CHAPTER 10 : FIGHTING WITH MUMMY PART 1

Hearing what Alex said all stopped their bickering

"Good now all of you divide into groups so that we can cover more places," said Alex.

In group Alex, there are O'Connell, Jonathan, and Ardeth Bay. After the people were divided into three groups, they walked into the depths of Hamunaptra. During the walk, Ardeth Bay turned towards Alex and asked

"You seem to know us" as he felt Alex about them all along

"Yeah, I know from ancient times your group has protected this land from evil" Alex responded, as he said what he saw in the movie.

"How did you hear about us?" asked Ardeth,as there are not many people who know about them.

"It is a secret," said Alex. I cannot say I saw that in the movie

"So you know what danger located here "

"Yes, I know the high priest Imhotep and his lover are buried here for their sins but i did not expect him to be revived, now he also wants to revive his lover so he needs a sacrifice so he kidnapped Eve," said Alex.

Alex didn't expect a deviation from the plot and that caused all this.

Hearing this, Oconnell said, "you mean he will kill Eve?"

"Alex tell the truth will he really kill Eve?" asked Jonathan anxiously feeling that his sister was in danger.

"yes if we don't hurry," said Alex, feeling anxious because the plot has changed he cannot say about the safety of Eve while Alex was thinking about Eve's safety.

Inside the ritual room.

"you what have you done to them?" Eve asked, seeing the mummified corpses of the American group at the moment Imhotep recovered his complete human appearance and also his powers.

"you don't need to know now give me the key to this book," said Imhotep holding a black book of death.

"I don't have any key " eve turned ready to run but Imhotep came in front of her and lifted her by holding her neck eve tried to struggle while struggling, but the key fell from her pocket seeing this imhotep let go of her neck and picked the key from the ground.

Imhotep came to the ritual table where there was the mummified corpse of his lover and five bottles with various animal shapes.

These bottles contain her funeral dust. He opened the black book of death and began to read and tied Eve to another table beside the mummified corpse. She began to shout to leave her.

When he was about to start he felt someone approaching the ritual site. As he doesn't want anyone to disturb the ritual.

He started to chant the mantra from the book and waved the wand in the air. As he chanted, the mummies on the wall began to stir and slowly come alive, their eyes glowing with a strange light. He continued to chant, and the mummies slowly moved towards Imhotep.

Looking at the mummies, he said

"Get out of here and stop the invaders, particularly the man with red eyes," said Imhotep remembering Alex's strength. He may not be able to face him even at full strength. The mummies followed Imhotep's orders and began to walk towards the Alex group

While Alex group

"Alex where are we and why is it dark here?" asked Oconnell

Alex did not say anything and observed the surroundings with fire in his hands and saw a mirror at the top of the ceiling. He shot the bullet and hit the mirror.

The mirror turned and connected with other mirrors and lit up the whole room the whole room was ancient Egypt gold statues and various jewels and treasures seeing this Alex said

"let's go our destination is that way" pointing towards the other side where there is the entrance

"wow treasure can we take it after we return?" asked Jonathan

Oconnell said seriously, "First comes Eve's rescue."

"see jonathan her husband is better than her brother let go" said Alex dragging Jonathan

They came to the other of the room on the narrow side of corridor. Several mummies began to appear when they saw Alex. All of them ran toward him like he is their lifelong enemy.

"i know I am handsome but I don't like mummies," said Alex and moved at inhuman speed and punched them with his full strength and the mummies flew out and crashed into the nearby wall.

Seeing this all of them shocked Oconnell and Jonathan knew Alex was strong but this was on a whole different level they could not help but ask

"Alex how strong are you?" asked Oconnell

"yes what are you ?" asked Ardeth bay the strength that Alex showed is not something that humans possess.

"I am 10 times stronger than an average person," said alex calmly

Hearing this ardeth bay, oconnell , Jonathan were shocked oconnell could not help but ask

"so why you could not kill that mummy ?"

" brute strength cannot kill magic see those mummies are coming back " Alex pointed at the scattered mummies that were previously scattered.

"you guys should go and deal with that mummy i take care of this guys " said alex

After following Alex's instructions, the group entered the ritual hall and saw Eve was about to be stabbed. Oconnell shot the imhotep on back ,feeling the pain Imhotep turned around and left the knife on the table. He came towards oconnell who is on steps above the pond.

"Jonathan you go free eve we deal with -----" oconnell stopped seeing imhotep in front and punched O'Connell in his stomach while feeling the pain he held Imhotep's hand and said

"Go now!"

When Ardeth Bay tried to cut his head, Impotep dodged and kicked him in the stomach, throwing Oconnell to the ground. Seeing this, Jonathan ran towards Eve ritual table with a golden book in his hands which was given by Alex.

Seeing her brother coming

"Brother hurry remove this restraint hurry" said Eve anxiously

At the same time, the mumified corpse began to move seeing this eve

Jonathan hurriedly removed Eve's restraints and got up from the table. Meanwhile, the mummified took the sword from the table and began to move toward them.

"Eve, how do you deal with them?" asked Jonathan running with Eve.

"how the hell i suppose to know ?" said Eve

"What Alex said you can kill those with this book " handing her the golden book as Jonathan gave the book to eve Anck-su-namun tried to attack eve but Jonathan stopped and while eve and Jonathan fighting Anck-su-namun this is happening on the alex side
