Chapter - 14 Betrayal

In the hidden village of Konoha,

the two jonin ninja couple,

Sarada and Mazama, embarked on the mission of protecting the jinchuruki of the waterfall village entrusted by the Hokage,

Unaware of the fact that they were compromised for the greater good of the village they called theirs,

An ambush was awaiting them.

Sarada, a mixed descendant of the Senju and Uzumaki lineage, and Mazama, belonging to the Sarutobi clan and with a promising future,

They shared a bond that went beyond their martial prowess—they were also devoted partners in marriage, with an almost 6 year old child.

Their journey began with optimism and determination, but when they arrived near their destination after 2 weeks subtle unease seeped in as they arrived near waterfall village .

" Sarada be careful I'm having a bad feeling right now, be on guard."

" I'm feeling the same , it's like something's wrong but I just can't point as to what it is."

What they thought as to be a crucial assignment for the village's safety and a deterrent to the war,

" Sarada at your left." Sarada defects the Kunai with hers and activates her kaguya's mind eye to search for the one's behind the kunai.

"Hubby , it's an ambush , there are atleast 60 ninjas with atleast 25 being joinin and the rest are atleast chunin or tobetsuki jonin.

They have hostile intentions but have familiar chakra, wait one of them is Zenitsu ."

Her ability has now revealed the treacherous trap set by a collusion of Anbu and Root operatives.

" What are you doing here Zenitsu, and what with these group of people." Saying this they prepare themselves for the fight.

The chamelion mask comes forward, in chilling and unaffectionate tone " I'm sorry Sensei but you have betrayed the village by selling it's secrets to the enemy ninjas, hokage has ordered us to hunt you and your wife down."

"I'm sorry I don't know how you have fallen so low to betray your own village, as your student I should have stopped you but I never thought of the possibility even in my dreams,

That you will betray the village, but I will right my wrong now, prepare yourself for death Sensei."

Knowing that he has been betrayed by the village and the hokage and Caught in a deadly ambush,

Sarada and Mazama fought valiantly against their adversaries. Saradas admanite chains and earth jutsu and Takeshi's mastery of fire-style techniques clashed against the combined might of the elite Anbu-Root forces.

"I'm sorry Ben looks like dad won't be able to attend your birthday, Zenitsu -- sarutobi style emperor first Dragon."

With that last attack he killed Zenitsu and in total killed atleast 5 jonins and some common fodder.

With tears in her eyes "Sorry Ben looks like even mommy won't be able to come back.

Fire release admanite spears."

With that the chains become fiery spears and took away the life of 6 jonins and in total she killed 21 ninjas including the jonins.

As they took their last breaths , thoughts of their six-year-old child, blessed with a unique bloodline limit, weighed heavily on their hearts.

They feared for their child's safety in the wake of the village's betrayal. Would their innocent offspring be targeted due to his powerfull bloodline and mixed heritage.?

They could only pray to the gods above, to keep their child safe and happy,

Their heads were stomped on by the remaining ninjas to vent their frustration for the comrades life they took,

they cursed them constantly and hanged them on the trees, not giving them even a moment of peace in their last breath, and as their final act they gouged out their eyes for proof of their completion of mission.

With her eyes gouged out and surviving on sheer will sarada uses her uzumakis last resort technique sharing last thoughts ' Ben, I'm your mother ,me and your father are dead the village betrayed us, while on the pretense of a mission we were ambushed by the combined group of Anbu and Root.

Ben never believe the hokage or anyone from konoha, and don't let them know that you know what happened."

"Remember, my dear, when the time comes for justice, choose wisely. Revenge may seem tempting, but it's not the path to healing.

Stay true to yourself, doesn't matter if you choose justice or vengeance. I trust you to make the right choices.

In konoha

Ben was placing the dishes on the dining table for him and Naruto when suddenly,

He heard his mother's voice but this time it was weak and sounded sad, it were her last words while listening to her last message,

Tears welled up in Ben's eyes from hearing her mother's last words, about the Betrayal and her love for her, when the message completed itself, Ben stood there still with tears in his eyes.

Naruto when arrived in dining room " what happened Ben why are you crying." Full flustered and not understanding his friends condition he was becoming anxious with each passing second.

His friend was standing still , with tears in his eyes, not speaking a word, not responding to him in any way.

Gradually while mustering his courage while fumbling he spoke "Na....Na... Naruto I...I need to lea....lea...leave for moment please take care of the house."

Ben started walking towards the door his eyes wet with tears and a glint of the hell he is going to show the ones responsible.

He closed the door behind him, without thinking anything about the one Anbu monitering him, he transformed into Xlr8 and fused with diamond head.

With the speed of a bullet shot from a G lock 18, he moved towards the Anbu and before he could do anything he skewered his hand in his stomach, and started branching of the crystals all inside his body.

Seito, after the green light appeared he just saw a blur of blue and triangular shape head with a masked, before his consciousness started to fade, he didn't even knew why he was killed and by whom.

After skewering him the entity didn't stopped in full speed he raced out of the village with the dead body in hand, his destination Unknown.

But what was know was the pain he was going to put the killers of his parents through.
