Wafi knocked on Hisoki's door, waiting for the professor to answer. Why did he drive across town to see his teacher? Well, he doesn't really know. All he really knows is that he is here now. Why was never bad.
Wafi hadn't been at school for a while, his parents and him taking a week trip to other hotels in the country. Just to see if everything checks up. Wafi went with them because he had a test that Monday, and he did not want to go. However, on his first day back, everyone hadn't even noticed his presence. But the part that surprised him was the fact that in English, they had to do real work. Nothing crazy happened like usual. It somewhat hurt Wafi.
Hisoki, with a toothbrush in his mouth, opened the door. He looked up at Wafi, his chocolate eyes meeting Wafi's hazel ones. Wafi smiles. "I have food." He said, lifting a bag of takeout. Hisoki stared at him for a second, before laughing. "Come in, I guess. Should have warned me though, I could have been ready." Hisoki laughed, stepping aside and Wafi walks in, placing the box of curry on the counter. "So, Mr. Wafi, what exactly are you doing here?" Hisoki asked, shutting the door and turning to look at Wafi. Wafi nonchalantly gestures back to the box. "Food, as stated previously. Why do you look like that?"
Hisoki had his normal outfit on, a black button up, a gold pendant necklace, brown slacks, and brown dress shoes. But over top of it was a pink and blue floral apron. Hisoki laughed awkwardly. "Oh, yeah. About that. Kiso decided to come out and clean my apartment since she deemed it as messy." Hisoki murmured. Hisoki? Messy? Those two words never would go together. Wafi smiled. "I like Kiso, she is me but a female." He says, sprawling out on the couch.
Hisoki rolled his eyes. The teacher reached behind his back, untying the apron. That's when Wafi noticed the light eyeshadow on his eyes. Not like the smokey eye that the other altar had, but a pastel pink look. It was good, maybe even better than Kai's. "She did your makeup?" Wafi asked, an amused smile on his face. Hisoki hummed, nodding.
"Why do you look like that?" Hisoki countered. Wafi looked down at his outfit. He was wearing a gray and white striped suit, his brown hair pushed back and out of his face. He had sunglasses on the top of his head. Wafi smiled. "I worked at my parents' hotel today." He explained, unbuttoning his jacket. He slid it off his arms, placing it on the arm of the chair.
Hisoki stared at him, seemingly out of nowhere. "Hisoki?" Wafi asked, looking at him. Hisoki looked at him, a soft smile on his face. "I know I look good, no need to stare." Wafi teased, leaning back on the couch. Hisoki shook his head, laughing. "At least you know that." Hisoki says. Wafi smirked, biting his tongue. "Did you just agree that I look good?" Wafi said, excited from the new info. Hisoki glanced towards him. "You do. You look very handsome." Hisoki complemented.
That made his day.
He grinned. "My husband just said I looked good. What's next, are you going to kiss me?"
"Do you want me to?"
Wafi didn't expect a response like that. Not for Hisoki. He thought for a moment, thinking of a sarcastic answer. But, he would love a kiss from Hisoki. He had a feeling everyone would want a kiss from their teacher. That would be amazing. He thought for a moment. "Yes I would." He said, nonchalantly. Hisoki didn't even spare him a glance, nor did he spare him a kiss. "Maybe someday." He shrugged, turning to Wafi, who pouted. "Not fair, you kissed Baker!" Wafi pointed out, giving him puppy eyes. Hisoki shakes his head, smiling. "Not me, technically. I wasn't in control." He explained "Please, just one." Hisoki was silent. Wait, was he actually thinking about saying yes? He sighed.
"Fine." He muttered.
Wait….. What?
Wafi stared at Hisoki, watching him walk over to the food. Was he actually going to get a kiss? From Hisoki? Like a real kiss? Like… a real real- "Wafi, why do you look so happy?" Hisoki asked, laughing. Wafi looked down at the floor. He was going to scream, he was going to freak out. But he couldn't, cause Hisoki would kick him out. Without a kiss.
"Cause, I'm going to kiss the hottest person I know." Wafi says, gaining his sarcastic remarks back. He was going to scream. Well, he felt like he was. HIsoki shook his head, grabbing a white bowl with a clear plastic top, the steam creating a white spot. "Do you want spicy chicken, or spicy shrimp?" Hisoki asked, looking up at him. Wafi hums, thinning for a moment. "Spicy shrimp." Wafi answered. Hisoki nodded, reaching for the other container. He walked over to Wafi, handing him the shrimp. "By the way, I thought Harley was the hottest person you knew." Hisoki said.
Wafi smiled, nodding. "He is, isn't he? Everyone in my class is hot. Ugh, they all are totally fuckable." Wafi said, making Hisoki hit him in the leg. "Not nice." He said. Wafi pouted, scooting away from Hisoki. "First off, you're not allowed to hit your student, and second; you know it's true." Wafi teased. Hisoki didn't say much after that, moving his food around with his chopsticks. Wafi reached down, grabbing a piece of chicken from Hisoki.
The teacher didn't mind moving his plate so Wafi could have more. However Wafi only took a small piece. "It's your food, you have it." Wafi said, pushing the plate back to Hisoki. "I want to know something-"
"You always want to know something." Hisoki pointed out. Wafi huffed, before continuing. "What did you think of us when you met us?" Wafi asked. Hisoki stayed quiet, turning to sit in front of Wafi. Though he still had to look up, since Wafi was sitting on the sofa and he wasn't. "What I thought? Well, hard question. I thought you guys were really kind and sweet. Very serious about your school work. I had read your transcripts, they were fantastic. But then I say your personality. Saw how silly all of you are. I was shocked by Harley, since he was so hostile."
"He was an ass."
"Wafi.."
"What? He's not anymore."
"That's mean."
"You forgave him?"
"Yes?"
"You like him?"
"You're acting like Mago."
"I'll take that as a compliment."
Wafi's phone buzzed from his coat pocket, making the boy frown. He can't even have a moment to eat with his husband. "I have to go. They want me back at the hotel." He mumbled sadly. Hisoki frowned, but nodded. "Alright, I'll take this." Hisoki said, grabbing Wafi's empty bowl for him. Wafi smiled, taking his coat. He sighed. "And we were having such a good date." He whined, frowning.
HIsoki laughed, quickly cleaning up their small mess. He placed both bowls on the island, before opening the door for Wafi. Wafi walked out, turning around. He smiled. "Don't think I forgot about the kiss-"
Hisoki grabbed Wafi's collar, pulling him in for a quick kiss. The professor's soft lips meet Wafi's frozen ones from the cold. The kiss sent shivers down his spine, the warmth creating such a difference from the cold October weather. His lips were smooth and graceful, as if he had done it a million times. Yet the meaning made it feel like his first. Hisoki's grip on Wafi's collar stayed the same, strong and demanding. Wafi's hand made its way to Hisoki's face, cupping it gently.
Wafi took a step back into Hisoki's apartment when his phone buzzed again. Hisoki pulled away, laughing. Wafi frowned. "You are such a good kisser." Wafi said, poking his arm. He really hoped nothing would be weird between them. Hisoki wouldn't just allow Wafi to kiss him for no reason. Hisoki rolled his eyes. "You need to go. I will not let you get in trouble." Hisoki said, pushing him out. Wafi shrugged. "Eh, they don't care that much about me." He said, before walking down the hall.
He didn't want to brag to Yoshi or talk about Harley. In the end, he was just joking. And yet, that kiss made his heart flutter. His heart urged for more. He wondered.
What would have happened if his phone didn't buzz?
