Chapter 22: Departure

After me and Elysia enjoyed the surroundings for a bit. We return to say goodbye to Su and Eden. "You okay now Ein?" Elysia asked to be sure.

I smiled at her. "Don't worry too much Elysia I'll be just fine. A beautiful girl comforted me after all." I then gave her a noogie.

Elysia: "Ow! Is this how you repay my generosity!?" She huffed. "I'm glad you're back to your usual self though. Let's go and see Eden and Su now, they must be getting suspicious on where we are."

We arrived and saw the gang. Eden noticed us and then squinted her eyes at me. "Nice of you to be here Ein. Where oh where were you with Elysia?" She stared at us like we did a crime.

Elysia doesn't want to make it any easier though as she hugged my arm and explained. "Oh, we were just strolling around a field with beautiful flowers and shared a moment. Ein was really pulling out all the stops, he was so romantic! I had to just kiss him! Fufufu~" She then fidgeted like a girl in love.

I just deadpan stare at her antics. Eden was quite calm though. "Hah, I knew that I just can't keep you to myself but, you could've at least waited for me to go you charming bastard!"

I shrug and decided to get on Elysia's joke. "What can I say, I'm irresistible. But you already know that. Now, don't you guys have a flight to catch?" I used the almighty subject change.

Su: "I'm gonna miss you guys. I'll definitely make a cure for honkai corruption and I'm gonna go here in MOTH as well."

Mei: "Don't worry Su, we believe in your abilities. We'll help you by sending some of our findings here in MOTH too."

Kevin hugged Su "We'll wait for you Su! Do your best, we'll be splendid soldiers when you return."

Eden: "I'll miss our little group as well. Elysia, we'll talk a bit when we meet up next time. You too Himeko, I know you admire Ein a little too much." Himeko didn't react but her cheeks were a bit red.

Ein: "Go on guys we'll contact each other often." I hugged them both "I love you Eden, I'll make some time on some songs or pieces for you."

Eden: "I love you too. Let's see each other soon you guys, don't be too busy and call us."

We then waved at them as they boarded the car and left. "There they go. I'm starting to miss them already." I then look at Kevin, Elysia, and Himeko. "You guys are gonna go for the physicals for the soldier section right? I need to see if you're prepared. I'm already in after all, Mobius knows what I can do."

Kevin then paled as he sweated buckets. Elysia then saw his reaction "Kevin, why are you so scared?" She tilted her head.

Kevin looked at Elysia with a serious gaze "You don't know how much of a slave driver this guy is! He'll run you ragged. You won't feel your legs after he's done with you." He shivers, remembering all the training he did when they were kids.

I looked at Kevin with a steely gaze silently and waited for a couple of seconds "That's what she said." They then just looked at me like an idiot while Mei blushed an atomic red.

Elysia then stared at me like I have the key to a treasure or something. "Ohhh, so you run Eden ragged until she can't feel her legs huh? Fufufu~ I need to talk to her later about this."

Mei just glared at Elysia, while Himeko has a barely noticeable blush. Kevin just looked at me like I was his deity. "Sasuga Ein-sama, I really admire you."

I just shake my head at Elysia "Enough Elysia, I'm gonna make your legs go numb too, let's see if you'll like it." I gave her an evil looking grin.

Himeko sweated a bit as well. Ein's training for her was intense as hell after all. "Prepare yourself Elysia. You'll have a training montage of a lifetime." She prayed for her soul.

The soldier trio were running around in an oval track while Ein kept up with them, all of them are wearing track suits and he had a whistle as well.

Elysia: "Hah, hah, please, no more! I'm gonna break at this rate hah." (Wink)

Kevin: "Suck it up Elysia, you're not the only one running around like your life depends on it!" He and Himeko were in better shape.

Himeko: "I told you Elysia, I hope this will make you have a bit more discipline and self restraint."

Elysia: "No! Never! If I become like you I'll go crazy!" Ein then hit her with a thin stick on her butt. "Ow! What was that for! You'll make me a masochist just like Himeko!"

Ein: "Quit yapping and keep on running Elysia. I'm testing your limits and if you can keep spouting crap like that, then you're not done yet."

Himeko glared at Elysia like she just murdered her parents "I am NOT a masochist! You damned crazy girl!"

Elysia: "Then why do you slow down for a bit at times? You pervert! Ow! Stop hitting me Ein, I'm just exposing this little pervert!"

Himeko just sputtered, trying to make a rebuttal "Ein, I'm just getting tired I swear!" Ein then hit her on the butt as well. "Ahn~" She moaned a bit but instantly put her hands on her mouth.

Everyone stopped and stared at her. Elysia with a face splitting grin on her face. Himeko turned red like a tomato as she just squatted and covered her face.

Elysia: "I told you Ein, I knew it! Whenever you guys trained and you'd look down and glare at her she would become so meek and fidget."

Ein: "I see, don't worry Himeko I'm quite open to some things." She then ran like a wind cursing at Elysia.

Kevin: "There she goes. Hah, why do you just have to go and do that Elysia." He shakes his head.

Elysia: "Te he. I did went quite a bit overboard." She stuck her tongue out.

Ein: I rub the bridge of my nose feeling tired "We'll spar tomorrow, Elysia will be the first one. I'll have to shape you up girl. Prepare yourself." As I ran to Himeko to catch up to her.

Kevin just stared at Elysia like she was trash.

Elysia: "What? Don't worry Kevin, I'll ask Mei what her fetishes are too, no need to thank me." She then ran away leaving Kevin behind, thinking seriously about what Mei's preferences are.

I quickly caught up to Himeko "Hime-chan stop! Come here and let's talk about that." She then slowly stopped as she just lowered her head and just looked on the ground.

I then walked up to her and patted her head. "Don't be too caught up with Elysia's antics Hime-chan. She's just playful like that." I raised her head by her chin and smiled at her.

Himeko sniffled, close to tears "You don't think I'm weird or something? That I'm an irredeemable pervert?" She looked at him hopefully.

I hugged her, Ahh the gap moe is just too much. "Of course not, it's only natural that we have certain preferences. What's bad though is if you force people to bend to it. Come on, let's go and get you some rest, we have a long day tomorrow and you can get back at Elysia at your spars." I ruffle her hair.

Himeko purred unconsciously as she then got serious "I'll teach her not to mess with me again tomorrow."

Ein: "Atta girl, you're my cute student so as a senior you'll have to beat her up okay?" We then laughed as we returned to our respective rooms.

Omake: Where Ein isn't awake when he's supposed to.

In the lounge in Elysian realm.

Elysia: "I shouldn't be talking about myself all the time. I want to know more about you Mei-chan. I've always wondered if your horns bring you any trouble in life?" She tilted her head.

R. Mei: "What do you mean?" She asked with a confused face.

Elysia: "For example, when you go in and out of a room will they hit the door frame? Do they hurt when they do? And do they make it impossible for you to wear a hat? How do you dry your hair with those things on the way?" She pelted Mei with questions.

Mei: "They aren't always there. They only appear when I actively use my herrscher powers.

Elysia had a look like she understood a mystery of the universe "Oh, I see. I just want to say that they look beautiful on you... Can I touch them?"

R.Mei: "No." She immediately shot her down.

Elysia got silent for a few seconds "You can touch my ears in exchange? Odin told me he likes them very much and they're very soft. It even flutters when I'm happy!"

R.Mei: "I'll pass." She immediately refused, again.

Elysia: "Aww, I thought we were soulmates~ we were starting to get closer too! Odin rarely appears so I can't touch his horns." She looked sad for a moment then perked up immediately.

R.Mei: "Who is this Odin Elysia? Kevin mentioned him once, he said I'm not qualified to know him yet, as my resolve and conviction aren't strong enough."

Elysia pondered for a solid minute "He mentioned him to you huh? You're the 1st visitor to even heard that name. How should I describe him... He's a very charismatic person, even Mobius listens to everything he says like a puppy. Every flame chaser respects him, even Kalpas speaks to him politely fufufu~

Mei was surprised, after all, it's hard to imagine Mobius and Kalpas like that. "Then, this person must have high authority? Kalpas doesn't really talk politely with anyone even those that he respects."

Elysia nodded "Hm, he has higher authority than even MEI and Kevin. Me and Eden even fought him often and we didn't even win a single time~"

R.Mei: "You fight him? Why though? Do you guys have bad blood with each other? I can't really imagine you and Eden fighting your comrade, one you respect on top of that."

Elysia giggled "Ahhh, we don't hate each other or anything. We just like to get up close and personal~" She then left a confused Mei.
