit sensitive topic to you but I only have one wish from you."

"..." Hela didn't answer Frigga and just glanced at her.

Taking that as a sign, Frigga then continued what she was saying.

"I hope you could give me one last chance to make it up to you. I know you're angry at me for not defending you from your fathe-." Frigga then proceeded to explain however she was met with a glare from Hela when she was about to call Odin as Hela's father.

"-Odin. We have lost too much people at that time and Odin had a change of heart all of the sudden which also surprised me. But please understand that I never intended to hurt your feelings and I apologize if you think that way. I also tried to beg Odin to let you out once the peace across the Nine Realms has ensued but he was just too stubborn to listen to me. He kept saying that you're a monster and that you should be kept sealed." At this time, Frigga has decided to throw Odin under the bus. She knew that Odin is the wrong here and that Hela is her daughter! As a mother she would naturally pick her children over her husband. Especially knowing that Odin is the reason why Hela became the said 'monster'.

"Hela, I know there's still anger deep inside you. But know that I'll always be here for you." Frigga then stepped forward before proceeding to hug Hela, who surprisingly didn't resist.

Doflamingo took a look at Hela's face and was shocked to see tears forming under her eyes.

'I wonder why this makes me want to kill Odin right here and right now.' Doflamingo stated the feelings he's feeling right now when he looked at Hela's crying eyes.

Meanwhile, Thor was looking at Hela then Frigga from time to time as he was very confused right now.

He then turned to Doflamingo for help but noticed that Doflamingo was clenching his fists while patterned veins formed on his forehead, creating something akin to an art.

Doflamingo took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. As he did so, he made a note in his mind to someday to make Odin suffer the same as what he did to his own daughter.

Odin is wise to everything except for taking care of his own children. He's a failure at being a father.

After a few minutes of reunion, Doflamingo invited them to have a cup of tea and booze (for Thor.)

As they sat down together, Frigga was the first one to speak.

"I'm very grateful to you Doffy, for taking care of my daughter all this time. And for giving her something that we failed to give her back then." Frigga then glanced at Hela and winked her eyes. Doflamingo could clearly tell that Frigga was referring to Love. She's not wrong anyway, Hela grew up lacking the feeling of being loved.

Hela just turned her head away in embarrassment as if she was caught making love with her boyfriend by her mother.

'Why am I even feeling all this?' Hela clenched her chest and wondered and when she glimpse at Doflamingo's charming face, she finally got an answer to her question.

'I see, it's because of him.' Hela smiled to herself and answered her own question.

Meanwhile, Doflamingo noticed Hela's smiling face and wondered on what's going on inside her mind.

"I hope you won't stop at what you're doing and in return, I'll fulfill one of your requests as long as it is within capabilities." Frigga finally dropped down the big deal.

"I-I wanted to refuse it but there's really something I really need." Doflamingo pretended to be shy about it and even scratched the back of his head.

"What is it?" Frigga asked in anticipation, wondering what would Doflamingo ask of her.

"You know. I'm something of a magician myself. I learned magic under the Sorcerer Supreme herself." Doflamingo first revealed the hint on what he is about to request.

"Ah! The Ancient One, right? I quite know her. I assume you want to learn magic from me, young man?" Frigga already guessed Doflamingo's request.

"That's right. As expected of a powerful sorcerer like you. You already predicted what my request is." Doflamingo then proceeded to compliment her, this is to increase his chances of making Frigga agree in training him.

"Oh, it's nothing. It's just my intuition. If you do want to learn magic from me, it would be very hard, you know? Are you ready?" Frigga accepted his compliments without denying it one bit.

"I'm born ready." Doflamingo smirked proudly and said.

"I'll see that tomorrow. As of now, I wanted to have a private talk with my daughter, if I may?" Frigga finally agreed.

"Thank you very much! And of course, Hela here would gladly have a private talk with you." Doflamingo then proceed to guide them to a private room where they could have their private conversation.

Just as Frigga entered, Hela first faced Doflamingo and casted a glare.

"Are you seducing my mother?" Hela said with a venomous tone.

"What? No, I'm just complimenting her to increase my chances of letting her teach me magic." Doflamingo shook his head and said.

"Hmph, If I discovered that you're seducing with her then I'll force you to have sex with me and trust me, I'll suck you dry!" Hela said as she grabbed his crotch area before entering the room.

"I see that as an absolute win." Doflamingo said.
